Autumn festival lll

Li Jie smirked at his words and gazed at the seal in his hand, weng Lie suddenly realized his plan, he totally forgot about Li Jie's hidden powers.

The seal freed itself from weng Lie's hand and went straight to Li Jie who caught it in his hand.

"Thanks for keeping it safe for me, now it's my turn to return the favour." he was ready to punish weng Lie so bad but he was going to do it slowly.

Weng Lie was out of ideas and grabbed unto his swords. "How about we fight man to man, with weapons. only cowards use their powers."

Li Jie formed a knife using his water element turning it to ice untill it became silver, the blades sparkled to the end indicating how sharp it was.

"I'm all ready."

Weng Lie was the first to launch an attack but Li Jie blocked it clashing their swords as only hatred was left between both of them.

They parted and weng Lie striked again, Li Jie dodged it with ease and his sword went through weng Lie's chest giving him a cut, he groaned in pain while Li Jie glared at him.

"You betrayed your own kingdom, so you deserve all of this." he said.

weng Lie suddenly chuckled coldly. "My kingdom you say?, this isn't my kingdom, you've taken it away from me, you've taken everything which should have been mine!!" he raged and slowly got to his feet. "Mother never really planned on making me king but you, she was keeping the throne which should have been mine for you!."

Li Jie grew silent at the news, mother kept the throne for him?!.

"You knew I never wanted the throne, I never did!"

weng Lie scoffed. "Who doesn't want power, becoming King gives you all the power in the world, why wouldn't you want that?!"

Li Jie pointed his sword at him. "It's no use talking to you, you're too power hungry to understand."

weng Lie grabbed his sword holding it even tighter. "Why bother explaining when we can end this!" he charged at Li Jie again who rolled out of the way, weng Lie planned on stepping on him but Li Jie kept rolling out of the way and did a flip getting back on his feet as he rolled in the air and kicked weng Lie right in the face, he fell to the ground but suddenly Chaoxiang appeared in the room with a smirk.

"I knew something was going on here." he said staring right at Li Jie and ignoring weng Lie who was on the floor.

"You've become stronger." he said almost surprised as Li Jie's eyes lit up in anger.

"Chaoxiang!" he sent a force at Chaoxiang's way causing him to burst through the door.

Mei jingjing gasped seeing Chaoxiang burst through weng Lie's room and hitting his back hard on the wall.

Li Jie stepped out, used his powers to rise Chaoxiang up in the air but he only chuckled.

"That's right, give me all you've got!"

Li Jie was only angered by his words and balled his hands into fist closing chaoxiang's windpipe making it hard for him to breathe.

Mei jingjing was ready to rush out not untill the yokai grabbed her hand holding her in place, she struggled to free herself but he won't let go.

"Shhhhhhh princess, don't get in the way."

He dragged her away while she struggled to free herself from him, he took her to a room and locked the door leaving only the both of them as he pushed her unto the bed making her fall on it. she gave a short scream as she fell hard on the bed.

"You always manage to ruin things for the both of us, you've caught my interest since our first meeting."

Mei jingjing balled her hands into fist and got up from the bed. "What do you want from me?"

"I want you." he pushed her back unto the bed and got untop of her as she screamed at the top of her lungs, she rather die than let this beast lay a finger on her.

"Shut your mouth!" he covered her mouth with his palm.

Li Jie who was busy facing Chaoxiang suddenly gasped as he felt something odd.

"Mei jingjing." he whispered her name and left Chaoxiang trying to catch his breath on the floor.

Mei jingjing struggled and suddenly remembered Li Jie's words about self defense, she paused, The yokai smirked thinking she had given up but he wasn't expecting her to kick him at his sensitive spot with her knee, he groaned in pain and got off,

It worked!, Mei jingjing thought and hurriedly got to her feet and rushed for the door but it was bursted open by Li Jie's guards, they heaved a sigh of relief seeing she was alright.

"Chao Xua, Haorang." she felt relieved to see them, she hurried over to them.

"Thank goodness we found you princess, we heard you scream." Chao Xua said with concern and glared at the yokai.

"Haorang, get her to safety." Chao Xua said, they both glanced at him.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"If we all go, he's going to come after us so I'll stay and hold him off."

Mei jingjing shook her head, she wasn't going to agree to that, the water beast will definitely get him killed.

"No Chao Xua, he'll kill you!"

He smiled at her. "At least I'm dieing for a good cause, you have to go now, don't be so worried about me princess or else master Li Jie might be the one to kill me instead." he joked, Chao Xua is always fond of making others smile, for the first time, Haorang gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"Good luck." he said with a smile indicating how proud he was, the yokai got to his feet and Chao Xua locked the door immediately.

"Chao Xua!" Mei jingjing didn't want to leave him but Haorang took her away, the yokai gazed at Chao xua with a smirk.

"Isn't this lovely."

"It is." Chao Xua said pointing his blade at him, the yokai formed his own blade and grinned.

"Let's end this."

The fight began.

Mei jingjing and Haorang kept running untill they spotted Li Jie who was also heading towards him, he was relieved seeing Mei jingjing was alright but she looked sad making him frown as tears swimmed in her eyes.

"What happened?"

She pointed down the path. "Chao Xua is facing the the water beast alone."

"He's what?!" Li Jie was struck by it.

"He did it to buy us more time, you have to go help him." she said already crying, Li Jie glanced at Haorang.

"Take her somewhere safe, Find the prisoners and get them out of Lijiang"

Haorang nodded and took Mei jingjing away. Li Jie sighed, if that stupid yokai hurts his guard, he's going to skin it alive.

Chao Xua still faught the beast although he was already wounded by it but still kept fighting, he was bleeding all over, the yokai tsked.

"Poor thing, won't you give up already, you're no match for me."

Chao Xua forced himself to get back up on his feet. "I..... will not give up, you have to kill me before that happens."

The yokai shrugged. "Very well then." he charged towards Chao Xua but the door was bursted open and Li Jie stepped in, Chao Xua was surprised to see him, so was the yokai.

"Young master." Chao Xua said, Li Jie gazed at his condition and frowned deeply, he averted his deadly glare at the yokai. "No one hurts my guards!"

He sent a fire blast at the yokai which smashed him into the wall, he hurried over to Chao Xua.

"Young master."

"Just do as I say." he got Chao Xua to his feet and gave him the last seal.

"Get out of here now!!"

Chao Xua stared at the seal in surprise. "Master?"

"Hide it somewhere and make sure no one sees you doing it, now go."

Chao Xua nodded and left the room, Li Jie locked the door from inside and gazed at the water beast who slowly got to his feet, Chaoxiang as well as the earth beast showed up, Li Jie knew they were coming which was why he got Chao Xua to get away, they surrounded him leaving him in the middle.

"You're all alone, what makes you think you can defeat all three of us."

Li Jie wasn't intimidated at all and kept a Stern face.

An arrow was shot his way but he caught it and sent it right to the beast who shot him at a corner piercing it'schest with it.

"Those attacks don't work on me."

"But this will." Chaoxiang said and the three beasts launched at him while he stood in the middle with his hands behind him.

Mei jingjing and Haorang sneaked past beasts who moved along the hallway, they got to the dungeon and three beast guards guarded it.

"How do we sneak past them?" Haorang asked, Mei jingjing smiled.

"Leave that to me."

She looked around for stones and picked different tiny stones laying on the ground.

"What do you plan on doing with Stones?" Haorang asked.

"Watch and learn."
