MEETING HER 2

"Hello, miss " she woman said waving at my face, I just stood there staring at her like I saw a ghost.

"Am so sorry I was carried away, the beauty of the environment is good "I finally said.

"It okay, that also happen to me the environment is stunning"she said with a small smile.

"I will be on my way then" I said with a smile that didn't reach my eye. She till looks the same, it been 20years but her memory and the pain she caused me is still fresh like it was yesterday that everything happened. But am no longer the helpless 4yrs old girl she left for her abusive husband, and neither am I ready to go back to the past, she made her decision back then now is my turn.

"Hey we have been waiting for you, is everything okay" ken asked appearing in front of me from nowhere.

"Am fine "I replied

"Are you sure because I have been standing in front of you for a while now and you did not even notice"

"Is nothing, let's go inside" I said as we both left.

Well just as the lady from the interview promised we got the position we wanted but we also have to put our life at risk. According to Mr Michael he said he has a lot of enemies that will want nothing more than to harm him, but since he was very difficult to get they target his family instead.

I know right, just like us they are other people who are after his life too. But at least we don't want him dead we just need him to provide us with answers. We had a private meeting with him where he told us he loved our skills and he is entrusting the safety of his wife and son in our hand, which we promised we will do our best in keeping his family safe.

"Its a good thing we got what we wanted"Lisa commented when we were heading out.

"Yes it is "I replied looking at mark who have been quiet the whole day.

"Mark can I speak to you, in private" Lisa said to mark as she left and mark followed

"Do you have any idea what is going on between these two "I asked Bella

"Nope I have no idea " she said

"So what's our next step from here " I asked her again not knowing what we are supposed to do again.

"Nothing much, we have to meet with uncle and discuss some certain things with him before we decide when to start the work " she replied .

"Okay " I said looking at her, she seems so out of herself lately.

What do she have to say this time around, I have been trying my best to behave.

"Hey am sorry about earlier, I was insane back then and I have deleted the video. I promise I will not react to much about you talking too much again " she said before giving me the camera she was hiding earlier.

"Apology not accepted "I said turning the camera on without her knowing and told her to apologize again. She frowned her face and apologized again, is payback time I said to myself, I made her apologized three times.

"Apology still not accepted " I said with a straight face.

"What but this is the third time, what else am I suppose to do " she asked looking very frustrated.

I could not hold myself again and i started laughing, that took her by surprise and it also took her some moment to notice that the camera was on.

"You!!!!, am going to kill you if you do not delete that " she said looking very furious.

"Why don't you try reaching it then" I said raising my hand up and putting it above my head.

"Are you daring me "she asked with a wicked smile

"Yes I am "I said giving her the same smile

I was caught off balance when Lisa jumped on top of me, with her legs around my waist and her hands around my neck before she tried reaching for the camera.

"Yes I got it "she said immediately she was able to get the camera and then she look down bring her face close to mine, our face was so close to each other that I can feel her breath on my face.

I stared at her beautiful face and shifted my glace to her lips, I was having this urge to close the space between us.

Is he going to kiss me, why is he staring at me like that, I thought as the both of us were staring at each other. But was disappointed when he spoke instead.

"I never knew you are a monkey "he said trying to hold back the laugh

"No am not, you were the one that dared me to get the camera " I said as I immediately climbed down from his body.

"Are you sure because that is what it look like a while ago " he said as he was giggling. My faced turned shade of red from embarrassment, my heart was beating fast.

"We better get going we don't want to keep ken and Bella waiting.

"Let's go back to the hotel and grab our stuff before heading home "Bella said immediately mark and Lisa returned.

It did not take us up to 30 minutes to get our belongings before we left to Mr Smiths mansion.

When we arrived Mr Smiths was said to have left for an urgent meeting and he is not yet back, so we all head to our rooms to have a quick bath and come down for dinner why we wait for Mr Smiths.

Bella was the first to leave, I just stared at her as she disappeared.

"Ken did something happen, sis is too moody " Lisa asked me

"I don't know, I just saw her like this and she will not say a word to me " I said

"She is always moody, I just which she will let things go a little and also learn how to talk like me because that will help her a lot "mark said.

"Mark nobody wish to have a sharp mouth like you so please don't wish that for her " I said when I could not picture Bella talking nonstop like mark. Lisa only sighed "I will try talking to her, see you guys later "she said before she left too.

"Mark stop staring at her like that, let's go" I said to mark who was busy staring at Lisa like she is a goddess.

It was time for dinner, we all were seated except for Mr Smiths and Bella. I decided to ask Lisa about her. " Lisa why is Bella not here"

"She said she is not hungry but I sent some food to her room, let's just hope she will try and eat something "she replied before she started eating.

"Were you able to discover what was bothering her "I asked because of the curiosity .

"Not really she did not really want to talk about it " she said

"Okay "I simply replied and started eating.

"Well ken, why don't you check on her later and see how she is doing "mark suggested and Lisa nodded in agreement

"Okay I will check on her immediately after dinner " I replied as I let my mind be filled with nothing but the thought of Bella.
