20. Mission ends

Arashi starts fighting with Team Naruto and Team Ajisai. Four arms started growing out of his back. Using his six arms, he kept on fighting them in hand-to-hand combat. The six of them were kept at a distance from him because he was able to elongate his arms and transform his hands into scissor-like pincers. The two teams tried to reach Arashi but ended up only getting in each other's way.

"It won't work like this; we need to cooperate." Ajisai interjects.

"Okay, you plan. I will distract him." Naruto said.

Multiple Shadow clone jutsu.

Naruto's clone started bombarding Arashi with rasengan. But Arashi kept knocking them all out before any clone got close to him.

After discussing the plan, Fuyo uses the water bullet technique. Arashi counters it with Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall. The walls easily held against the water bullet while his other four arms were weaving signs for another jutsu.

Arashi: "Water Release: Water Whip"

Four water whips are formed into his four hands, and he goes for the swing. Naruto got caught up by the whip. Seeing the whip coming toward herself, Fuyo jumped to dodge, but the whip followed her, catching her off guard. The whip wrapped around her arm. She tried to cut it with Kunai, but Kunai passed through the whip.

The last whip chased Ajisai, who summoned Rainwater Gate. Due to the collision, one of the whips broke apart. The last whip got around the gate and caught her. With the remaining two hands, Arashi weaved signs.

"Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder"

A wave of electricity formed in his hands, which traveled through the whips, electrocuting Ajisai, Fuyo, and Naruto, knocking them out.

Boom!

Naruto's body burst into a cloud of smoke.

On Arashi's side, four figures appeared. Suiren had used the Water Release: Hiding in Drizzle Technique to hide the four of them from Arashi's sight. Naruto with a rasengan and Sakura with a chakra-enhanced strength punched Arashi directly into the ground.

Arashi: "NOOOO! I need more power."

Chakra started to come out of his skin, covering him in a chakra coat. Placing all his hands on the ground, he activated Earth Release: Earth Wave Technique. The ground under him moved like a wave, throwing all the people around him back. The wave caused massive damage to the cave, causing it to start breaking apart.

Arashi stood up, and his right-side face used the wind spider technique to fire webs. The webs caused team Naruto and team Ajisai to get stuck on pillars and ground. He spotted the one who was most dangerous to him. Teleporting right behind Akira, who was healing Kagerō. He swung his hand, which became a scissor-like pincer.

Arashi: "DIEEEEEEEEEE!"

Gamakichi: "Behind you!"

"Wait a minute," Akira said while still continuing to heal, not feeling any danger.

TING!

Naruto jumped in between, using a kunai to stop the pincer. Naruto's body stuck to the pillar burst into smoke. Joining his hands, he created two more clones. The two clones formed a rasengan and hit Arashi straight in the stomach, sending him flying back.

Akira thanked him while continuing the treatment.

"Leave it to me." Naruto told him, and he started cutting the web to free Sakura from it.

Suiren slowly moved her hands to make a hand sign and says: "Water Release: Rising Water Slicer."

A small linear wave of water shoots from the ground beneath her feet, going straight toward Fuyo. The water cleaves the ground, then climbs up the pillar, cutting the web and just missing Fuyo's hand.

Fuyo: "Hey, that could have killed me."

Suiren, still stuck on the pillar says,"I was careful."

Fuyo starts weaving and says, "I will be too."

Suiren: "No! Use kunai."

"Yeah, yeah, thanks for the confidence." Fuyo completes the signs. She exhales wind-infused chakra on her kunai. With a single slash, the web was cut clean. Suiren drops to the ground, and the two walk up to their leader, Ajisai.

Fuyo: "So leader need some help"

"Nope!" Ajisai says this while summoning a mace and chain inside the web, breaking apart the web. Unsummoning the weapon and seeing the falling stones, she walks toward Akira to evacuate. Meanwhile, Naruto is still trying to get Sakura out. The web is too tough for a simple kunai to cut. 

Ting!

Naruto accidentally cut the hair of Sakura. Seeing the damage, Sakura's anger reached its peak. peak,"NARUTO!". She pushed her hand into the pillar, causing the pillar to crack and break down. She broke out of the web and punched him in the head. On the other hand, Sasame broke out with her chakra-coated Kunai and ran toward Arashi, who was lying on the ground.

