Meeting the male leads

"It's completely empty. Someone emptied out everything in a span of a day. How peculiar." A guy wearing black gloves walks up. His tied up red hair was strikingly obvious, making Asterin slightly thankful that her hair was a shade darker.

"Wasn't everything still here yesterday? I wonder what happened. Whatever it is, it sounds fun. Wouldn't you agree, Aaron?" A black haired guy walked up, hands in pockets.

Asterin observed both of them. They were both wearing remarkably similar clothing. A plain white shirt and black pants topped with sport shoes. The only difference was that the red haired guy had black gloves on.

The black haired guy turned around, letting Asterin catch a glimpse of his face. Sucking in a deep breath, she inwardly cursed. The worst person you could wish to meet right now, one of the male leads.

With styled black hair and pure black eyes, this was definitely the sadistic smiling Ezra Jo. And the other one with tied up red hair could only be his dear friend, Aaron Rox.

Aaron turned around, his deep purple eyes visible. Frowning, he muttered something. A gust of wind swept through the entire floor. Aaron turned his eyes towards the bed Asterin was hiding underneath. "There's someone underneath." Aaron unhesitatingly went to the bed, looking at the bottom. Ezra smiled, watching from afar.

Asterin sighed heavily. Rolling out before Aaron could fully try and look beneath, she raised her hands sighing. In the end, she couldn't escape the trope. Now they will have a strange impression of a red haired girl. Preparing to leave, she was caught off guard by a hand touching her arm.

"Eria, what are you doing here." A statement, not a question. Asterin could vaguely see the energy pilling up in Aaron's hand. Frowning, she shook of the hand on her arm. "Stop, I can see you doing that. Do I know you? I don't seem to have any relations with you."

Aaron looked dumbfounded. He seemed to sink into thinking for a few seconds before returning to a neutral look. He indifferently glanced at Asterin, whose hackles were raised.

The energy that emitted from Aaron definitely wasn't a kind energy. Even her body, which hasn't learned how to control the energies all too well, was responding. 'So this is the power of the wind, huh.' Asterin thought.

"Well, if you don't want to admit our relationship, I'm perfectly fine with that." Asterin looked at Aaron who said those words with a neutral face.

Asterin forcefully held down her left hand. It would be terribly unwise to hit a male lead, especially when Aaron had wind powers and Ezra had his lightning. Asterin opted to turn around, lying down on the bed. Aaron, frowning, pulled the intensely staring Ezra away.

Asterin melted. The pressure that the male leads emitted was rather frightening. If it weren't for all the knowledge about the game she had, she wouldn't be able to stand the pressure, opting to just cry in fear instead.

"However, it is surprising that I saw the male leads. This really proves I'm in YMAZ huh. Goddamnit." Asterin paused. "Wait… why were the two male leads together? Weren't they the enemies for each of their respective routes? This wasn't shown in the game at all." In the game, the male leads didn't get along to well.

Some of them were the villains for another route. In this case, as two best friends that fell for the same girl, they both fought over her in their respective routes. There was never a point of time they didn't fight.

"So this means… I'm probably in an exceedingly early stage of the game. Even earlier then the first meeting with any of the routes. How strange." Asterin fully relaxed, sinking into the mattress. Sighing, she covered herself.

The night had come surprisingly fast, and Asterin was extremely tired. Opting to curl up into a ball in the mattress, she envisioned an ice wall surrounding her, barely awake to see the powers work. Falling into a deep slumber, she slept peacefully.

Asterin woke up shivering. Looking around and staring at the ice wall, she cursed inwardly. It definitely wasn't a good idea to place a zero degree wall to protect her. Pulling the blanket along, she melted the ice using a fireball. Creating a small hole, she climbed out, looking out the massive windows of the supermarket.

The surroundings of the supermarket were packed densely with zombies. Asterin cursed. This was probably Ezra's doing, considering how sadistic he was. He definitely had some sort of hand in this. Now refreshed, Asterin cursed out Ezra, before turning to think about Aaron.

In the game, Aaron actually didn't bother with many people, choosing to instead pretend that most of them didn't exist. According to the game, he had some sort of superiority complex, which made him believe that most people were below him.

For him to even bother talking to Asterin… furthermore calling out the original body's name… and how he talked to Asterin... As Asterin thought of this, she paused. There was a big mirror on one of the walls, in which she caught her own reflection.

Luscious, red locks of hair hung down, paired with a set of pretty purple eyes. 'It couldn't be…' Aaron had red hair and purple eyes as well… Asterin cursed.

Knowing isekai novels, one of their most loved tropes were to make it so that there were strange new plots that pop up randomly.

Things like a demon king popping up, or a random sibling… in this case, following the tropes, it was highly likely that the original body's owner, Eria, was somehow related to Aaron.

"This sucks." Asterin walked down slowly. All the floors were now empty, so she could only go down and kill zombies. Honing her skill in using ice, she effectively massacred the zombies, pulling out their nuclei.

Speaking of which, Asterin had decided that it was better to hide her multiple powers. In the event that something happened, she didn't want to turn into a specimen in a lab.

The surroundings gradually became clear. As Asterin walked back to the house, she didn't notice the two people standing just slightly away. Ezra looked at Asterin, interested. Aaron, on the other hand, was frowning.

"So, what's your verdict?" Ezra kicked a stone, watching it bounce away. A zombie, drawn in by the sound, wandered towards it. Another stone flew in the zombie's direction. Fueled by lightning, the zombie's head was directly pierced with the stone, falling to the ground.

"It's not her. This is someone different. Its either that, or she had a split personality that I didn't know about." Aaron spoke, staring at the zombie with disgust. A wind current snaked towards the zombie, gently grabbing out the nuclei with great precision. It shot towards Ezra, who caught it smoothly.

"Hm, it could be memory loss as well. Then again, I've never seen a memory loss like this one." Ezra kept the nuclei, smiling. "How interesting…"

Aaron frowned. "The supermarket has been cleaned up, we shouldn't dally here any longer. We need to reach the established bases soon."

With that Aaron walked away. Ezra casted one more glance in Asterin's direction. A flash of light passed through his eyes as he turned to Aaron and followed him.
