Chapter 158: Wolf's den

Just as Cardan promised he took Wren back home with him.

As soon as they arrived home Cardan collapsed on the bed. Wren laughed at his predicament.

"You need a break more then I do" she told him as she moved to take off her dress.

Cardan chuckled as he watched her leave to the bathroom. A sigh left his lips as he took off his eye contacts.

Someone had been following him and it's been happening for weeks now. He'd deduced that whomever it was they didn't mean harm but just for safety progressions he had his own security ready to deal with that person.

But what was jogging his mind was why he was being followed. He'd hired an investigator but he'd be done tomorrow.

What he did know was that it was not the press whatsoever.

Sighing he joined Wren in the bathroom he'd deal with everything tomorrow.
