Chapter Ten

It have been three weeks since Natsuo outburst and him storming out the house. Three weeks since Fuyumi and Shoto scolded the living hell out of him when they had find out where he went to, but Natsuo could care less about what they think about the whole situation any way. He doesn't see why Fuyumi and Shoto wanted to waste their time trying to hear Enji dumb ass reason for ignoring them and thinking that he actually change.

'I don't know why they both care so much anyway, it's not like whatever the asshole had to say was important in the first place..' Natsuo thought to himself as he is laying down in his bed at his college dorms, and scroll through social media on his phone.

Besides Natsuo have better things to do instead of wasting his time with Enji. He lay there on his bed for a few minutes until he finally decided to do something.

"The fuck is there for me to do today...?" Natsuo asked himself, he didn't have to take any exams today because he was exempted from all his classes.

He didn't want to go home and somehow run into Enji, and Natsuo did not want to have any type of conversation with him.

'Maybe I can go see mom today to help clear my mind...' Natsuo thought to himself as he sat up from off the bed if there's anyone that can understand him or help clear his head it's Rei.

For as long as he could remember Rei has always been there for him. Since Enji was too busy to spend time with him most of the time other times when Enji tried to spend time with him, Natsuo would just ignore him and go wherever Rei was at. For as far as Natsuo knows Rei never did anything wrong when he was young and if she did it would be because of Enji.

'That fucking selfish good for nothing bastrad....' He thought to himself angrily, Natsuo felt a sour taste in his mouth just by thinking about it. Natsuo got out of bed, got dressed and then put on his shoes. He made sure to grab his phone and keys to his dorm room and car he got a few months ago.

He walked out his dorm room and locked the door. He'll text his roommate later to let him know where he is going. He walked out the dorms and began to walk off campus to go to the student parking lot.

'I fucking hate how far the damn student parking lot is..' Natsuo thought to himself, feeling tired already from walking from the dorms to the student parking lot.

Once he finally made it to the parking lot he walked down the second row until he saw his white hellcat. The same hellcat that he bought online behind Enji's back with his credit card. It's not like Enji noticed that Natsuo bought it or not and if he did, Natsuo couldn't care less about what Enji thinks. He unlocked his car door, opened it and got inside once he did he put the key in the engine and started the car. Natsuo closed the car door, put on his seatbelt and began to pull out of the student parking lot. He began driving his way to Fujiya Hospital to go see Rei, he didn't play any music since he did not see any point in doing so.

'I can't wait to see mom again...' Natsuo thought happily as he was getting closer to the hospital.

Once he made it to the hospital Natsuo drove towards the visitor parking lot. After riding around the parking lot for a while he finally found a free parking spot. Once Natsuo parked the car he turned off the engine and opened the door to get out. He closes the door behind him and makes sure that he locks all the doors. Natsuo walks towards the hospital entrance, he walks inside the hospital and goes towards the front desk. He signed his name on the visitor form and headed towards the elevator. He waited a while until the elevator doors opened, and when it did he got inside and pressed the button to the third floor.

'I wonder if mom needs any nice flowers or flower vases...' Natsuo thought as he lightly tapped his feet while listening to the cringey elevator music.

*DING*

The elevator dings as the doors open, Natsuo walks out of the elevator and heads to Rei room.

'Come on come where is it? Oh here it is room 217..' Natsuo thought as he walked down the hall and found Rei's room number.

He gets in front of the door and begins to knock on the door. "Come in!." He heard Rei yelled softly on the other side of the door.

Natsuo opens the door and sees Rei on her bed reading some book that he did not see the name of. "Natsuo? I thought that you had to take your semester exams this week.." Rei said as she looked at him surprised.

Natsuo grinned slightly, almost forgetting why he came to visit in the first place. "I was exempt from all of my exams so I decided to come and see you." He said not lying to her but not telling the truth to her as in why he came over to visit.

Rei looked him dead in the eye and raised a brow at him feeling that he didn't tell her everything. "Is that all the reason why you came to visit? Natsuo it's okay I'm your mother you don't have to hide anything from me." She stated knowing that there is another reason why Natsuo came to visit.

Natsuo sighed loudly, knowing that he couldn't get anything past Rei. "Alright, Alright you got I actually came to see you to help clear my mind about what happened yesterday.." He said slowly, feeling his anger come back to him just thinking about what happened yesterday.

Rei looked at Natsuo in confusion wondering what could have happened that could make him so upset.

