Media Breaks in/Pranksters

"Kats, are you paying attention?" Mina waved a hand in front of Katsuki's face. "You keep staring off into space.

"The hell do you want?" Katsuki said with a demanding voice.

"We were asking about what you and Mr. Aizawa we're talking about yesterday."

Katsuki slightly raised an eyebrow at Mina. She was sitting on his desk, crossing her arms and legs. Eijiro, sitting on the other side of the desk, leaned over and rested his head on the surface of the table. Hanta was sitting on the side of the table, leaning back in his chair. Denki stood right behind Eijiro and Kyoka leaned on Mina. All of them waited for Katsuki to answer them, their eyes piercing through his Katsuki's soul.

"The only topic was that scardey-cat, Deku." Katsuki rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. "He just wanted me to explain Deku's childhood."

"I'm actually curious, Kats," Kyoka fiddled with her long earlobes. "What was Izuku's childhood like?"

Katsuki stared at Kyoka. She gave him looks of seriousness, void of anything else. Katsuki just sat there, not responding to her cold stare.

"Hey, KoKo!" Denki interrupted the challenge of who would talk first. "Be nice to Kats. He's had a long month."

"I understand that, Denks. But I just wanna know. I have a feeling, that's all."

"Pft, just a feeling." Katsuki scoffed so rudely. "You can't base things off a damn feeing. Stick to reality, Ears."

"Can you stop calling me names. I'd much rather you call me KoKo instead of Ears."

Katsuki slumped in his chair, feeling like the pressure of his friends' curiosity was weighing on him. They kept pushing and pushing, but he felt as if he wasn't saying enough, which made them more curious.

"He was bullied all his life," Katsuki managed to mutter out after a few long minutes of silence. "And I wasn't there. I was too busy being the best."

Most of the class locked eyes with Katsuki, staring at him like he was a stranger. Perhaps that's what Katsuki is. Supposedly a friend, but would rather be the best instead of watch out for his close friends.

"You guys are so quick to judge," Hanta said with his weird smile and waved his hand. "Chill out. Let him speak."

Suddenly, the alarms went off. Panic could be heard outside the classrooms. Doors flung open and the entire school could be seen running through the hallways.

Ochaco, being the curious bean she is, used her Quirm to float over the crowd and looked around. Nothing was happening. She looked out the window and saw the media, pushing and pushing the teachers to answer questions.

She landed back inside the classroom and gagged. "It's the m- media again. Also, excuse me before I puke on the floor."

"Tch, how the hell does the entire school keep freaking out when it's just the damn media?" Katsuki said as Ochaco started puking in the small trash can and Mina closed the door.

"I dunno, we can ask Ochaco what she saw." Tsuyu put a finger to her chin. "Was it just the media, Ochaco?"

"Bleh," Ochaco gagged. "It's the media and…one other thing."

"What's the other thing?" Toru asked. "Is it bad?"

"The front gate. It's completely gone. There was a pile of, I think, dust where the gate is supposed to be."

"A pile of dust?" Tenya asked, squeezing his chin with a stiff hand. "I can only think of Izuku's Quirk. However, the vague description of the hand villain's Quirk fits this scenario."

"Oh, c'mon, Tenya." Ochaco wiped away the drool on her chin with her sleeve. "Izuku would never do something like this. No way."

You'd think so, right? Katsuki thought to himself as the panic went on in the hallways. Class 1-A ignored the crowd of yelling since it was just the media. Sooner then later, the teacher would take care of it or someone would notice it's nothing dangerous.

—————

Izuku sat on top of the roof of UA yet again, watching the commotion of the media invading the grounds. He could hear the students inside, panicking, screaming, trying to exit the building because of this false alarm.

"I wonder if Kacchan got caught in the crowd." Izuku said to himself. "If he was, he'd probably be really angry about it."

Izuku pulled his phone out of his pocket and stared at the black screen. When he had joined the league. He completely shut his phone down, h even took the SIM card out. If anyone were to call him, they'd be told that his phone was disconnected.

