__________ POV Beru__________

Now, how exactly should I go about things?

Most of the people that were involved within the country are already on their way to being captured.

I made Don, my shitty clone, and his goons make sure that none of them flees the country. Kenji also acted quickly enough, allowing me to somewhat fulfil my 'one week promise' from a few days back.

There have only been 4 days though, so there's no need to lose my cool. I've basically got this in the bag.

For 'If there is no evidence on someone, one should merely fabricate it.' Or at least that's what Yori suggested.

There are a few people that we know for sure were involved, but that we can't really prove to have been involved, at least not in such a short time frame. So we might just end up winging it with them.

Put shit charges on them with the help of Kenji to make sure they don't flee the country(Don can't cover everything all the time) and then gather evidence for the actual case.

Currently, I have quite a lot of paperwork to deal with... For what exactly?

Well, Kenji is helping me, but he alone can't really handle the logistics of arresting over half of the government. So I'm obviously helping him since we're working together now.

It's pretty apparent that his opinion of me isn't low anymore, he seems to respect me somewhat due to the way I handled the riots all over the country.

Really, I didn't realize my words would have that big an impact on the people of Japan, I guess that means my standing is at a level similar to that of All Might and Endeavor?

Well, I guess Endeavor is in pretty hot waters right now, not exactly the most loved figure since the matter of his son being a villain came about.

But hey, he's still got influence, and he certainly stands out for the rest of the heroes. Even within the top 10.

I always found it odd that I don't really appear on that stupid list. But I guess that's because my positioning would be controversial regardless of where it is, so the ones making the lists are just avoiding that.

Well, whatever.

I guess I should be more concerned that the shadows in the room are acting oddly...

I mean, they're sometimes moving for no reason. One wouldn't usually notice stuff like this, but I guess seeing the world in slow motion is still as overpowered as ever.

I doubt this is anything serious though. I've seen weirder things in Kyudai's lab.

Hmm? Since when has this weird bloke been standing behind me?

__________ POV Narration__________

Alf Schumacher was nothing more than a regular German man. Regular height, black hair, black moustache, white skin. He always loved dressing formally.

He liked many things in the world, he loved to travel, to eat exotic foods, to meet new people...

He also liked to go by many names. One of them being 'Crazed Ghost'. That was a name many knew in the underworld.

It was a name that created waves within the underworld. Fear and panic were a regular reaction to hearing his name.

Why? Well... He was one of the most powerful and 'controversial' hitmen to ever live. He was well known for never failing any of his missions. His history was well documented in the underworld, but he wasn't a known face to the rest of the world.

Some would argue that a good hitman is not a known one, but when one has the skill he is noticed... Or rather he isn't.

At least that was the case with Alf, his assassinations were always carried out perfectly, no one ever noticed anything happening until it was too late.

People could only contact him from a payphone to a very specific number that tended to change week to week.

People only took notice of him after he got to kill hundreds of people.

Even then, he wasn't all as normal as he liked to look to the rest of the world.

Not only did his head hide the dark secrets of his trade and the way he carried it, but his mind was also tinged with insanity that few could ever dream of mimicking.

He was known for mutilating his victims, especially if they had an appearance he somewhat disliked. Ruthless and psychotic were some of the things people would describe his 'works'.

He also had a habit of somewhat ignoring the details of his missions, killing people sometimes unrelated to it or that were specifically asked to be spared.

He was quite shocked to get contacted by none other than Vladislav Grigorev himself. A man that he had worked with in the past. The grandson of the 'most dangerous man alive' Vladimir Grigorev.

Alf was quite happy to hear about such a high paying job, he was even happier when seeing his target.

He quite disliked inhuman looking individuals, and killing Nezu wouldn't even feel like killing a human to him, not that it made much of a difference at this point.

What mattered the most was his secondary target, he was asked to watch over Beru and report on his moves. He decided to start with that while looking for some opportunity to kill Nezu.

A rather simple mission... But something else was bothering the assassin.

The more he stood near Beru, the more he wanted to kill him. Beru's appearance disgusted the man to no extent.

So, he decided to not waste his time any further. 'No one's going to miss an overgrown bug anyway...'

Alf may have had some knowledge about who Beru was, but he was also confident in being able to assassinate just about everybody. So his pride didn't even let him consider failure.

He decided to finally show himself to Beru, stepping out of the Shadow of the insectoid's chair while stilling his heart and holding his breath. He didn't make his presence known yet, but Beru was already aware of his presence.

Just as he was about to bring down a knife into Beru's head, the insectoid in question caught the knife in between his fingers.

"Well~ThAt'S nO wAy To gReEt SoMeOne~" Beru's words were spoken in a tone that managed to freeze the assassin in his tracks.

It was a cold, distorted voice that came out of the insectoid's mouth. But it also had something else to it that Alf could recognize... An unquenchable thirst for blood.
