Chapter 1PROLOG - MAD SECRETARY

"YOU!" Arvita pointed angrily at Armand.

"You!! You are the meanest and unfeeling boss I have ever met. Mr. Armand!" Arvita snapped quite loudly.

Arvita was too bold when she said it. She didn't think about what was right or wrong.

Emotions had begun to overwhelm her. Arvita's eyes stared intently at the twenty-nine-year-old man in front of her.

Armand was still silent, and he didn't seem bothered at all, by the shrill voice of the woman who kept screaming incoherently at him.

Armand's gaze was still haughty, looking at a twenty-six-year-old woman. While Arvita was not afraid, she still stood straight with a face ready to challenge.

Arvita gripped her resignation letter too tightly to make the edges of the letter damaged and untidy. Her hands trembled as she placed her resignation letter on her boss's desk.

Armand crossed his arms, lifting his chin slightly. And his mouth was still tightly shut.

Arvita is still holding back her emotions, can even hear the sound of her own breathing.

Now and then, she tries to breathe in the oxygen that is around her. She wished her head could be colder than her itchy hands from wanting to punch the man in front of her.

"So... Do you will quit from your job, Miss Arvita?" Armand asked coldly.

"YES! I have been your secretary for quite a long time. I realize I still have many shortcomings in understanding your way of thinking." Arvita replied and immediately turned around.

Arvita had just walked three steps, she stopped and looked back at Armand.

"One more... Armand!" Arvita said boldly, saying the name of her boss without any "sir" embellishments.

"Hhh..! It turns out that you are not the person I thought you were all this time. I regret knowing you, even becoming a friend."

Arvita walked into the corner of the door. There was something she put when she forced her way into her superior's room.

"And this!" Arvita said, taking a baseball bat that she got after her exciting fight with some thugs, then she looked back at Armand.

"I don't think you need this, do you?!" Arvita said more furiously.

"This little toy is only useful to frighten people weaker than you," said Arvita angrily, after which she deliberately broke the stick. By hitting hard on her right thigh.

Armand lifted his chin, still showing a haughty look, seeing Arvita throwing a broken stick at her. Then his mad secretary just left his study.
