A world with no future.

It was a beautiful sunny day like any other. A rabbit went to the river to drink some water.

The day was calm, the sky was blue, and the kids were waiting for it at home… What could go wrong?

But from behind the rabbit, a massive Humanoid appeared. It's massive, disproportionate eyes stared at the shaken rabbit for a few seconds before it left, back into the forest.

The rabbit stayed there, frozen by fear.

A few seconds later, it recovered, putting this strange sight behind it. It knew who these creatures were. It heard it from its own mother. Now it's her time to do the same.

But before she could leave, a massive tearing sound came from the river.

-Yolooo!

A strange sound came from the dark hole floating above the river.

From the hole a white bird emerged, followed by a strange piece of wood it had never seen before.

The piece of wood collided with the water making it splash around, wetting its fur.

Before this could get any worse, something leaped from inside of the wood.

Something was off about this creature…

Suddenly, it looked back directly into its eyes.

-!

The rabbit heart stopped for a second. This creature was going to eat it!

The rabbit couldn't resist the immense pressure and collapsed.

-... What happened to this rabbit? Is it sick?

I went to the rabbit and injected it with a small wave, healing it a bit.

The little guy opened it's eyes and stared at me.

-Go now little guy. I motioned my hand to shoo it away.

The rabbit then fled into the bushes, not because of what I did, but because of the Titan that jumped at me with its jaws open.

-Barrier.

A golden barrier was created behind me.

The Titan crashed into it.

/Crack!/ /Crush!/...

Its teeth and bones broke apart due to the impact.

-That was quite the impact, but it's too slow and clunky. Perhaps if it knew how to use its strength properly? I guess that's why Titan shifters are so strong in the first place.

I picked a small leaf and charged it with Hamon.

-The nape is the weak spot right? I am sorry for the person inside the Titan, but I can't do anything about it. Rest in peace.

The leaf pierced the Titan's back, killing it. It just stayed there, unmoving.

-I think I got it. I thought I was going to miss it, since their body shapes are so irregular .

I stored the boat in the cube and went on my way.

In fact… Where should I go?

I just hope this isn't the war arc...

Getting everything when they are just kids will be much easier than having to fight against a coordinated army.

I walked a little bit more towards the North, when I saw a road.

-If there is a road here it means there should be inside one of the walls, but if there is a titan… Well. That event was pretty soon in the story.

(The colossal Titan breaking the wall was literally the first ep in the anime.)

But luck was on my side as I finally saw the massive wall from far away.

-It's kinda fantastic when you see it like this.

No one seems to be leaving the wall at this time. I don't think it's a common occurrence anyway.

From afar a Titan could be seen running towards me.

-Another one? It's the 8th one I saw today!

Whatever. Let's just climb this damn thing.

O jumped high in the air, and landed with my feet in the wall.

I looked at the Titan trying to reach me, but unfortunately, its legs were too small for it to jump.

Step by step, I climbed towards the top.

The view is quite nice from over here.

The wall defenses were basic, consisting of only some canons and some rails indicating that the plot was still quite early.

I looked around. Finally, I noticed a young man who seemed nervous.

After looking at him long enough I realized he was a newbie. Since he kept looking around the place and making sure everything was alright.

If they have a newbie doing patrol alone. They must be understaffed, meaning they lost a large amount of personnel recently.

An idea formed in my head. And I slowly approached the boy.

I placed my hand on his shoulders when he was looking away.

-What do you think are doing Private? Keep looking forward!

-YES SIR!

-Tsk tsk. Look at you, all nervous. Do you have the time to BE NERVOUS?!

-NO SIR!

-THEN STRAIGHTEN YOUR SHOULDERS AND LOOK FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE! THE WALL ISN'T GOING TO WATCH ITSELF!

The boy then continued his patrol without looking back.

Finally, some other soldiers appeared marching from another side of the wall.

Right on time, I would have had to get my hands dirty.

So we are currently rather early in the story. Eren should still be incapable of controlling his Titan that well if he can control it at all.

I jumped out of the wall into the city.

I crashed into the ground creating a large crack, but no sound was made.

-I might need some clothes… Nah, I will just go like this. I can use Hamon to hide, literally, no one here can see me when I do this. Perhaps the Titan shifters, but they aren't here right now.

While I ran I saw many civilians walking around the place, collecting stone and wood to rebuild some structures.

-AHHHH! SAWNEY! BEAN!...

A scream could be heard from somewhere near.

Did something happen?

Jumping from roof to roof I arrived at an enclosed site. There were a lot of people here. One of them being a girl with a ponytail screaming at two piles of giant bones.

I remember this. I knew where I was on the timeline now.

Things will be a lot easier now.

She continued to scream while some soldiers cleaned the crowd. From the side, I saw a blond man approaching a small man in a green hood.

I found him quite easily.

The man said something to the young man before leaving.

The boy in the green hood turned back and watched him leave.

I jumped high in the sky falling right on his side.

-AHH! He let out a surprised scream.

But I didn't even look at him, I just kept looking forward.

The day couldn't be more bizarre for Eren.

He suffered the night hearing about the incessant experiments of Hange Zoe. And now in the morning, he is suddenly given the news that the two captive Titans being used in experiments had been killed.

But worse of all, a man wearing clothing he never saw before, fell from the sky without using any equipment. Without even using any equipment.

Eren thinks he is too tired already since when he looked around, no one seemed to be reacting to this man.

Eren turned around and started to walk away.

-Eren Yeager. Son of Grisha Yeager. May I ask you a question?

Eren was stupefied. It seemed the man wasn't an illusion after all! But no one was reacting to him at all! What was happening?!

Eren didn't know if he should follow the man, but he wanted answers.

Strangely, no one stopped them on their way. Not even Mikasa, who seemed to be looking for someone.

The moment he was going to call her…

-It's useless, she can't hear nor see us.
