The power of the Dream Catcher Spell was the same spell that Kyros used to awaken the second member of the Trinity, Noxus.
The spell was in Emeros's memories but impossible to create. Emeros needed a massive amount of energy to awaken it and brand his body with the incredible power of Mysterion.
Ever since he started his journey, Emeros knew that Mysterion would be a powerful energy that would allow him to harness parts of the darkness that Kyros and Noxus once wielded.
This was the first step to attaining the power of Light and Darkness and gaining Skotos Eis Phos.
But there never was an opportunity to harness such power that already wielded the great darkness. But Hemmis was this being! He was a powerful practitioner of Black Magic and managed to keep this a secret until he opened the seal and was cursed.