Arashi looked upto her, "Sasame-chan!". 

Sasame: "Nee-san!"

Arashi who had lost all the strength in his body and gained clarity from his delusion and knew it's the end, says,"Sorry, Sasame I failed to become strong. I am sorry for leaving you behind."

Sasame cried ,"Nee-san...."

Crunch!

The rocks from the roof started falling on her. Arashi protects her from falling damage.

"Let's go" Jiraya said, carrying an injured Fuma clan shinobi while riding on a Gamahiro. Akira carried the now unconscious but still breathing Kagerō. Sakura,Naruto and other members of the team Ajisai climbed upon Gamahiro's back.

"You have to go now." Arashi stands up and tries to push Sasame away, who was still crying on his chest.

"Nee-san" Sasami cried. Arashi smiles at her and says,"You've all grown up. So take care of yourself, will you?". Sasame nods.

Arashi pats her head, then lifts her up and places her beside Jiraya. The cave starts crumbling, burying him in the rumble. Only the crying of Sasame could be heard in the silence after the collapse.

After the collapse, Akira starts diving in the caves using the Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, collecting information about the experiments.They decided to bury Arashi other Fuma clan members found dead inside the lab.

Carrying Kagerō on his back, Akira is walking with team Ajisai and team Jiraya.

"So what's the plan now" Akira asked Kagerō.

"I will stay with my clan. Will follow my clan plans." Kagerō says in her same monotone.

"Well, that's true. Your life is your own you can do whatever you want. But that's not true, since I literally revived you. Your life belongs to me now." Akira tells her.

She looked at him with hopeless eyes and surrendered herself to the situation, knowing a small ninja village can't compare to a big one and says, "Okay, I will follow your orders as long as it doesn't harm my clan."

"Sorry. Your opinion doesn't matter." Akira rejects her and continues,"From now on, you should be a little bit more selfish; maybe take more rests; you have a dark circle around your eyes. You should eat a little more; your body is a bit underdeveloped."

She was happy with the orders and had a little smile on her face. In the latter half of his words, she got a little offended and pinched his waist.

"Ouch! Okay, okay, you are very beautiful." Akira says, which gets a small hum in response.

Jiraya gave the injured Fuma Ninja back to her clan while Sasame was saying goodbye to team Naruto and team Ajisai. He places Kagerō back on the ground. She looks up to him and opens her arms.

"You want a hug?" Akira asks with a smile. Kagerō nods in agreement.Akira hugs her while, releasing the hug Kagerō kisses him on the cheek. Akira was surprised.

Kagerō looked at him and said," Come back sometimes! I will be waiting."

Akira: "Of course I will be back."

Looking at the team Jiraya he says, "Okay it's time for us to leave."

Jiraya: "Are you going to be okay? You failed to find any clue about Orochimaru's whereabouts, Hanzo might not be happy with the results."

Akira showed him the scrolls, "Well I got all this knowledge, I think it will suffice. What about the friend Naruto and Sakura were trying to save?"

Jiraya: "I already copied the lab information from his base with this. I bet Tsunade and the others will be able to find the cure."

"Okay, good luck to you. I hope your friend gets better." Akira says this to Naruto and Sakura.

Sakura bowed and says," Thank you for your help."

Akira looks at his team and nods. 

Fuyo: "It wasn't bad working with you."

Suiren: "Pleasure to work with you."

Ajisai places her hand forward and says, "It was good working with you all, and thank you for protecting sensei."

Naruto gives his iconic smile, shakes her hand, and says," You were a pretty good teammate too. As for protecting a teammate is my ninja way."

Akira and Team Ajisai wave goodbye to all of them. Toward the end, Akira shouts and says, "Naruto don't forget to invite us when you become hokage."

Naruto shouts back, "I will. Don't forget to visit me when you come to Konoha."

Team Akira starts their long journey back home.

Ajisai asks him, "Sensei, do you think an idiot like him can become a hokage?"

Akira turns to her, smiles and says, "You better believe it!"
