Synthia then turns around and faces the adventurers. "Oh? You're going to fight us? The Guild's best party? Surrender to us already!"

The adventurer then casts his magic aiming at Synthia.

<"Dark Magic: Void Spear!"> A dark magic spell that creates a single, powerful spear-shaped projectile made of pure darkness. The spear can be launched at a target, piercing through defenses and causing significant damage on impact.

Synthia also casts her magic to counter the <Dark Magic: Void Spear>

As the adventurer casts "Dark Magic: Void Spear", Synthia quickly reacts and casts <Light Magic: Luminous Barrier">, creating a bright, shimmering wall of light that blocks the incoming attack. The spear-shaped projectile collides with the barrier, creating a loud, explosive sound that echoes throughout the area.

Synthia replies with a calm demeanor. "Is that all?"

The adventurers exchange a glance before charging toward Synthia, their weapons at the ready. Synthia remains calm and focused, raising her hand and summoning a powerful gust of wind that knocks the adventurers back and creates distance between them.

She then follows up with a spell of her own,

<"Light Magic: Radiant Blade">, creating a sword-shaped beam of light that slashes through the air and strikes one of the adventurers, causing significant damage.

"Her cast time is too quick!" The adventurer says in a frustrated tone

The adventurers quickly regroup and continue their assault, unleashing a flurry of attacks and spells at Synthia. However, she remains composed and resilient, using her light magic to defend herself and counterattack when the opportunity arises. The battle rages on, with neither side giving up easily.

Meanwhile, As Ryota heads to Synthia's location, A fire magic projectile is aimed at Ryota. He immediately dodges it and looks around to look for the caster.

"I didn't expect you to dodge that... Who are you?" the man responsible for the fire magic asks Ryota.

"I won't tell you my name until you tell me yours," Ryota replies, fixing his eyes on the man.

"...Oh? It's surprising that you don't know my name. Very well, I'll introduce myself. My name is Ryuji, the leader of the Black Rook Guild," he says, bowing slightly to Ryota.

"...Ryota." He gets to his stance preparing for battle.

"A very nice name... Say Ryota... Were you the one responsible for the troll corpse back then?"

"What if I am."

Ryuji looks at Ryota and then laughs. "I see... So you're the one responsible for the troll corpse. That means you're also strong."

Ryota doesn't respond, his eyes fixated on Ryuji. The tension between them is palpable as they both prepare for battle.

"Very well then," Ryuji says, his voice calm and collected. "I suppose we'll have to settle this through combat."

Ryota swipes the air and takes a paper and pen out of his inventory slot then he starts drawing a dual black and blue sword. He then casts the magic

<Art Style: Sword Summon> A magic spell that allows the user to create a physical sword out of a drawing or sketch on a piece of paper. The drawing of the sword on paper comes to life and materializes into a real sword in the user's hand.

"I haven't seen that kind of magic before...You're interesting, Ryota." Ryuji says, impressed.

Ryota smiles, acknowledging the challenge. Without hesitation, both of them charge together, their movements swift and agile

The clash of their weapons echoes throughout the area as they engage in a fierce battle of strength and skill. Their magic spells collide, creating dazzling bursts of light and darkness that illuminate the battlefield.

"Your sword skills are also great. But..." Ryuji aims his palms at Ryota's legs.

<Dark Magic: Chain Binding> A spell that binds the target's movements by creating chains of dark energy around their legs, restricting their mobility.

Ryota's movements were bound as Ryuji dashes back and assumes a sword stance.

<"Sword Style: Thunderbolt Thrust." A style that involves a quick dash toward the opponent, using the momentum to thrust the sword forward with lightning-fast speed and power.

In a blur of motion, Ryuji disappears, reappearing in front of Ryota at lightning speed. He thrusts his sword forward, aiming for Ryota's heart.

"Tch!"

<"Time Magic: The World!"> A high-level spell that manipulates time itself, allowing the caster to slow down or even freeze time in a certain area.

Ryota then aims his palm at the dark chains.

<Light Magic: Purification>. This spell can purify dark energy, breaking its hold on the target and potentially freeing them from the chains of <Dark Magic: Chain Binding>. It can also break curses and negative status effects.

The chains of dark energy surrounding Ryota's legs begin to disintegrate under the intense radiance of the light magic. As the chains break apart and fall to the ground, Ryota breaks free and regains his mobility.

Ryota steps back from Ryuji.

He takes a deep breath and readies himself for the next move. With a swift flick of his fingers, time resumes its normal flow, causing Ryuji to suddenly lunge forward in an attempt to catch Ryota off guard.

Ryota had been anticipating Ryuji's move and was quick to react. He swiftly sidestepped and spun around in a single, graceful motion. With fierce determination, he unleashed his dual sword skill.

<"Sword Style: Gale Strike!"> A sword skill involves making a swift and powerful slash with both swords, generating a gust of wind that can knock back the opponent several meters away.

Ryuji's eyes widen in surprise as he tries to block Ryota's dual sword attack, but the force behind the strike is too great. His sword is knocked out of his hand and goes flying, embedding itself into a nearby tree with a loud thunk.

Ryuji staggers back, momentarily stunned by the power of Ryota's attack. "Impressive..." he mutters, a grudging respect in his tone as he reaches for his sword.

"This fight is fun, but... for now... My maid is my top priority," Ryota says.

"There's no need, Ryota-sama," Synthia responds as she walks up to him and glances over at Ryuji. "You two look like you're having fun."

"Ryuji!" A girl in an assassin's cloak appears behind him.

"What did they do to you!?"

"Step back, Futaba... There's no need for them."

"That guy... Is he strong?"

"He is..."

Futaba steps in front of Ryuji and draws her dagger. Synthia observes her.

"They're the top two guilds, Ryota-sama... I guess it's not surprising that you managed to defeat the head leader."

"It's luck."

"Pfft, luck... As if you believe in luck..."

Synthia leans in close to Ryota and whispers in his ear. "Ryota-sama, I have discovered a dungeon while I was being pursued by some adventurers."

Ryota raises an eyebrow in interest. "And what happened to those adventurers who dared to cross you?"

A sly grin spreads across Synthia's face. "Let's just say they won't be bothering us anymore."

"Let me give them one last gift."

Ryota then slowly walks to Futaba and Ryuji then aims his palm at them.

Ryota walks towards Futaba and Ryuji with a calm expression on his face, He extends his palm towards them and murmurs the incantation for the <"Light Magic: Enchanted Barrier"> spell. The barrier of light forms around the trio, shielding them from any incoming attacks.

Futaba and Ryuji look at each other, surprised by the sudden display of power. "Let's have a duel sometime, Mr. Head Leader."

Ryuji nods back, "I'll look forward to it."

Synthia watches the exchange with interest before Ryota turns to her, "Shall we proceed to the dungeon, Ryota-sama?"

"Lead the way," Ryota responds as they set off toward the designated location.
