A long way Between the Truth and Trust (part 1)

Self-confidence is a result of people's accumulated experiences in their lives. Someone who experienced many things, different issues, met many people and learnt how deal with many problems, are said to be the most confident people in this world. Yet, these people are regarded at the same time as the most taxing and stressed, anxious and traumatized persons ever. Their psychic situations becomes their biggest obstacle.

Ka Di has always suspected that Jay and Amie lived a traumatic past, but what confused him is that neither of them shows these negative feelings.. Instead of being anxious or stressed, they are the ones who lead people to have an unstable feeling towards them or towards even their names. That's why Ka Di always categorizes them as the most dangerous … no!! for Amie.. she is the most devious kind of all people he had ever met.

He once had this feeling about Lu Di, but after knowing her for only 6 months at school, he could know her pretty soul. All the feelings of the uneasiness he had towards her faded away during these 6 months. It was until the day of their trip to the Swan Lake that his old feelings came back… not only this, but his world collapsed when he saw his closest friend Sam leaving him behind, and standing next to this girl who invaded his life…

Ka Di always said he had a very happy childhood, yet, the truth is that he engraved his fears and regret towards his parents in the darkest and the deepest place of his heart. He had always this fear towards losing his only family, and only friend… they were the only few people who eased these feelings and gave him strength and self-confidence… yet, in the trip to the Swan Lake, he saw his small world collapsing one by one.. The departure of Sam, and the vanishing of Lu Di… the problems of the Ackman group, the attacks of media, and the investors who started leaving the group one by one. The only one who stood side by side with him was that person.. and a small letter with few words left by Lu Di… that's why the words Amie said to Ka Di on the beach slapped his heart and felt the need to re-engrave his fears again and start focusing on saving the small world he has rebuild during the last 13 years. Amie's words were the opposite on Lu Di's … different …as much as the difference between Lu Di and Amie's physical appearances … yet, for some reason, and to some extents... Ka Di had the same feeling he had during the six month with Lu Di during the schooldays when being open to Amie… that kind of feeling, although it was harsh at the beginning, but became tender stoplessly… a feeling he couldn't recognize or categorize with Lu Di at that time … but still wants to uncover it now with Amie…!

Scene 31: where Amie and Si Da are enclosed

When Amie stood to wake up the Ackman's princess Si Da, she smiled to her, and Si Da was questioning whether this smile is a sign of their salvation or their death. Yet, Si Da felt a weird happiness tickling her heart once she looked at her face. She made it clear to herself, that no matter what, she will trust this girl.. Contrary to Lu Di, Amie gives her more hope, more confidence and more tender…Not long later, one of the man flied over the door of the warehouse and all the men standing inside the warehouse stood alarmed…

"Who's there?" Asked the head of the gangsters!!!

Upon the wreck of door stood a man covering his face. It was clear that he was rich considering the suit, the watch, the shoes he's wearing… not only that!! His actions when wiping away the man's leftovers on his suit … the suit was the same of the man who hang off the phone and was listening to the woman speaking in the car.

Amie, when seeing him, turned towards Si Da, untied her from the chair and stood in front of her; "he finally arrived" she murmured.

"do you have any Kerchief with you? A long one!! She asked Si Da!!

Si Da took a long scarf she used on her dress and Amie tied it on her waist, she holds her hand strongly "stay behind me, and never get away!! I won't be able to help you if you do anything wrong"

Si Da stood firmly: I will follow your commands, do not worry!!

Amie softly smiled to her "good girl!!"

The man covering his face attacked the gangsters… he was strong, fearless… Intrepid... Si Da was looking mesmerized and fascinated by his quick moves, and his everything. She stood looking at him and focusing with all her attention until she woke up by the man coming from her back… he tried to pull her from her hair, but Amie quickly hit him and protected her.. Her moves were fast, but not faster as the time where she fought with Ka Di; "stay focused I told you" she addressed her words to Si Da!!..

I am sorry!! Si Da replied.

At this moment three other men came to support the first one… Si Da was scared but Amie pat on her hand telling her not to worry. The man said that he was sure that she wasn't the women they sent... and this means that the phone signal he received from this warehouse was true.

Amie: you are slower to understand all this now!! You are stupid as ever!!

The man got the wind up as hearing the word ever!! "Do you know me?" He added!!

"It's too late to ask questions when you have already lost" she attacks him and takes him down in few seconds; but before he passes away he arduously said "you will pay for this!!". The other men attacked her at once… but the man covering his face come to help.. "You're late!" Amie said. The man stopped fighting and when holding one of the gangsters he said: "you should apologize first for dragging me to this mess"!!

Amie sarcastically laughed " Eww!!! I thought you were eager to be part of this!!" she carries on fighting.

"himm! I thought you would say this!! Actually, I was eager to meet you face to face"..

Si Da was looking at the two: do you know each other? She asked.

Amie explained that he is one of two men who will help them flee from here. And kept fighting the rest of the men taking down one behind the other… her strength seemed at her utmost… it was only Si Da who saw the fight between Ka Di and Amie who knew that something is wrong with her.. her pale face!! Her breath.. and so many others signs show that Amie is not alright. She hurriedly pointed out this to the man asking him to help her: "Mr. X help Amie" she said. The man then took his phone rapidly and wrote a message. Few minutes later, they finished the men in the warehouse, then they tried to sneak out of it through the courtyard outside the warehouse; Si Da was surprised to see some other men with suits fighting some gangsters. It was like a battle as those she sees in movies… It was the first time she sees such scene. "will there be guns here also!!" she asked…Amie was holding her hand, and never left it.. her hand was warm, and made Si Da feel more at ease. The man covering his face said that this hideout is not protected by many man, and this is making him feeling uncomfortable.

Amie looks around, and then asked "what time is it now?". "it 1 p.m." he answered.

Amie sobered up, and said to hurry up and leave "Call your men to withdraw"…

The man wondered why.

"They are out for hunt.. they will be here around 1.30… if we are lucky enough, we will be able to be saved before they come back" Amie answered.

"hunt?" everyone asked!

"These people's hunting is different from other peoples' hunt… these people do not go after birds, rabbits or anything to eat!! They are after things you can't imagine" Amie explained shortly.. she didn't add a word as she believes the deepest knowledge they have about this matter, there will be more danger in the future; that's why she avoids telling more than needed. Although the cold personality of Amie, everyone around could see a soft or a good side in her… this was enough for them to trust her momentarily. Yet, this trust might disappear? Or will be maintained in the future? It is all up to what is going to come in the future… on their way to uncover the truth, trust is indispensable… but this trust is hard to be built!!!
