Absolute Justice

"Grandpa!"

My grandpa was under the huge walls and the flames covered the whole area, preventing me to move further.

"Just you wait, I will get some help or something to protect you!" I said.

"There....."

"?"

"There is no need for that, Ray..... Protect yourself first. I will die since it is too late

...."

He seemed to be stabbed from behind before getting under the collapsed walls. The blood was overflowing both from his mouth and his back.

"Don't come near."

"No, I will protect you grandpa even if it takes my own-"

"Don't ever say those ridiculous words, Ray. If you truly respect me then stop being mindless and just listen to me....I don't have much time left...."

I watched him as he had started speaking.

"A man named Guz, came to this as he suddenly attacked the village. You must stay away from him and run from here...." He said.

"I hate that guy too much, he didn't even spared children and women. Kayde.....what she had done that she deserved it?...."

Grandpa looked upset and showed a hint of hatred within him.

"Ray, can you promise me something. Consider it my last wish my child...."

"What is it...*sob*.....grandpa?"

He smiled as he said-

"You must grow up and live, in order to bring peace in the Kingdom.....if someone, who is evil, wants to change then they should be forgiven however, If they....*cough*...If they don't change then you know what to do right?"

I understood what he meant and it was-

"Ray..." he looked at me and-

"Ray.... You should destroy..... every evil being."

"Grandpa?....."

I didn't realised for a second but then I noticed that grandpa.....was no longer.

"Just as I thought that my life would be filled with happiness, this incident occurred out of nowhere...." I muttered as I was looking at the dead body of my grandpa.

"This world will never change... Evils will be evils no matter what you do... Innocent people will simply die if I let things go as they have been."

"To change the world, I must change myself first. My own perspective should be edited and I should think in a different way...." I muttered.

"Sorry grandpa but I don't think any evil deserves a second chance... For a better peaceful kingdom, I will eradicate every single evil....The true and real justice will emerge to maintain peace and order...."

"But I have some unfinished business in this village...."

"On second thought, no one was innocent from this village. I was foolish to shed tears for them. They humiliated me as if I was some kind of monster. I must also eradicate these villagers with Guz...I hate this person but I must tag along with him..."

Part 2- Present Time

That was all I could remember but after that I woke up in a deserted place just after that incident ended.

"Kekeke, I hope you are ready to be consumed by Shadow Crystal..." said Guz.

This man told me earlier, just after he seized me by chains, that he needed the souls of the people in order to maintain the strength of Shadow Crystals. He told me that the Shadow Crystals were created by ancient sorcerers to keep the Giant Serpent alive. A person was needed in order to offer the souls of people without letting anyone know about it's dark truth.

"Yes.....but can you just stop pretending to be Guz?"

Just as I said those words, the chains immediately disappeared.

"What!? What are you talking about?"

"It's bit weird to call you by that name but I think it's time to give up, Shadow Crystal."

"....."

The fake Guz went silent.

"So, you remember everything what actually happened when you joined Guz to destroy village....It can't be helped I think...."

Due to the intense pressure, I had forgotten about the portion of my memory where I killed the real Guz after destroying and killing, people who humiliated me, people with him. After the absolute judgement on villagers, I had stabbed Guz. He was kind of a guy who believed in my strength and lie so easily. My strength increased, even though I was 10, due to my intense desires and emotions.

It was easy to stab him but I had forgotten about that memory because of the pressure that my brain was unable to handle and as result I forgot about some portions of my memory.

Guz- or basically Shadow Crystal- used it's illusions to manipulate me so that I would show it my intense negative emotions.

"That Guz... was killed by you so I had to struggle a lot since I was not getting the food to maintain the immortality of Giant Serpent. As a result, I was nearly failed but then I saw you guys. My hopes had increased as I saw you guys coming here." said Fake Guz (Shadow Crystal).

"Normally it's fine to take souls by killing people but if I get too hungry and want enough strength desperately to maintain immortality, then I have to consume the negative emotions of people until they are dead. Whenever I consume the negative emotions, people starts to feel sudden pressure and they die." He continued.

"...." I was listening in silent.

"I can kill people and consume their souls but their souls gets destroyed when I consume them so it basically becomes nearly impossible for me to take negative emotions. Therefore, as a result I end up killing so many people to maintain the necessary strength within me. Alas! That Guz was dead."

Basically he kills people to atleast consume a little bit of negative energy from them when he swallow up the souls.

"This skill to create illusions is not so strong as I failed to master it and therefore it is mostly depends on the individual that how much negative energy I could get. Somehow, my illusion worked a little better on you just like that girl with pink hair."

"So, Chloe is also trapped? It is good that he had not mastered that skill or else I would have been in some kind of strong illusion. It was a little scary..."

"After I deal with you all, I will simply wait for some potential candidates and offer my small portion of my strength so that they will help me get the food. Kekekeke."

"You imitate Guz's personality very well to be honest...."

"I don't have anything to say anymore now. So, I will simply cancel this skill as it is now useless since you already know about it. Though, I can't talk anymore after this....That's pretty depressing but anyway..."

My eyes suddenly caught a bright light as I tried to cover my eyes with my arm.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself back in the dimension as I stared at the Shadow Crystal. It was already prepared for battle by it's tentacles, veiled in dark smog...

"I must destroy this crystal and save others. They don't deserve to die after all as they are trying their best to bring justice while risking their own life. For the first time, I found some people who have geniune desires for bringing peace while they eradicate evils."

"You are the main source of destroying my village..."

The tentacles had started to reach me to attack me. I was dodging and slashing the tentacles while rushing towards the Shadow Crystal slowly.

"Because of you many people died....I didn't cared about it though as they were all evils so they deserved it....but...."

The tentacles started to regrow no matter how many times I had slashed them.

"You had killed my precious friend Kayde....and....."

I found the right time and used flame dance where I swung my sword in circular motion while producing huge amount of magic energy to make a flame tornado.

"killed my grandpa as well...I will not let you go unpunished..... Absolute Justice should exist to maintain peace and order....to annihilate you evils....to be honest you don't even deserve death rather you deserve something more painful but I must protect real innocent people right now....."

My destructive flame dance with the flame tornado as it turned every single tentacle along with Shadow Crystal. Crystal was not destroyed but it was in the state of getting destroyed. I immediately rushed in and destroyed the crystal with my last piercing sword.

"I believe you are still active as you were divided into five crystals but I will end this all by destroying your other four crystals as well." I muttered.

"The time has come grandpa, to take your revenge against the real culprit who killed both you and Kayde....I had failed to protect you before but I can atleast guarantee you that it will be the justice who will win over evils..."

It was time for me to protect others as well, as the crystals were not completely defeated.