"There you are," Kiyo said as he exited the purple warp gate. "We've been looking for you. You've been gone for, like, hours. We thought you would have come back by now."

"Kiyo, I'm going to ask a silly question," Izuku said as he kicked his legs off and let them dangle. "Could you come watch the festival with me?"

"Why the hell would I do that?"

"I'm just wondering. I don't want to be alone during the festival and I can't trust Toga. Shiggy is to recognizable and Kuro doesn't want to leave the bar."

"Okay, but why do I need to come? You and Shigaraki said it yourselves that we're all too recognizable."

"I don't want to be alone…" Izuku fiddled with his fingers. Avoiding eye contact with Kiyo. "I don't want to be alone during the festival. What if I come across one of my classmates or a hero. Actually, that may be a guarantee because it's the Sports Festival."

Kiyo sighed. It made sense that Izuku would ask if they could go to the festival together. "You sound desperate, so I'll go with you. But there's one thing you have to do for me."

Izuku turned to Kiyo and tilted his head. "What?"

—————

"This is stupid," Izuku said as he stood in front of a house. "Why am I here?"

"B- because, kehehe, it's just for my pure entertainment."

Izuku wore the same red wig and white jacket from before and stood in front of a house. It looked pretty old and they had no idea who's house it was. That was just the fun of the prank they were about to pull.

"I will only do this if you come with me to the festival." Izuku poked a finger at Kiyo's chest, giving him a slight glare of seriousness.

"Okay, okay, I promise." Kiyo crossed his heart and gave a thumbs up.

Izuku sighed. He knocked on the door while Kiyo climbed up into the roof.

"Knock, knock," Izuku said with a cheerful tone. "You ordered a pizza from the Musutafu delivery service. We're to drop the pizza off."

The door cracked open and an eye peered out. From the looks of it, it was a boy. He had purple hair and he seemed like a huge introvert.

"A pizza?" He asked. "Dad, did you order a pizza?"

"No, I didn't. Why? Are those scammers trying to sell things again?"

The door opened and there stood a man with black hair and eyes that said he was always exhausted. Izuku had no immediately recognized him, after all, it was his teacher.

"I've got it, Hitoshi." Aizawa said as he leaned on the doorframe in the walkway. "Alright, what's with this pizza delivery thing?"

Izuku didn't answer. He was too shocked to do anything in that moment.

"Hey, kid, are you awake?"

"Uh-" Izuku shook his head rapidly and put his cheerful and extroverted personality back on. "Sorry about that. I must've come to the wrong location. Maybe it's the next house over."

"Maybe? You're probably a new staff member." Aizawa mumbled. "You know what? You also look like a student of mine." Aizawa leaned in to get a closer look at Izuku's face, trying to figure out if they looked alike or not. "He's blind and covers his eyes with his hair. And your doing that too."

"There are plenty of people who cover their face with their hair, sir." Izuku said with a smile, trying to get away.

"You're right," Aizawa said as he lifted Izuku's hair out of his face. "Nevermind. You're a different person. His eyes are white and yours are red."

Thank god I wore contacts.

"We mine as well take the pizza." Aizawa said as he took the pizza box. "My son will probably enjoy that."

Before Aizawa went back inside, Izuku looked up at Kiyo. He was currently holding a a pan full of whipped cream. He was so ready to just drop the entire thing of cream onto Aizawa's head. And that's just what he did.

*Splat*

Cream splatted all over the place. It dripped down Aizawa's shirt. Aizawa stood there with the pizza in his hands.

"Dad?" The son, known as Hitoshi, said. "Is everything okay-"

Hitoshi looked out the door and found Aizawa still standing there. He covered his mouth and snickered. "Dad, what happened?"

"These kids…"

"Hahaha!" Kiyo held his stomach from laughter. "That was the best thing I've seen all week!"

"You damn kids…"

"Let's get out of here, Kiyo." Izuku said as he starts running away.

"Get back here you damn kids!"
