Chapter 29: Let's get this over with

Ryu returned once more in his forge as Rey began to make more of his works for his clients. As an artisan he needed to make sure that quality is high and artistic as well since he has to deal with several things. Mt.Lady's boots, Repairs for several heroes costumes and armors requested by him as well as a apprentice he needed one someday. He needed someone young, talented to the craft and finally his appreciation for the craft. In the mean time he has all of the materials needed to make Mt.Lady's boots.

He finished sketching Mt.Lady's boots including her measurements she wanted thigh high boots don't know why but useful when he searched around the internet most designs are consistent with high thick heels. Which are a major design flaw so he scratch that but his boots for Mt.Lady will be a low heel type boots as she wanted them to follow her color scheme of her costume. Purple, Beige, and Orange highlights so Rey decided that the design as follows the leather has a Purple base then some Beige then the shoelaces and soles.

Rey then began to cut out the many pieces of leather. After cutting out the many pieces he began to sew them by hand with his pair of handmade foot dummy with wood and a metal bottom part of the foot. As he began to add the bottom part of the sole for the boots and began to insert boot tacks which are different from normal nails which the tip will bend and make it feel like there is no sharp tip. Then Ryu made sure the boots are smooth and no wrinkles then he added another layer for the sole being the middle sole or Midsole and add more adhesive on the sole then glue it then add more boot tacks to secure it. And lastly the outer sole or Outsole where there are wear patterns to give anyone having a grip on the ground. Then he began to make another being a low heel as he began to carve and shaving the material and using some adhesive to stick it then adding some shoe tacks to secure the heel.

After making the boots he has to make it long enough to the thigh area of MT. Lady since she wanted thigh highs. So Rey began to sew more pieces of leather that reaches to the thigh area mostly the thin ones as he began to sew them and finally finished them now he painted them with the Mt. Lady color scheme Beige, Purple, and Orange. After adding the color scheme he added orange laces which are very long for the boots ad he laced them from each hole until it reaches to the top. After that Ryu added an insole inside the boot for comfortability after that he added his branding which is his name in kanji inside the boots also at the back part of the foot. After that Ryu began to put them in a simple box and ship them right to Mt.Lady's agency well if she has one since she is in debt. But for now Rey then began his other services repairs and replacements.

" *Sigh Welp time to work once more" he said as he began to work on the other commissions for both customer and heroes.

Meanwhile in the City,

In Mt.Lady's Agency she was waiting to be called as she is just sitting in her office eating some chips or other snacks. Until a doorbell rang as Mt.Lady stood up and opens the door seeing a box until she realized what is inside the box. From her board and unfazed look to a look of both happy and excitement that it's here. Then Mt.Lady began to grab the box and close the door and locked it.

Then Mt.Lady opened the box seeing what she wanted her thigh high boots. She then began to put it on as it fitted her like a glove perfectly. She was happy as she looks at the mirror seeing that it goes well in her hero costume since it copies the theme of her hero. As Mt. Lady began to pose to the mirror as it was so perfect that it looks better or great as she thinks about Ryu's quirk but first she has to use it in her hero quirk. Also she sees Ryu's name as his branding to prevent any copyrights and frauds.

As Mt.Lady was called in she then left her agency to help her fellows especially Kamui Woods. As she went out and help from raids, Rescue, and fighting gigantification Villains she had her boots around. As everyone saw that Mt.lady is wearing boots as the saw Ryu's name behind m the boots as they knew it was the blacksmith's work. It is both elegant, Perfect, and lastly beautiful. That Mt.Lady was very thankful to Ryu since she has a hard time with wearing nothing until he came and saved her feet from sharp objects or debris from buildings.

With Ryu who is watching the news including some shows that interviews both heroes and celebrities about things as Mt.Lady was very happy for her boots. As Ryu nodded with appreciation that he was satisfied with making those boots thankfully. Until Mt.Lady began to thank Ryu and gave him a flying kiss as Ryu froze and felt a chill down his spine for no reason as he looks around his house as it was nobody.

In Ryukyu's agency

Ryukyu was looking like she was smiling but her aura emitting a somewhat of a sinister and dark aura making her sidekicks including Nejire Hado slightly scared of Ryukyu. As her and the other sidekick's began to move away from her as Ryukyu was still smiling but inside she was both jealous and angry about this.

'Is she trying to steal Ryu from me...If she is I will make sure that no one steals Ryu from me and he is mine' she thought as her Aura began to emitte more as her sidekicks and Nejire were now scared about this.
