Chapter 29: Captured

"I thought you were a respectful lady so I ordered Tahara to let you go the other time," Miyaguchi said to her.

"This time, I'm going to kill you myself," she told Misa as she went towards her.

Misa stretched her palm at Miyaguchi as chains appeared. She released the chains and then went in the direction of Miyaguchi. When the chains reached Miyaguchi, her flames increased and the chains melted.

"What the..." she said.

"This girl is a descendant of the Mikazuki clan," Misa said.

Miyaguchi dashed at Misa and kicked her as she went hitting two light poles.

"She's fast," Misa let out.

Keita then appeared out of know where coming to stab Miyaguchi but Miyaguchi shot some flame balls at Keita.

"My fight isn't with you so stay down," she said as Keita went unconscious.

Tahara was badly injured on the ground as the dark soul stones were spread around him. Juba and Samon came around Tahara as they saw something strange. Juba went to call the elder and his group.

When they arrived they noticed the dark souls encircled Tahara.

"What's the meaning of this?" the old man asked.

The old man tried to touch the dark souls but then his hands got repelled.

"The old man can't touch the dark souls?" Juba said.

Soon the dark souls began to move as they rose and began to go around Tahara's body.

Everyone then moved back as the dark soul's stones began to crack one after the after.

Finally, the stones were cracked opened as Aldhere, Counselor of the Blind; Burchard, Lord of Smoke; Grieving Divinity Gudram; Enchanted Priest Bryning; Eternal Divinity Baldwin; Berthun, Wicked Priest of Fear; and

Oswin, Deaf Baron of Prisons appeared.

The group then drew out their weapons ready to face the dark souls but then, the dark souls paid no heed to them as they all knelt towards Tahara.

"What's going on here?" the old man asked.

The dark then spread out.

When Misa noticed them approaching, she smiled as she told Miyaguchi that she had lost this round.

Soon, the dark souls began attacking Misa's men.

"What's going on?" Misa asked.

"Aren't they supposed to be working for us," Misa asked?

Misa turned and saw Tahara who still had a hole in his stomach and his eyes were as white as snow.

The dark souls attacked Misa as she hit the ground hard. The dark souls disappeared and Tahara collapsed on the ground

Miyaguchi giggled as she made a large ball out of her flame ability.

Just before she could release the ball, another bundle of chains appeared out of nowhere as they caught Miyaguchi to prevent her from releasing the flame ball

Everyone looked at the situation and Kunimichi raced to where Miyaguchi was but it was too late.

Before Kunimichi could reach there, the chains had disappeared alongside Miyaguchi.

"Was that the boss technique?" Misa asked.

"These black chains!" the old man said.

"Hey Misa, the boss has advised us to leave so we've to go," Keita said as he opened a portal.

As they were about to jump into the portal, Marris cut the portal using his axe and it disappeared.

"And where do you think you two are going," Marris asked as he approached them and his axe returned to him.

"You arrived too late boy, Miyaguchi has already been captured," Misa told Marris.

The old man walked up to Keita and Misa and gave them a death stare.

Tahara's group as well as the old man and his group went to the aid of Tahara who had collapsed on the ground.

The old man and his group helped Tahara to his feet but found out he wasn't breathing.

"We need to find a doctor," Samon said.

"We already have a doctor," the old man replied.

"He won't survive," Misa said as started laughing.

Kunimichi walked up to her and held Misa's neck and asked her, "You killed Asai and now you want to kill Tahara, I'll never forgive Misa,"

"Where did you take Miyaguchi?"Juba asked Keita.

"And you think I'll tell you that," Keita said and then Juba punched him in the stomach.

"We'll see about that?" she said.

Meanwhile, in the Guild of Teal Arms, Miyaguchi was been chained by the black chains that caught her.

"Oh! It appears you are awake Miss Miyaguchi," a voice said.

"Who are you?" Miyaguchi asked.

"So you don't recognize this voice Miyaguchi," the voice asked.

"It can't be, you are..." Miyaguchi said.

"No need to say my name kid," the voice said as he raised his hand.

"I've now gotten what I need," the boss said as his laugh echoed in the building.
