Ding-dong-dong~
The doorbell downstairs rang.
Guan Yongyi had just washed her face, wearing only a sky-blue nightgown, her cheeks flushed and dotted with water droplets, as slow notes drifted from the speaker in the room.
Being alone was truly a blissful thing.
Her body still unsettled by the alcohol, she wobbled towards the entrance in her slippers and was genuinely startled by the figure standing in the surveillance area.
Lu Jincheng?!
The man who had vanished for half an hour reappeared, reaching out to her upon sight.
"What, you're back again?"
Guan Yongyi's eyes widened.
"Here, the band-aid on your hand isn't waterproof, so I went downstairs and bought a new box."
Lu Jincheng looked down at her with a smile playing on his lips.
"That was unnecessary. My hand's already gotten wet."
Guan Yongyi pouted, yet she reached out to accept his kind gesture.
"It's fine. After all, when you wake up tomorrow, you'll still need to wash up."
