Marmot & The Giant Granny

Arvita had thirty minutes before Armand came. She held her notes and continued to memorize what Hidayat had said. She walked back and forth to her superior's office, again and again, to make sure she didn't miss a thing.

Arvita sat back at her desk, staring at the monitor she had just turned on.

"Uhmm..?" She mumbled as she took a deep breath and glanced back at the clock.

It wasn't the first time she had worked as a secretary. But right now, she had a strange feeling. Working with someone he once knew. It's so weird!

Armand, that man became her boss?!

"Oh my...!!!"

Arvita buried her face in her propped hands.

"Hey... shhh..!"

Arvita looked up and saw a woman with round glasses that were too big. Her hair was so short that it didn't touch her chin, with a flat bang that was too straight.

"Hey.. are you okay?" asked the woman, resting her hands on the divider dividing Arvita's desk.

"Me?"

Arvita pointed to herself and looked around that there was no one other than her and the woman.

"Yeah... you..! Is there someone else besides you?" The woman smirked happily, seeing the confused Arvita.

"Armand's new secretary, huh?"

Arvita nodded slowly, and the woman widened her strange smile even more.

"My name is Rosa. I'm from the public relations department." Rosa held out her hand.

"Arvita. You can call me Vita." Arvita returned the handshake,

Suddenly another woman, tall and thin, carrying several piles of blue folders, came to Arvita.

"bugs...."

The pile of blue folders was already on Arvita's desk, almost covering half of her face.

"Uppss... Sorry. Are you guys still talking?" Said the tall woman.

"Hoh... here we go! The giant granny," Rose taunts.

"What do you say, marmot? And.., what are you doing here? Gossiping early in the morning?! If Hulk sees you in here, I'm sure he'll get mad." The tall woman replied.

Arvita noticed the woman did have a very tall body, unlike other women. She was probably almost 180cm tall. Her long hair is slightly curly and neatly tied in a ponytail. Her stature couldn't be said to be slender, too skinny with her towering height.

"Hey, you're Arvita, aren't you?" Said the woman.

"I have some unfinished reports, prehistoric relics from the previous secretary."

"What? Prehistoric reports? What do you mean?" Arvita was confused, and the tall woman chuckled at her reaction.

"Before you came, many secretaries did Mr. Armand run away," The woman started counting her fingers.

"Uhmm, let me count. One, two, three, four! Yes, four of them failed and fired,"

"five, grandma! Are you forgotten about the last secretary? She throws the map in front of the boss. Uh, that's so scary. She's so brave!" Rosa corrected in a huff,

"Ah, I remember her," said the tall woman.

"So... what should I do now?" Arvita asked.

"Don't worry. Today, you don't need to do everything," said the woman, and Arvita could breathe a sigh of relief.

"Because you can finish all reports in three days, right?" She continued, and immediately Arvita looked at her in disbelief.

"What..? Three days? But.., this is so much? And..." Arvita looked at the tall pile of blue folders.

"Calm down. You certainly can do this if there is something you don't understand. Just ask this marmot."

"What! Why me?! You can't do that, giant granny? I'm busy and...." Rosa held her hips, straightening her body as if ready to challenge the tall woman in front of her.

"You don't look busy, huh!" said The woman name Lidya.

"Oh, really? Maybe, I can give all my pending job to you?" Rosa replied in annoyance.

Rosa had to look up because her height was too different from that of Lidya.

"I have a lot of work. How can I help Arvita? You should be the one giving the work. You are the one helping Arvita."

"What work do you do a lot? What you do every day is just gossiping, just stalkers. You bastard, guinea pig!!" Lidya replied.

"HHHhhh... you're like a grandma!"

"Short guinea pig!!!"

"Flagpole...!"

"Fleas jump..."

"Ehemmm..... ahem..... ahem..."

Arvita cleared her throat loudly and loudly, feeling awkward with two women who argued in front of her.

Fortunately, the two people stopped fighting. Rosa immediately turned her body and looked away.

"Wooh...." The tall woman said quietly but annoyed.

"Hhh... Sorry, don't take it to heart. By the way, we haven't met yet. My name is Lidya." Lidya started to introduce herself, her face less tense.

Lydia looked at her watch.

"Unlucky.."

"What's wrong, Lydia?" Arvita asked curiously. Lidya looked back at Arvita in surprise.

"Hulk.." said she loudly.

"Hulk?" Arvita said again.

"Yes, Hulk! Armand is the Hulk in this company. And he must be downstairs. Look! It's already 9 o'clock." Said Lidya, and immediately walked away, leaving Arvita still confused.

HULK?? So.., it means Armand is Hulk?

"Arvita..." Lidya suddenly reappeared.

"Yes, what is up?"

"Keep spirit...." she chirped and left again, leaving Arvita not having time to reply a word.

Arvita looked at the tall pile of blue folders and quickly took the blue folder. And she began to set up her desk and took the glass from her small bag. She noticed her makeup was still neat.

Arvita catches her breath,

"Hhhh...." Arvita smelled the scent of her breath which was still fragrant. She didn't want her first day to be a bad one.

Again, Arvita had a strange feeling, her stomach seemed to twist, and she tried to get her breakfast out.

"Arvita, calm down.." She said to herself.

"Knock...knock..."

The sound of heavy, faintly heard footsteps. Arvita's eyes alternated between the hallway in front of her and the monitor screen nearby.

"Knock...knock..."

The pair of footsteps grew louder and closer. Arvita became tense, her face slightly pale from waiting for her boss to arrive.

The first day was very stressful.

Benjamin Armand Dirk Eugenius, a man with a well-proportioned stature, a flat face, and coldness walked with his steps that looked firm. The cell phone was attached to Armand's ear, and his eyes were only on the road in front of him.

His appearance can be said to be fashionable. A sleek and neat suit, gray with a navy tie. Short haircut with not too much pome.

The man walked like a model. He's walking at a pace that would amaze those who saw him.
