24 Chapter Twenty-Four

I woke up with a shiver and Nikkos arm tossed over my waist. All it took was one glance at him to know that he was out cold. I shivered again and looked around to locate the source of my coldness. I found the window was open and the ocean breeze was coming in with every blow. It made me wonder how Nikkos was sleeping through such coldness, but when I went to move his arm and felt how hot he was, it all made sense. Nikkos clearly had great body temperature regulation or he just ran warmer.
