Chapter Twenty-Five

The first time I came to my body felt heavy and like I had gotten drunk. I didn't have enough energy to fully open my eyes so all I could see past my eyelashes were orbs of lights. The second time I came to I had a ringing in my ears and a pounding in my head. It was honestly the worst thing ever and I still couldn't muster the energy to open my eyes fully, so all I could still take in were orbs of lights and my eyelashes. I gladly welcomed unconsciousness as it was a needed peacefulness from my pain.
