Chapter 6 : Business Empire System

"Ding! A compatible host has been found," the cold voice once again rang in Felix's mind. He jumped to his feet with wide eyes, almost popping out of their sockets.

"Who is it? Come out!" Felix shouted in a trembling voice.

[ Ding! System is being bound to the host ]

[ 40%... ]

[ 60%... ]

[ 80%...]

[ 99%...]

[ Ding : The Business Empire System has been successfully bound to the host ] the voice continued to echo in Felix's head.

Felix was in a daze as the cold and emotionless voice kept ringing in his head.

"It seems the voice is coming from my head," Felix thought with a trembling heart.

"Who are you?" Felix took a deep breath and asked.

[ Ding : Host, I am The Business Empire System ] the voice replied.

"The Business Empire System," Felix muttered silently. "And how did you get into my head?"

[ Ding : Host, the system has already been bound to you in your previous life on Earth ] the system explained.

"What the heck! If you were bound to me in my previous life, why didn't I notice you?" Felix was dumbfounded,his jaw almost dropping to the ground.

[ Ding : According to the system regulation, the host must meet a certain condition before the system can be activated ] the voice continued.

"And what is the condition?" Felix asked.

[ Ding : The condition is for the host to die ] the voice revealed.

"What the hell! What do you mean I had to die before the condition can be met?" Felix yelled and cursed angrily.

"Wait a minute, you weren't the one who killed me, right?" Felix suddenly asked.

[ Ding : Negative, host. The system didn't kill you. It was by coincidence that you died in the plane explosion ] the voice clarified.

"What if I didn't travel to this world? Wouldn't I have died completely?" Felix shouted with a red face.

[ At least the host didn't die. Look on the bright side - you're still alive and kicking. Why are you complaining like a little girl? ] Suddenly, the system's cold voice changed to one of disdain.

"Holy crap, how can you say that? Are you even listening to yourself? Damn, what's with that change of tone?" Felix shouted.

Felix took a deep breath to calm his racing heart. This system is really something else. "Okay system, tell me who you are and what your functions are," Felix said as he sat down on the hard wooden bed.

Standing up abruptly had worsened his injuries, causing the pain that had slightly subsided to once again rack his body.

[ Ding: Host, I told you before, I am the Business Empire System and my main function is to assist the Host in building the strongest business empire in this world ] the system replied in its cold and emotionless tone.

Felix nodded, understanding the system's main function. "Okay, go on," he said.

[ Ding: Host must know that there are many industries in the business world, each industry is huge and very profitable. The main mission of the Host is to develop in every industry, you must bring every industry to its peak ] the system explained.

Felix nodded in understanding. According to the system, he must bring every industry in the business world to its peak in this world.

"Wait a minute, system. How am I supposed to be involved in every industry? There are hundreds of industries back on Earth. Do you expect me to get involved in each and every one of them?" Felix asked in bewilderment.

Back on Earth, there were hundreds industries covering every aspect of human life. For instance, there was the Food and Beverage Industry, Hotel Industry, Catering Industry, Automotive Industry, Entertainment and Media Industry, Fashion and Cosmetic Industry, Arms Industry, Shipbuilding Industry, Textile Industry, Mass Media Industry, Real Estate Industry, Transport Industry, Agriculture Industry, and many more. There were simply too many, even in his previous life, the number of industries he was involved in could not exceed twenty.

"And besides, this world is different from Earth. Not all industries are suitable for this world," Felix added.

Seeing that the system was not replying, Felix shook his head.

"Ok, let me draw the lottery quickly," Felix impatiently said.

A light blue floating holographic screen appeared in front of Felix's eyes. Felix looked at the floating holographic screen in amazement.

"System, is this holographic screen some kind of future black technology?" Felix asked in awe.

The system didn't bother to reply and kept quiet.

Felix rolled his eyes when the system didn't reply to him.

Felix shifted his focus back to the holographic screen displaying his status in the Business Empire System.

Realization dawned on Felix. "So, my talents in both Knight and Mage Cultivation are very high?" he exclaimed with a mix of shock and excitement.

The system confirmed, "[Ding: Yes, Host. If you cultivate in both paths, you can reach the Forbidden Realm in both Cultivation paths.]"

Feeling a surge of excitement, Felix couldn't help but think, "Am I really that badass?"

Felix nodded understanding the functions of the system.

[ Ding : Host do you have any other questions for now? ] The system asked.

" No " Felix shook his head.

[ Oh, and Host, just casually chat with me in your head. No need to worry about looking like a lunatic to others ] the system cold and emotionless tone changed as it said sarcastically.

"Ugh, this system is so arrogant, daring to mock its master," Felix muttered as he clenched his fist in frustration.

"Is that all, system?" he asked, unclenching his fist.

"No, I think you forgot something," Felix said, narrowing his eyes.

[ No, Host, I don't think I forgot anything ] the system replied.

"You must have forgotten, check your database," Felix insisted.

[ No, Host, I don't think I've forgotten anything ] the system replied, sounding puzzled.

"What do you mean you haven't forgotten anything? Where the f**ck is my newbie gift package!?" Felix roared.

[ Oh, you're talking about that. Sorry, Host, there is no newbie gift package for you ] the system replied mockingly.

"What do you mean I don't have a newbie gift package? You must have stolen it, give it back!" Felix shouted in frustration.

[ No, Host, the system didn't steal anything. Please don't slander me. There is no newbie gift package, and that's it ] the system said unhappily.

"Dammit, what a broken system," Felix cursed under his breath.
