'W-who does this bitch think she is?! Does she really think that she can just go ahead and attack me without facing the consequences?! I am a very powerful student! With my ability, even she will not be able to resist my will,' the student thought to himself, as the next second, all the water he could gather had splashed onto her, completely drenching her in clothes and hair.

The water also dripped onto the floor, making some noise as Kayla just remained still, her one hand still grasped tightly against the latter's neck.

'Hah! I can't believe it! It must be true that these high ranked students think that they're invincible simply because they're strong. I'll show them that not everything's about strength, that sometimes, all that matters is one ability and what it's capable of that determines who wins in a fight!' the student declared to himself, as he began to concentrate on his ability.

Doing this, it allowed him to channel the water into the pores on her skin, causing the water to mix in with her blood, allowing him to have control over her body.

"Haha! You fool! I can't believe you actually let me douse you with my ability. Now, I can control your body. Everything you do now is in accordance with my will. Now, release me!" He yelled.

Suddenly, Kayla had lost all control over her own body. Tgere was nothing she could do to fight the urge to do as the student had ordered, and soon, she had let go of him, and stood back up on her feet.

Stading up as well, his eyes darted back and forth from both Kayden, and now Kayla, Bo of whom were now under the influence of his power.

"And who says water isn't good for the body? Now, with the water in both your bodies, I now have two powerful bodyguards to ensure that no one else tries anything against me. Kayden! Get over here now!" He yelled, and Kayden did as told.

"Let's see who amongst this bunch of bozzos thinks they can beat me in a fight now," he said, staring towards the number of students fighting against each other. "My cleverness has saved me once again."

Then, the next moment, both Kayden and Kayla had turned their heads, facing the student. Their eyes had also met, and they shared a knowing glance. The next moment, and the student had yelled out in pain, falling to the floor not long after.

"I was gonna finish him off, ya know," Kayden mumbled, folding his arms.

"Relax, I wanted to do that a whole lot more than you did," she replied, abd the next second, she was off.

While the boys thought that he had both of them under his control, little did he knkw thaf that wasn't going to be the case for long. While he was busy basking in the glory of being the one in contrpl, Kayden was up to dispelling whatever liquid had been placed into his body, the same was for Kayla as well.

She had assumed that she could detect the foreign presence in her body, abd with her flames, she was able to burn away those foreign bodies pf water, thus freeing herself from the student' control.

A lot of fighting had already taken place, and there were not only a little over twenty students left still fighting. While the others were busy fighting to secure their spot, Kayden's mind had suddenly shifted towards something else.

'I wonder, now that Henry isn't with the second years, who's the new guy with them? Haven't seen him before,' he thought, as he had blocked a punch from his current opponent.

"Think you're fast, huh?! Well why don't i show you why you're nothing but a mangy mutt that belongs in the pound?!" The student yelled, activating his ability. "This is something I just learnt a couple days ago. Hope it's not gonna be too much for you to handle!"

Then, in one of his hands, lightning began to gather. The sound of crackling had caused Kayden to be on high alert. What had formed in his right hand was setting resembling a regular whip, however, the shape looked far from defined, as it would constantly swap and shoft since it was created using something that couldn't normally be held they way it currently was.

"Lightning whip!" The student yelled, swinging his arm back, then drawing it forward. "Face my flash, nasty creature!" The boy yelled, as the whio came swinging down. Seeing this, Kayden simply lept to the side, avoiding the strike entirely.

"You know, for someone who seems confident in winning, your actions don't quite match your words. I guess that's just one of the symptoms of being delusional. I might go see a doctor if I were you. I wouldn't want the condition to get chronic. There's no way back from a shame like that," Kayden said.

"How… how dare you speak to me like that?!" The student yelled, screaming at the too of his lungs as his ability had exploded. "I will teach you to bite your tongue!" He declared, his eyes glwing bright white in colour, completely covering theitger parts of his eyes, as small flashes of lightning would be seen every now and then.

Also, there was now a continuous form of aura surrounding his body, making his aura feel far more than it was before.

"What's this?" Kayden asked, for both reasons. "You seem to have taken a new form. I can feel that your power has risen exponentially. You are currently not the same guy I was fighting just moments ago. You have decided to join him, haven't you?" Kayden asked, and not waiting fir a response, he had used his teleportation ring to change location.

"Where did he go?" The boy asked, clenching his fist.

"Wow, I guess guys like you are gonna start popping like weeds, huh?" A voice said, walking closer towards the student. "I guess I'll have to out you down, as well," Lucas said, as his eyes began to glow with power.

"Do you really think he'll be able to help us? I mean, sure, he was the one in chagmrge of looking after that student, but didn't the student still manage to escape despite him being in charge? If you ask me, the higher-ups should've fired him already for insubordination," Riley said, with a stern look on her face.

"I don't remember asking you anything, and besides, even if the stuwas able to slip tight through his fingers, they can't just go ahead and fire him for one small slipup. The guy has been working hard day in day out. He barely catches a break, abd when he does, he gets sent out on some dangerous mission.

"All I'm saying is you should cut him some slack. He's your uncle, after all. Shouldn't you at least say nice things about him since he's family to you? Or are you guys just not that close?" Lucas asked.

They had finally made it to the entrance into the arena, and we're getting ready to go and ask whatever questions they needed answers to to the man running punishments for the academy.

"Don't bring the fact that we're related into this. What I'm speaking is simply the truth. Innocent students would've gotten killed back them if we weren't able to stand against two powerful rogue students!

"What do you think would happen if all our talented students get killed because of his carelessness, huh?! We would have to rely on the second years to do.better in preparation for what the future might hold. Plus, the guy owes me at least twenty grand. Until he pays off his debt, he's a stranger to me," Riley said, folding her arms and looking away.

Lucas couldn't help but laugh as he grabbed hold of the handle, pushing the large doors open as they both entered the arena and walked towards the entrance into the special room.

"Let's just get this over with and get on with our day. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll be done," Lucas said, as he opened the door and allowed Riley to step into the room first. "Ladies first," he said, following closely behind her as he closed the door behind himself.

"Well well well, look who's decided to come down here to pay her believed uncle a visit," the military man named Mike said, not bothering to give these two a salute or even bothering to ask formal or serious towards them. "I see you brought your boyfriend along with ya," he said, sparring Lucas a glance before turning his attention back towards Riley.

"So what do you want?" He asked, folding his arms and sitting on a student whom he had ordered to perform a large number of push-ups.
