"Are you sure?" Elise asked Thursday night after the trial. "You have been pacing around this apartment waiting to go back to work."

"Waiting to go back and work a case, not do paperwork. I have been doing CEO work for two months now, I am bored of meetings and phone calls and paperwork. I want to do the real work now."

"For me? Yeah, it is," Brian said leaning back against the couch. "Stay home with me. We can sleep in, go get brunch and then pick up my father from the airport."

"So, Ian and the kids can be stranded there?" Elise asked.

"No, course not, Matthew will pick them up, Esme loves riding in that limo," Brian said with a warm smile.

"I don't know Brian — I have missed a lot of work these last five months."
