Harry and Daniel

Running along the sidewalk the entire Williams family ran at a steady pace, in pairs of two, each pair having their own small conversation as they all ran together.

"So,how does it feel Alex, knowing today is the day we're finally launching the Star Horizon website."

Asked Duke, as he turned his to look, to his right staring at Alex, who is running along side him, lowering his head just a little bit.

Duke stood around 6 foot 1 in height 4 inches taller than Alex, Alex hearing Duke's inquire turned to look at Duke. Briefly before turning his attention back towards the front as he answered the question.

" I suspect that everyone else will be more surprised by the results, that this new venture will bring." Replied Alex casually.

This answer slightly surprised Duke, raising an eyebrow. Duke decided to remain quiet focusing, on his jog rather than asking Alex, where all his confidences is coming from.

They had already agreed the previous night, that they to discuss on the details of the Alexander plan's for the future. Duke wasn't a anxious person but, was rather a patient and calculating person at heart.

His gut feeling told him very early on that Alex would someday be to accomplish something great.

Meanwhile Alex began looking back at the previous success of Amazon. As he began calculating how successful their own business venture would be as he jogged. From what he remembered Amazen was originally founded on July 5, 1994, as a website that only sold books, Jeff Bezas.

Being the founder had a vision for the company's explosive growth and ecommerce domination. He knew from the very beginning that he wanted Amazen to be an everything store.

In the first month of its launch, Amazon had already sold books to people in all 50 state, in 45 different countries. Alex wasn't sure that Star Horizon would be able to take off at, the same speeds that Amazen did a few years later.

However, he was confident enough that they could achieve something similar, the era of great internet boom is already around the corner.

The online initial sales of Castle Wolfenstein 3D already showed Alex, that the number of internet users was being to raise crazy. Alex estimated that there were potential already millions of Americans households, across the country used to using the internet on a regularly basis.

It would most likely, not take more than two to three months at max for Horizon to take off like a rocket.

And just like Amazen, Star Horizon would mainly focused on selling and delivering books. In its first year and a half as stated in his plans using their online website. They would mean also use the same strategy that Amazen used to their advantage.

Book distributors required retailers to order 10 books at a time, and Amazen didn't need that much inventory yet.

The team at Amazen discovered a loophole: Although the distributors required that they order 10 books, the company didn't need to receive that many. So, they would order one book they needed, and nine copies of an obscure lichen book, which was always out of stock. 

It wasn't a problem for Alex, to make enough money to meet book distributor requirements with time. But, why would he waste such precious knowledge, a business should waste money on inventory it doesn't need.

And who knew how long it would take to sell unwanted goods. They may well could lay around collecting dust.

Alex had also presented this loophole, to his parents and uncle when he had given his pitch, about his business proposal. Which all of them were extremely happy about, especially his mother who was the most excited at how much they could save.

The only problem Alex worried about, is the lack of manpower as currently it would only be his mother, father and three older siblings running things. Duke would be meanly working part-time. And from the information he had on the early days of Amazen, it could quickly become a living nightmare for everyone.

Due to the large amount of hours they had to spend trying to keep up with all the orders coming in. Hence, why Alex wanted a lot of start up capital to hiring employees to help. This was Alex biggest concern at the moment, and he couldn't have his gaming company use their own development capital either.

As it could cause a bit of trouble for the development for his gaming studio. What Alex wanted and needed, to do us begin using his future knowledge of the stock market to his advantage.

He himself also couldn't help much either,with this new venture, hs already busy training and running Blue Star Interactive. And now with the new prospect of him being involved in television productions.

He couldn't spare enough time to also worry about Star Horizon, Alex wanted his family members to be able to relay on each other to run things without him. The only thing Alex could do was give advice on what they can do under difficult circumstances. This would also allow everyone to grow and develop themselves through difficult challenges.

As Alex got lost in his thought, Jennifer and Ashley were discussing excitedly about, how they were going to be apart of the new business their family is starting.

Even though the two of them had some work experience thanks to the part-time jobs they did during their free time. They usually worked as ether, as baby sitter and tutors.

Meanwhile, in the front Oliver and Martha, were also discussing very important matters concerning their new business. "Today, my final day working at the day care center, are you sure we can't postpone the launch till tomorrow."

Asked Martha. As she kept pace with Oliver as they discussing matters about Star Horizon launch.

" No, we can't Duke already officially launch the website last night, you don't need worry, Jennifer and Ashley will be able to handle."

Replied Oliver, responding to his wife concerning. " The two of them already understand the importance of being diligent when at work. More over Duke already explained to the two of them how to operate and use the website." Continued Oliver. Adding, " everything is going to be fine, it's only the first day."

Hearing her husband words didn't do much to relieve her concerns. Especially when Duke and Alex the most tech-savvy ones of the family, wouldn't be able to help much due too, the both of them still having to attend school.

