Charming Man

Arvita woke up early in the morning. Her face was too cheerful, making Rohimah - her mother, look at her with a suspicious attitude.

Rojali still enjoys his morning by doing a little sporting activity in the yard.

Early in the morning, Arvita had helped prepare some bread for their breakfast and a few glasses that she had neatly arranged on the dining table.

Rohimah carried a large teapot carefully. She filled it with the tea she had just made. A puff of smoke immediately appeared as she started pouring it into the glass that had been provided.

Arvita sat with her gaze unfocused in the dining room, a smile still on her face. She didn't even realize that the bread sheet was too full of jam and that she had spread too much.

Rojali had just arrived and spread his arms apart. He moves up and sideways, making cooling movements in his way.

Rojali woke up and immediately nudged his wife's elbow. His eyes narrowed at her daughter, who looked strange.

"What's wrong with her?" Rojali whispered in surprise,

"I guess because yesterday afternoon," Rohimah replied, starting to pull up a chair and sitting across from her daughter.

"Uhmm... Arvita?" called her mother, but still, Arvita didn't wake up because her mind was somewhere else.

Again, Rohimah cleared her throat while her husband was still watching carefully.

"So... what do you think about Samudra? Do you like him?" guessed Rohimah and Arvita immediately responded.

"Yes, sure. I like... like... like..." Arvita nodded. But it didn't take long for her to realize her own words,

"Ahh... I mean... he's nice," Arvita again tried to distract her parents.

"Oh Vita... you're like a dumb chicken, you know. It's true...what do people say that love makes us like idiots," Rojali quiped on purpose.

"Dad!! What the hell!! How come you same me as a chicken? If I'm a chicken, what about you? Octopus?" Vita snapped in annoyance

"Well.. I'll be happy if you don't avoid Sam. You're my good daughter, and Sam is the person responsible." Rojali started to give his opinion.

"Don't think too far, Dad. But thank you for your opinion. I really understand. But Sam and I just knew each other first, okay? If it's a mate, perhaps we can be a couple," Arvita replied with a smile.

Arvita glanced at her watch, realizing she had taken too long to finish her breakfast. He got up from his chair and took a few sheets of bread.

"Are you leaving now, Arvita?" Ask Rohimah.

"Yes, mom. I go first, okay?" she said as she said goodbye to her parents.

***

The afternoon before - at the meeting between Arvita and Samudra.

"I didn't think I'd ever see you again," Samudra said.

The bespectacled man was not wearing his glasses. He walked slowly with Arvita, who he had just met.

They were currently in the backyard of Rojali's residence.

"Mee too. I didn't expect to see you again either." Arvita was still blushing and looking embarrassed.

She was often looked down on because she was not confident. The man made her feel so melt.

"But again, I want to thank you for all your help, Sam. I don't know what will happen if you don't come to help me." Arvita flashed her too-wide smile.

"That's fine, Arvita. I'll help you because you have to be helped by the such bastard."

Arvita felt her heart getting bigger, melting like ice cubes scalded with hot water.

"Ohh, how come there is a man this good? He's handsome, kind, and also smart." Arvita's mind said.

"Uhmm, about this matchmaking," Sam said back. Even looking at Arvita and he was immediately stunned.

"I want us to get to know each other first. I think we don't force each other to get married, right?" Sam give his best smile.

Arvita smiled with her lips still tightly closed. She was thinking because Sam's smile was distracting her.

"Married?! As soon as possible? I think no.., but why not?" she thought.

"Yes..!" Arvita replied in a loud voice.

"Yes? Yes, what for?" Sam asked in confusion

"I mean... We have to get to know each other first. Because if we don't know, then we don't love, right? Hehehe..."

**Flashback end**

Arvita arrived earlier than expected, smiling with satisfaction and pride because only she and a few cleaners came.

She's looking at her desk, which she arranged neatly many times. Arvita looked at Armand's office.

The room had a thick partition, even though it was covered in glass. But still, Arvita couldn't peek into the room.

Arvita didn't spend much time just daydreaming, starting to tidy up her desk.

She's going to the pantry to prepare coffee for Armand.

Arvita stares at the coffee machine and starts thinking. What does Armand like to drink?

Black coffee? Or mix it with milk?

Arvita decided to make both. Of course, Armand would choose one of them. The rest will be entirely hers, and Arvita smiled satisfied with her decision.

"Arvita..! Wow, amazing. You got here so early. And it's still eight o'clock." Hidayat suddenly appeared and praised her cheerfully.

"Morning, Mr. Hidayat. Would you like a cup of coffee?" Greet Arvita as well as offer,

Hidayat immediately raised his left hand. There were two black cups he was carrying. And he showed it to Arvita.

"I already have my coffee. This coffee drink is so good, and I have to queue long to get this coffee," said Hidayat proudly.

"Oh... that's a shame. Even though there is a coffee machine here, and you don't have to bother waiting in line," Arvita said earnestly.

"What's that for Armand?" Guess Hidayat looked at the two cups of coffee Arvita had just made,

"Yes, you guessed right," Arvita replied a little arrogantly.

"Mmm... but Armand won't drink it. He prefers what I bring." Hidayat smirked and again showed his luggage.

Arvita slightly pursed her lips, although she still felt irritated when she saw Hidayat was still baring his teeth.

"And don't worry, I'll give you the address where he usually drinks his coffee. Because later this will be your job, Arvita," Hidayat's smile widened.

"And Arvita? If you're not too busy. Please go to Armand's office for a moment, and don't forget to bring some notes. We still have time before 9 o'clock, before our big boss comes," Hidayat explained.

"Mr. Armand's office, sir? But is it okay if..."

"It's okay, Arvita. I have many things to tell you. I hope a lot from you. Armand can be said to be very introverted," Hidayat explained and left Arvita in the pantry room.

Arvita looked at her two cups of coffee, thinking about deciding which one to drink. Alternately her eyes look between one coffee with another coffee.

"Ahh... never mind. I can drink all this coffee and make my eyes open for two days, huh!"

Arvita immediately left the pantry room.

Today she wore long pants and work shoes that were not too high. Her bright pink shirt made her believe that she could be confident in front of Armand.
