Chapter 6

Davy arrived at one of Bron's hideout locations but couldn't find him anywhere, he looked around for a bit before leaving the place to look elsewhere. After a few more hideouts, he finally found him. "You are here". He said lazily.

"ah boss you came early". Bron jumped surprisingly and looked at Davy. He stood up to welcome him in."You have too many hideouts my friend".

"ahh that, the more the merrier boss, it is my for my life on the line after all, Tea?". He waved his wand and a pot with hot water and two cups came out flying from somewhere, the hovered for a bit before they came to a still in the middle of where they were sitting.

"ah yes thank you, now what did you find?". Said Davy while taking a sip of his tea.

"Oh that, you came early boss, I was going to meet him now".

"Hmm troublesome, should i tag along?".Davy sat thinking what his next course of action should be, whether he should tag along or not.

"I wish you could but you are known everywhere boss,

you are basically the mascot of the new government, he'd recognize you faster than he would recognize his mother boss".

"Well i know that too, I'll tail you from a distance and don't worry i have my ways to stay hidden".

They argued for a bit before they finally agreed on Davy tailing him from a distance, After a bit of small talk they left the house for the meeting, Bron apparated away and a few seconds later Davy followed.

Bron arrived in a dark alley, he looked around vigilantly before knocking on a wall, a few bricks disappeared and two eyes appeared where the brick were, the eyes looked around before settling on Bron's figure. "Password". It said.

Bron looked straight into the eyes and said."Magikarp".

The eyes disappeared and a red door appeared."You may enter". Said a voice as the door opened.

Bron walked in confidently and was met with a dark hallway, it was dead in the hallway, he walked further in and a few seconds later he saw another door.

The door opened as soon as he was close enough to reach the handle, inside was a coffeehouse, there were not that many customers present, a few that were sitting by themselves here and there.

He walked further into the house as if he already knew which table his mistery guy was. He came to the table in the corner where there was already someone sitting, it was the mysterious man, he was clad with a black cloak from head to toe, bot even his face could be seen and yet he was drinking coffee.

"Goodmorning my friend, i see you came empty handed, why?". asked the mysterious man, his voice was raspy with confidence.

"Ah yes that, well you see the trade was going well untill the aurors came and almost captured all of us, luckily i was able to escape or else they would have captured all of us, phew am right hahah". Bron laughed it off as if it was no big deal.

"Funny, then did you bring my cat back or what?".

"No, my partner had it but he got captured".

"I see, So you don't have what i asked you to bring nor do you have what i gave you? why did you come then?". The man was getting angrier with each word he was saying.

"Because we had an appointment and i am never late for my dates and second because i can get you both the eggs and cat back, although it's gonna cost you extra".

"Extra? You think i'll give you a second chance? let alone a second chance you think you can walk out here alive?". The man took out his wand and pointed at Bron.

"Yes and you know why? because i have a piece of information that will help you in not getting captured today, wanna hear ir?". Bron smirked proudly not worrying about the man killing him.

The man hesitated before putting away his wand."Speak,If your information is a good as you say it is i'll give you another chance if not i'll kill you with the most painful spell ever and believe me it is worse than the forbidden one". He said viciously.

Bron gulped with fear in his eyes, just thinking about the torturous way of dying made him shiver in fear.

"I I swear i'm not lying, there is a detective here, i don't know who it is but he is after you, is that good enough?".

The man looked around cautiously before standing up ready to walk out and apparate immediately, there is a restriction inside the room so he couldn't apparate, he had to walk outside. "Stay on standby, i'll find you".