And that was even more so for Alex, who had already expressed to everyone that he wouldn't get too involved with Star Horizon.

Hence, why Duke was the one who created the Star Horizon online website, using the notes given to him by Alex, on how it would need to operate. Not to mention that, Alex is already running his own gaming studio that is also under their names.

All of this worried Martha, greatly especially for herself even though she wouldn't be doing anything too difficult. She was still unsure if the four of them would be able to make things work as planned.

After running for nearly thirty minutes, the William family finally returned back home. Alex, Duke, and Oliver were the first to take their shower. One after the other, which didn't take too long only ten minutes to fifteen minutes.

In comparison the three ladies, had to bag on the bathroom door, to each other to hurry up and finish bathing.

After taking his brisk shower, Alex put on a white t-shirt ,with light blue jeans held up by a white belt. Finishing his whole outfit with a pair of checkerboard Vans style shoes. Duke on other side put, on a long sleeve button on t-shirt, black jeans with a black belt and a pair of black Nike shoes.

Which looked very similar to what, Oliver is wearing except for the black pants and shoes which were more formal.

After, which the entire family proceeded to have a light breakfast, before leaving together in their Toyota land cruiser. Oliver and Martha both set in the front seats, Oliver behind the wheel.

" Alright, I hope everyone hasn't forgotten anything they may need for the day? " Asked Oliver as he looked through the rear view mirror, to the backseat where the rest of his family were all seated.

Hearing no responsed from either of them Oliver hit the road to start their new week. However little did anyone aside Alex have an inkling for what led ahead from then on.

Meanwhile, in the luxurious apartment Daniel, is having a scrumptious breakfast with his wife and daughter. "Daddy.. when will I be going back to school ?" Asked Vanessa as she took a bite out of her serial.

" Don't worry little darling, Daddy and mummy are going to find you a good school very soon?" Answered Daniel.

As he held a newspaper in his hand, not taking his attention from the news he was reading. This was one of the bad habits, Daniel had picked up growing up with his father.

Who wouldn't gave much attention to anyone unless it concerned, business or anything else he considered to very important that, required his at most attention.

"Mm..."

Sounded Helena towards, Daniel direction trying to get his attention. Hearing the unusual sound coming from where his wife is seated got his attention. Taking his attention off the newspaper, and taking a quick glance from the corner of his eye, to see his wife disapproving expression.

Daniel had been married long enough to understand the meaning of her expressions expertly. She clearly wasn't pleased by his in attentiveness towards their daughter, not even looking at her when answering her question.

Seeing that he clearly made a mistake, that dissatisfied his wife, Daniel put down the newspaper he was reading. And decided to give all of his attention to his wife and daughter, talking about making plans for all of them to go out together later in the day.

Which delighted his daughter as she, hadn't been able to spend much time with her father, who would usually always be out working. She could only be comforted by her, mother and uncle when she felt sad about, not spending time with her dad.

As they three of them were discussing excitedly, before they were interrupted by the sudden clanking sounds of opening of the front door, to their apartment. Where tall a light brown skin young man, with an afro hairstyle, walked in with a charming smile of his face.

Having dark blue eyes, sharper eyebrows and standing around 6 foot tall in height. Entering the room, the young man quickly greeted the family heading towards Vanessa and lightly pitching her cheeks.

" Your late." Replied Daniel to the young man greetings.

" I'm really sorry brother-in-law it won't happen again. " Answered Harry, Helena younger half brother who was the products of Helena mother's second marriage, after her own biological father past away years earlier.

" There won't be a next time you're, or you'll have to find your own transportation." Said Daniel.

Getting up from his seat grabbing his white suit jacket along. "Grabbed that envelope, and brief case on the counter over there? " Commanded Daniel, which Harry immediately did without hesitation.

Giving his wife and daughter a goodbye kiss, Daniel proceeded to had out of the apartment, before turning back to see his wife younger brother, who wasn't following him. "What are you waiting for? " Asked Daniel with a displeased tone.

Scratching the back of his head Harry answered shyly: " I haven't eaten yet." Clearly still hoping he could grab something to eat before they left. Rising his eyebrow Daniel looked at his brother-in-law up and down before retorting harshly in return.

" You've already made me late for work on your first day and now you're asking me to waste, even more time so you can stuff yourself." Asked Daniel as he had already made considerable compromise on his part.

" Well... I..."

"BLUMP...."

Sounded in the room as the door closed, as Daniel exited.

" Puff...hahaha "

Hearing the stifel chuckles of the two ladies, behind himself, Harry turned around with a dazed expression.

Before quickly coming back to his senses, and chased after Daniel, while carrying the brief case and envelope in his hand.

After Harry run out the two ladies burst out laughing at these turn of events. Helena and Vanessa decided to go after later in to explore Manhattan and some shopping.
