Observing silently

Tapping his fingers on the table, Lee Shira coldly glance at Aryen, giving her a cold chill on her spine. How can she forget that he hates delays! 

Aryen: "..." Is he too excited for me to check his cooking? 

Despite his coldness, Aryen chuckled. She walked towards Lee Shira and stand next to him that made him raised his eyebrow in curiosity of what she is planning to do. 

Lee Shira: "..."

Aryen suddenly bent down and a soft hot lip suddenly touches his. It was just a quick kiss, but Lee Shira was stunned after her unanticipated actions.

Then Aryen smiled like a blooming flower that Lee Shira haven't seen since they met. She uttered. "Thank you for your hard work." her voice sounded sweet and loving. 

Despite his surprise, Lee Shira looked at her with his inexpressive eyes but his face remained expressionless. Yet Aryen wouldn't guessed what's running on his mind. 

What Lee Shira didn't know, Aryen deliberately kiss him with a sweet smile to see whether it will be effective as her beauty trap but Lee Shira did not react, she secretly frowned inside her heart. 'Not effective!'

She turned around and seated next to him: removed the cover but her hand suddenly paused in the air and began trembling. Her eyes widened in shock.

Aryen can't be mistaken, the food prepared on the table was her favorite dish that her mother always cooked for her.  Her eyes sting but tried hard to stop her tears and immediately placed down the cover to hide her trembling hands under the table with fear that Lee Shira might feel suspicious.

Aryen tried to calm her pumping heart and forced a smile. "It's the same dish that I've been trying to learn on how to cook." Her voice is faint and a bit shaking. 

What else she could guess? It might be the reason why her mother was speaking with Lee Shira earlier. Aryen wanted to feel mad after thinking that it was him who cooked for her. Worse, she even gave him a kiss! 

Because of her shock, Aryen tried to prevent looking at Lee Shira's eyes as she started to get something on her plate. But without hearing a word from him, there was a sigh of relief on her heart.

However, despite her claim about the dish, Aryen's teary eyes and shock expression did not miss his gaze. Lee Shira can confirm that there is a high possibility that his wife and Mrs Mei are mother and daughter. 

Although Lee Shira did not speak, his pair of fierce eyes are carefully watching all her expressions and there was nothing that missed his gaze. But he pretended not to notice anything and started to eat but he continued observing silently.

With his suspicion about Aryen's sudden request, Lee Shira deliberately asked Mrs Mei to cook something for his wife even though it is not what he wants for his own breakfast. It was a test he prepared for Aryen to find out any possible relationship between her and Mrs Mei.

Added by the time when he was speaking with Mrs Mei after she delivered the dish he requested, Lee Shira's suspicion deepened when Aryen reacted differently.  

Although Aryen provided an explanation, Lee Shira didn't believed her reasons. He waited for them to have a breakfast and waited for her reaction once she sees the dish.

Aryen's hands can't help but to tremble while tears began to form on her eyes. She tried hard to stop her tears, blinking continuously while savouring the taste of her favorite dish.

Watching Aryen's uneasiness, Lee Shira put down his fork, and suddenly stood up. Without saying a word, he walked towards the door and left Aryen alone.

Aryen: "..." What's wrong with him? 

Aryen was dumbfounded when Lee Shira suddenly left. But the tears she has been suppressing fall on her cheeks. Yet she is thankful for having a chance to be alone. 

As for Lee Shira, he decided to leave while watching his wife trying hard to hold her tears. He went out and stood under the shade of a tree, and pulled out his phone and dialled some numbers.

While staring at the cabin, Lee Shira coldly spoke right after the call was answered. "Check her relationship with Mrs Mei. Make sure to do a DNA test." He hangs up before the other person can respond and stares at the cabin.