"What happen yesterday Natsuo?" She asked him. Natsuo sat down on the edge of Rei's bed wondering where he should start.

"Well Enji decided to text Yumi to see if we all can come over to talk about why the hell he has been avoiding us and her and Shoto just sat there and pity the bastard. Not only that but they also were standing up for him and taking his side!" He explained to her twitching his eye in annoyance.

"It's like they just completely forgot what all the shit he did to all of us!" He continued to rant to Rei, it caught her attention when she realized that Natsuo still put all the blame on Enji.

Well if she's being honest she is the one to blame for why Natsuo is still blaming Enji. "Maybe they're just trying to forgive him and get close to him." Rei explained to him, but already knowing that it won't change Natsuo mind nonetheless.

But she doesn't have no one but herself to blame for this one. "Why should I forgive him?! He's the reason why you are in here in the first place and the reason why Shoto got that damn scar!" Natsuo complained, still holding a grudge, about what Enji did well and what Rei wanted him to believe.

Rei never told anyone the true reason why Shoto got that scar, or why she is in here at all. If she's being honest everything that people believe is a lie. Shoto only got that scar only for her to see Enji more hurt after Touya was announced dead of course Enji never believed that Touya was dead and still went looking for him he even left letters in Touya's drawer hoping that he'll read it. And Rei hated every bit of it, sure she always gaslighted him every chance she got but it was only because she hated how Enji was never thankful for anything. She only met his father once and that was for the arranged marriage for the two. But after that she never met him again and every time she asks Enji about meeting Valk again he'll always change the subject. To her Enji never appreciates anything Valk does for him and not only that he's always trying to fix everything.

Sure there's a lot of things that Rei doesn't know about Enji but it never came to cross her to know him in the first place. She also never told anyone the real reason why she's in the hospital. The truth is it was because she never took her medicine even after Shoto no longer needed to be breastfed. Enji tries to get her to take her medication but it never ends well. Then there's the lie that everyone believes that Enji abuses her but the truth be told Enji only hit her once in front of Shoto and that was the last time he ever hit her. He did apologize but at that time she just wanted to see Enji suffer. Sometimes Rei feels like there's still a little piece of her that wants to see Enji suffer more. She let out a soft sigh realizing there is a lot of stuff she did and made Enji get all the blame for it.

"Natsuo I know it's hard for you to forgive him but you have to at least try to even if it means to actually have a conversation with him.." Rei said to him already knowing that Natsuo probably won't change his mind about Enji nor try to talk to him.

Natsuo ran his fingers through his hair and sighed knowing that he had no other choice. "Alright I'll try but only for you mom." He said and this caused Rei to smile softly. Maybe he can forgive Enji and everything will turn out okay or that's what Rei wants to keep telling herself.

Shoto, Katsuki, and Izuku walked out of the cafe with drinks in their hands. They decided to go there after they were done looking in Enji's office room. So far they know that Enji wasn't born in Japan but in Russia which means that Shoto isn't fully Japanese. Everything else was in Russian so they couldn't read it but what got them the most is that the only thing they could find and actually read was Enji's birth certificate which means that someone else has the original copy for the birth certificate. Izuku found a lot of notebooks but it was written in Russian so the only one that the notebooks say is Enji. So Shoto took pictures of all of them and tried to translate them later. But that still doesn't give enough information that they need.

"Oi how about we head to Endeavor's agency to see if we can find anything there." Katsuki suggested there have to be some type of information that they could find to help them.

"Good idea Kacchan! Maybe there could be something in his office there that could help us." Izuku said before he took another sip of his strawberry smoothie.

Shoto hums agreeing with both of them and since there's a chance that Enji won't be there it's a risk they're willing to take.

"Alright let's head there now." Shoto said as they all began to walk to the agency luckily for them the agency isn't that far from the cafe. But little did they know what would await them.

Once they made it towards the door they all walked in and threw away their now empty cups in the nearest trash bin. It's a good thing that there aren't many sidekicks here today, otherwise they would be asked hundreds of questions mostly from Burnin. They took the elevator not wanting to take the stairs since Enji's office is on the top floor.

'Why the hell did he pick the highest floor out of all of them for his office.' The three boys thought to themselves. Once they get in Shoto press the button to take them to the floor where Enji office is.

They were standing in the elevator while soft music was playing in the background, none cared to listen to it, their mind was wandering in other places.

'Will we even find anything in his office??' They all thought to themselves.

