Chapter 7 : Talents

Felix stood in front of his bed in a daze as he clenched and unclenched his fist. His entire body was filled with energy,all the pain he had been feeling disappeared.

His injuries, both inside and out, had miraculously healed. The system have healed him completely.

Despite looking a bit malnourished and skinny, he no longer resembled someone who had been beaten up.

The only thing bothering Felix now was the rumbling of his empty stomach. He snapped out of his daze and grabbed a bowl of rice and veggies, devouring it hungrily. He hadn't eaten since yesterday, so the taste didn't really matter to him.

As he was engrossed in his meal, the door creaked open, and he saw a little girl peeking in.

A big pair of clear and beautiful eyes looked at Felix with curiosity. Felix glanced at the little girl about four years old peeking into his room in surprise.

" Big brother Felix " the little girl opened her mouth called out to Felix in a cute voice.

Felix smiled brightly as he looked at the little girl, this little girl is Una, she is extremely attached to the previous Felix and the previous Felix deeply loved this cute little girl as she was the first child he rescued from the streets.

" Come in Una " Felix smiled and waved his to Una at the door.

Una little face lit up as she smiled brightly and immediately skipped towards Felix.

He picked her up and placed her on his lap, admiring her porcelain doll-like features. Una had a cute little mouth, big blue eyes, chubby cheeks, and snow-white skin.

"Una, what are you doing here?" Felix asked with a smile, ruffling her blue hair.

"I came to see if big brother is doing well," Una said with a pout.

Felix smiled, feeling a warm current surge in his heart.

"Don't worry, big brother is completely fine. Look," Felix said, trying to show off his biceps, but only skin and bones were shown. Felix's lips twitched as he looked at his skinny arm.

"Big brother, there is muscle on your arm," Una said with a giggle.

Felix's eyes twitched when he heard Una.

"Ahem," Felix coughed to hide his embarrassment.

"Una, you dare to laugh at big brother? Let's see how I'll punish you," Felix pretended to be angry and started tickling Una.

Una immediately burst into laughter, twisting her little body in Felix's embrace.

"Haha! Big brother, Una is ticklish," Una said between laughter.

"If you dare to laugh at big brother, big brother will punish you," Felix teased.

Felix continued to tickle Una for a few minutes, enjoying the feeling of playing. In his childhood, he had never played with other kids before, so he really liked this feeling.

After a few minutes, both Felix and Una lay on the bed panting, especially Una, whose cute little face was flushed red as she breathed heavily.

"Una, let's go out and play with the others," Felix suddenly said.

Una raised her little head with excitement. "Really, big brother? You're going to play with us?"

"Mhmm," Felix nodded with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm going to tell the others," Una said, jumping from his embrace and quickly running out of the room while shouting in a cute voice.

"Delphine! Thea! Lela! Zoe! Mike! Leon, Costa, everyone come out! Big brother said he wants to play with us!"

Listening to Una loud voice, Felix smile and shook his head and made his way out of the room.

Felix stepped out of his room and stood in front of it, closing his eyes. He took a deep breath and slowly opened his eyes, squinting at the huge sun hanging high in the sky.

Taking his gaze away from the sun, Felix looked around and noticed a well a few meters away. He quickly made his way to the well and drew a bucket of water to wash his face.

As he looked at his reflection in the clear water, Felix was satisfied with his appearance. He wasn't ugly, but very handsome. He had short silvery white hair and deep silver eyes, with a perfect jawline and face. However, his pale and malnourished appearance somewhat reduced his charm. With a satisfied smile, Felix washed his face with the cold water and felt refreshed.

Suddenly, hurried footsteps and the chattering of children's voices sounded behind him. Turning around, Felix saw a group of children with Una in front rushing towards him. In no time, Felix was surrounded by eight children - five little girls including Una and three boys, all between the ages of 4 to 9.

"Big brother Felix, Una said you are going to play with us?" a little girl with short black hair tugged at Felix's clothes.

"Yes, big brother Felix, you haven't played with us for a long time now," a little boy said with a pout.

"Yeah, big brother Felix, you have to play with us today," another little girl chimed in.

"Yeah, big sister Gwendolyn is not here to stop us," a tall boy, the oldest among them, added.

"Please," all of them looked at Felix with pleading eyes.

Felix was overwhelmed with all the children clamoring together to play. "Ok, ok, I'll play with you guys today," he said.

"Yeah!!!" all the children cheered.

"Big brother Felix, what are we going to play?" Una tugged at Felix's clothes, her blue eyes shining.

Looking at Una expectant eyes, Felix laughed and said," Children today we are going to play the princess and the dragon ".

As the sun began to set, Trinity, Gwendolyn, and Nixie were walking towards Felix's house. Coincidentally, Zephyr and Brixton met them at an intersection in front of the house. They all smiled at each other before heading inside.

Suddenly, a voice shouted, "Ahhh! The monster is coming! Costa, quickly kill it with your sword!"

Another voice chimed in, "Don't worry, princess, I'm coming to rescue you."

Trinity, Zephyr, and the others' expressions changed drastically as they dashed towards the house. Inside, Felix was lying on the ground with a group of energetic children on top of him.

"Darn, these little devils really have a lot of energy," Felix thought as he panted.

BANG!

The wooden door was kicked open as Zephyr and Brixton rushed in, followed by Trinity, Gwendolyn, and Nixie. They all stood there, speechless, looking at Felix and the children on the floor.

Suddenly, a loud voice shouted, "Big sister Gwendolyn is here!"

Whoosh

With a all the children disappeared in a blink of an eye, leaving Felix speechless.

" Damm what a group of little traitors!" Felix shook his head.

" Big bro, are you injuries alright? Why are playing with the children in your current state " Brixton said as he helped Felix up from the ground.

Brixton voice brought everyone from their speechless state.

" Yeah big bro you know you are currently injured but you are still playing with the children " Nixie grumbled from th side.

" I'm going to teach these children a little lesson " Gwendolyn said with a cold look while rolling her sleeves."

"Okay, you don't have to be so worked up. I'm completely fine, and besides, the children were bored and wanted to play with me," Felix said with a said with a smile.

"Are you really okay?" Trinity asked, concern evident in her golden eyes.

"Yeah, I'm good. You guys don't need to worry," Felix replied with a smile.

"Now that you guys are back, you should go take a bath and prepare some food. I'm hungry," Felix said, looking at everyone.

"Zephyr, Brixton, we'll talk after dinner," Felix said, addressing them specifically.

"Okay, big bro," Zephyr nodded.

As they all walked to their rooms, Felix sighed. "Oh yeah, system, are you there?"

[Ding: At your service, Host], the system's cold voice responded.

"Since you can detect my talents, can you scan and see if you can detect the talents of Zephyr and the others?" Felix asked curiously.

[Ding: Affirmative, Host. The system can detect the talents of others], the system replied.

"Then hurry up and scan their talents," Felix urged excitedly.

[ Host, the System is the Business Empire System, not the Talent Scanning System ] the system said unhappily.

"Just shut up and do it," Felix growled in a low voice.

[Ding: Scanning Complete], the system notification rang as the blue holographic screen appeared in front of Felix's eyes, but this time the interface was different.

Felix quickly glanced at the screen.
