Chapter 28: UpperRank C and the Dark Souls

"You have crossed the line Dokuro Misa," the elder said as his aura expanded.
Misa used her magic to form a barrier but it broke.
"Master!" Kunimichi yelled.
The elder took his staff and formed it into a sword.
"This is the old man's aura," Tahara said.
"It's much stronger than the dark souls itself," he continued.
"Dokuro Misa, here I come," he said.
Aldhere, Counselor of the Blind;
Burchard, Lord of Smoke;
Grieving Divinity Gudram;
Enchanted Priest Bryning;
Eternal Divinity Baldwin;
Berthun, Wicked Priest of Fear; and
Oswin, Deaf Baron of Prisons.
"Master! You need to calm down," Kunimichi yelled.
A grin appeared on Misa's face and then pointed her palm at the elder.
"Oh so that's how you are going to do it, old man," Misa said as she began to cast her magic.
"Then I won't hold back either," Misa said.
Meanwhile...
Burchard, Lord of Smoke had already punched Tahara several times as his head was bust open and was losing blood.
"How long has it been since I've fought this guy?" Tahara asked.
The screen appeared in front of Tahara.
[Notice]
[It's been 20 minutes since you started fighting Burchard, Lord of smoke.]
Damn it!
"If it hadn't been for his disappearing thing, I would have killed him," Tahara said.
"Can I even defeat him?" he asked.
Burchard then raced towards Tahara as he raised his spear but instantly, the spear vanished.
"Where did the spear go?" Tahara asked as he turned around.
Tahara then turned as Burchard used his fist to punch him.
Tsk!
"He made it go," Tahara said as he tried to get up.
"Disappearing body and now disappearing spears," Tahara said as he tried to get up.
Burchard then kicked Tahara as he went hitting a light pole.
"This guy is too strong," he said.
Burchard's spear appeared on his hand again as he walked towards Tahara.
"There has to be a way of how I can kill him," Tahara said.
"But how?" he asked.
"Remember who you are son!
If not, you'll die a painful death!" a voice said.
"That's it!" Tahara said.
"I've wanted to save you for the last but I think it's time to use it," he said.
Tahara then went to his inventory and picked up the ring as well as the cloak and dropped his swords in his inventory.
"It's now or never," he said as he put on his cloak and wore the ring.
Come to me!
Alard the black
Burchard raised his spear ready to attack Tahara as Alard appeared and used his sword to block its attack. When Burchard saw Alard the black, it yelled as he raised his spear at Alard.
"It looks angry," Tahara said.
Alard raised his sword and threw it in the air. Alard then caught Burchard's spear and then broke it into two and pierced Burchard's body. Alard's sword was coming back to him and the caught in mid-air pierced Burchard's stomach. The body disappeared and what was left on the ground was its core.

Everyone turned around as they noticed one dark soul had been defeated.
"That's impossible!" Keita said.
"What is that thing?" Kunimichi asked.
Samon on the other hand who was fighting with Eternal Divinity Baldwin had been beaten badly.
"I still haven't mastered it yet," he said as Baldwin run towards him.
"I guess I have to try it one more time," he said as Baldwin released loud waves toward Samon.
"Sound ability activate," Samon Kenji yelled.
The sound reached Samon and used his sound ability to direct the waves back at Baldwin as they hit him.
"Finally, he is beginning to grow," Marris said.
When Baldwin got up from his feet, he noticed that one of their members had just been killed.
The remaining dark souls all raced toward Tahara.
"Where are they going?" Marris said.
"Why are they going after Tahara?" Juba asked.
The dark souls all attacked Alard and Tahara stood there looking at him.
"What do I do?" Tahara asked as he stared at Alard.
Tahara had then noticed the wound on his wrist and placed pressure on his wrist for some blood to gush. Suddenly some amount of blood gushed out and Tahara put his wrist on Alard's body. As soon as he did that, Alard's armor absorbed the blood and then the whole place began to shake.
The dark souls retreated as Alard became more fearful. Alard had created another sword which made him have two swords. Alard raced towards the dark souls and behind was this mixture of red and black smoke.
"Is this real strength?" Tahara asked.
[Notice]
[Your blood has made Alard more fearful]
Alard slashed the dark souls with his dual swords and the cores were collected by Tahara.

"6 dark souls have been killed in one swoop," Keita said.
"What is that thing," Keita asked.
"So this was what you were hiding all this time Tahara Kado," the Kunimichi said.
Tahara then alongside Alard raced towards the last dark soul, Oswin, Deaf Baron of Prisons.
Before Alard could raise his sword, Oswin unleashed his magic which brought up a large number of prisons.
"This guy can control the prison barrier," Tahara said as he was stunned.
No wonder he has the name Deaf Baron of Prisons.
Magical prisoners and beasts then appeared from the prison gates as they all approached Tahara.
Tahara with Alard cleared all the magical beasts and prisoners and slayed the last dark soul.

Tahara then released Alard as he brought his swords once again and raced at Misa.
When he arrived, he noticed the elder on the ground and Misa standing tall. Misa turned and saw Tahara and smiled.
"Now is your turn," she said.
Tahara jumped in the air as he raised his sword at Misa. Tahara switched his sword style and Misa saw an image behind Tahara.
"Who the hell is that?" she asked as she stood there in fear.
Before he could reach Misa, a spear was thrown from the sky as it pierced Tahara.
"Tahara!" Miyaguchi yelled.
"Who the hell is that?" Juba asked.
The spear then retracted as it appeared back to the user.
"There was no use to show me at this point," the voice said.
"That is..." Keita said then smiled.
"Rank C Spear user and magic user, Jinx Wyrm," Keita yelled.
"Rank C!" Tahara said as he tried to move.
"Sorry! But I'm being called," Jinx said as he disappeared.
Miyaguchi arrived at Tahara's body and saw blood around him.
"Tahara, Wake up!" Miyaguchi yelled.
She shook Tahara's body for him to respond but to no avail.
Misa and Keita began to laugh as they noticed that the helper of the team was down.
"I won't forgive you for what you have done," Miyaguchi said as the aura began arising.
"Miyaguchi you need to calm down," Samon addressed her as he came running.
The whole place began to heat up as Miyaguchi's flames formed a barrier.
"This is what I was waiting for," Misa said.
"I thought you were a respectful lady so I ordered Tahara to let you go the other time," Miyaguchi said to her.
"This time, I'm going to kill you myself," she told Misa as she went towards her.