*DING*

When the elevator dinged they all walked out of the elevator and headed towards the direction of Enji's office. When they made it to Enji's office before Katsuki could open the door it was already open by none other than Valk.

'Who the fuck is that??' Shoto thought to himself he had never met nor seen this man in his life.

It caught the three boys off guard to see Valk walk out of Enji office.

"Oh hello you must be Enji's interns." Valk said already knows who they all are but they don't need to know that.

He held his hand from them to shake but the only to shake his hand was Katsuki showing a little respect, Enji did tell him he needed to work on being polite. Shoto and Izuku on the other had bad feelings about him but they couldn't quite understand why though.

"Umm nice to meet you??" Katsuki said, sounding more like a question since he does not not know what to do in this situation there is something about Valk that rubs him the wrong way.

When Valk let go of Katsuki's hand he noticed that he put his hand pocket. He put on a fake smile that did not go unnoticed by the three UA students.

"Where are my manners? My name is Valk Smirnov, nice to meet you all." He said holding a composer of being nice as he knows why they are here.

When Shoto, Izuku, and Katsuki heard his surname they all hid the surprise look on their faces.

"S-sorry Mr. Smirnov, we thought Endeavor was here and we needed to ask him something." Izuku said as he stuttered a little while lying to Valk, feeling an awkward tension between the four of them.

Valk kept smiling, not showing them how annoyed he was when Izuku stuttered. 'That worthless bitch didn't think about fixing this brat stuttering??' He thought to himself.

"Well tell me what you needed to tell him, I'll make sure to tell Enji." Valk said lying to them not really to tell Enji that he ran into nor tell him what they needed to tell him.

Shoto didn't believe him not one bit and wanted them to hurry up and leave. "There's no need really,we should go and head back to the dorms." Shoto said and Katsuki and Izuku caught on to what Shoto was doing and went along with it.

"Yeah we should be going to dorms and have a group study that's starting soon." Katsuki stated not wanting to stay there any longer with Valk.

Valk clearly knew that they were lying but decided to go along with it for now.

"Well nice meeting you boys." He said as he saw them hurrying up to the elevator.

"You to sir!" Izuku said loud enough for Valk to hear.

When saw them walk inside the elevator and see the doors close he dropped the smile on his face. He closes Enji's office door and decides to take the stairs not wanting to wait on the elevator. As for the boys they hurried up and left the agency without a word. They don't know who Valk was or why he was in Enji's office but they do know one thing and that was to get the hell out of there. Once they got a good enough distance away from the agency they decided to go back to Shoto place. Guessing that Enji probably is already home, Shoto opens the door quietly and inside along with Izuku and Katsuki. Katsuki closes the door right behind him softly. Seeing that they were right after seeing Enji's shoes neatly together they all took off their shoes holding them and tipped toe to Shoto's room. Smelling something sweet in the air, they assumed that Enji was in the kitchen. Tip toeing past the kitchen making sure that Enji don't see them. Once they made it inside Shoto's room, Izuku closed the door as Shoto flopped on the bed, sighing deeply running his fingers through his hair. Katsuki sat next to him as Izuku sat on the other side. None of them said a word for a couple of minutes it wasn't until Katsuki decided to break the silence.

"Who the fuck was that and why was he in your dad's office?" He asked Shoto, Izuku was wondering the same thing.

"I have no fucking clue but whoever he is I don't trust him." Shoto said as he was playing what happened in his mind.

He wanted to know how Enji knew him and how the hell Valk got into the agency without being questioned.

*SLAM*

They jolted when they heard the front door slam open and shut. They all walked out the room and hid in the nearest closet close to the kitchen.

"D-dad? What are you doing here?" Enji asked to be caught off guard seeing Valk in his house and forgetting that he had a spare house key but he was also terrified.

Katsuki and Izuku were surprised when they saw this and looked at Shoto who was more surprised than both of them. His eyes widened in shock. He never heard Enji stutter or that Enji's dad was alive; he always thought that he was dead or something.

'Why would my grandfather be here now for all the reasons and why does dad sound so scared of him??' Shoto thought to himself, being more confused than shocked.

But that's not what shocked them the most in was the other voice that did. "So this is where you have been instead of being at your office." Valk said feeling more irritated than he already was after running into Shoto, Izuku, and Katsuki.

'That's his dad?!' They all were thinking at the same time. The boys stayed hiding in the closet all having mixed emotions. They didn't want to get their cover blown so they stayed in there but they soon regretted that decision.
