Will You...?

Brian had stayed up a long time the night before. Staring up at the ceiling and thinking, coming up with a plan. It was around 3 when he had finally fallen asleep, ready for the next evening.

He stepped out of his, soon to be, his and Elise's closet, in a dark navy-blue suit, with a black collared shirt and tie. The ring sat in his left pocket. Brian stepped into the bathroom, leaning against the doorframe, watching with a warm smile as Elise fluffed out her hair and stepped back to check her outfit and makeup.

"You look gorgeous," Brian murmured softly.

She was wearing a light blue Coralie fit and flare dress, with a large bow tied over her right hip. She glanced over at him with a warm smile. "Thank you, you look very dapper yourself."

When they stepped into the kitchen Brian stepped over to the counter, sitting on it was bubbly rosé, the same one Elise had the first time she had come over to his apartment.
