Trespassing

"Come on, I can hear water running" said Albert as he smiled and Christina shook her head as she followed after Albert as he walked quickly in a rush.

"Aha, there is a waterfall here" said Albert as he smiled and he turned around the corner, and there it was a little waterfall that ran into a clear stream.

"I never expected to find a waterfall here of all places" said Christina as she was surprised, who knew that there was a waterfall in the Forest that was apparently dangerous, she wondered where the water ran from.

"This place seems to hold many secrets" said Albert as he smiled and he bent down by the stream as he could see his reflection in it as clear as a mirror, and he saw Christina walked closer towards him as she bent down beside him and she looked at herself in the water.

"Oh just great, look at my hair" said Christina to herself as she sighed and she picked out the few leaves she could see that were stuck in her hair.

"The water is enchanted" said Albert as he dipped his hand in the stream and the area he dipped his hand in became as blue as the sky above.

"That explains why it's so clear" said Christina, as this water was obviously not safe to drink at all, it was dangerous.

"That means that there are no fishes or any sort of life form in there right?" asked Christina as she turned to look at Albert.

"Yes, according to biologia, no sort of life form can thrive in enchanted waters, and even if they do, they will adapt in a negative way, which will result in a quick death" said Albert as he explained, the only reason he could touch the water with no fear at all was because the toxins in the water would not affect Witch flesh.

"My Question is where is the source of this waterfall?" asked Christina as from what she knew, there was always a source of a waterfall.

"Probably up north, I am sure of it" said Albert.

"This still doesn't make sense to me" said Christina.

"I mean, I don't know why, but I feel like this place is inhabited" said Christina.

"By an animal?" asked Albert as he turned to look at Christina.

"No… by something else… but I am not sure of what it is" said Christina as she had an uneasy feeling, and she knew that she was not overreacting, they were being watched, and she knew it.

"How about we take a swim to make you relax?" asked Albert as he smiled and he winked.

"No Albie, that is to dangerous, we do not know just how toxic the water truly is" said Christina as she looked at Albert, dipping your hand in the water was one thing, but your entire body? That would be a death sentence, if the water had been poisoned, the poison would enter your entire system through your skin easily.

"I guess you are right" said Albert as he smiled and he looked at Christina.

"You always were the smart one" said Albert as he smiled.

"I am smart yes, but I also have common sense" said Christina.

"And that's why I like you so much" said Albert as he smiled.

"Oh don't say nonsense Albie, this is not the time for your jokes" said Christina as she scoffed and she looked away, how could she take him seriously when he always made jokes that were not funny at all.

"Who said that I was joking?" asked Albert as he smiled and Christina turned to look at him, as she did not know whether to smile back at him, or hit his head for him saying such sweet words at this point in time, it really annoyed her, he had bad timing.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here" came the rough voice of a man as he clapped with every step he took and he smiled a chilling smile as both Christina and Albert immediately stood up as they turned to look at the foreign man.

"Well if it isn't the young Prince and his girlfriend" said the man as he laughed in a mocking tone.

"Rogue!" hissed Albert as he could smell the stench of the vampire, from his blood red eyes, to his strong figure and his brown messy hair.

"Vampire!" hissed Christina as she and Albert immediately became hostile.

Rogues were the worst of the worst, they were absolute scum, all they cared about was bloodshed and nothing more, and that made them the most dangerous creature in all the realms.

"What are you doing here, this is not your territory!" hissed Albert, there was a clear border between the Vampire Realm and the Witch Realm, and this was obviously not the Vampire Realm.

"I should be asking you the same question boy" said the rogue as he hissed.

"This Forest is mine, no one ever comes here" said the rogue as he laughed and Christina and Albert looked at each other as they looked back at the rogue.

"This is Witch Realm territory, you are trespassing, which means that if we kill you, it will be no crime under law" said Albert, his Father had made him read all the Witch laws, so he knew all of them by heart.

"Like you two puny children can kill me" said the Rogue in a mocking tone.

"You'll see" said Christina as she immediately tied her hair into a ponytail and she removed the paper clip from her back pocket as it turned into a sword as she held it firmly in her hand.

"You are feisty little girl, I like it, alas, it will get you nowhere but dead" said the rogue as he laughed.

"We will see about that" said Christina with determination as she held the sword in her hand and she quickly dashed with her sword to hit the vampire, you had to strike your opponent first, before they could have a chance to strike you.

"What a very feisty little girl" said the rouge as he used his elbow to stop Christina's attack as her sword did not even graze his skin at all.

Christina was in shock, her blade was enchanted, it was unbreakable, her blade could not be shattered at all, which meant that the skin of this rogue was enchanted as well, for her blade not being able to cut his flesh at all.

Christina quickly snapped out of her shocked state as she heard the chillingly, mocking laugh of the rogue as he laughed, he looked proud of himself, like this was just going to be all fun and games for him.

Christina quickly retracted her sword as she lunged back at him as this time he kept on dodging, he looked like he was enjoying this.

Christina already had a battle strategy, she would make him loose his guard, he would get too cocky and loose his guard and then she would get him in a hold, and then she would be able to cast a freeze spell on him, because it was clear that she would not be able to beat him normally.

Christina kept going on as Albert just stood there, in shock, he did not have a sword with him, so he could not help Christina and he did not know what she was planning and he did not want to ruin her plan.

The rogue took two steps back as he almost slipped and Christina took that opening as she thrusted her sword straight into his abdomen as it went through him and Christina smiled, but her victory was short lived when she was caught in shock as the vampire looked like nothing happened to him at all.

He just chuckled as he pulled out the sword from his abdomen and his wound healed in an instant, as Christina was now scared, she was not dealing with an ordinary rogue at all, she was so scared that she forgot about her plan.

"You don't play fair little girl" said the rogue as he laughed and in one swift motion he took Christina's sword from her hand and he thrusted her own sword into her abdomen as he threw her and she landed at the bark of one of the mighty trees as she coughed.

"Christina!!" called Albert as he snapped out of his shock and he ran to Christina as he bent down beside her.

"Albie…" called out Christina as she had her eyes closed and she coughed, she had been hit with her own sword, the irony.

"Christina, don't worry, you will be alright" said Albert as he panicked he did not know what to do, he could see her bleeding already.

"Ugh…" said Christina as she groaned she felt so dizzy, she would have been already dead if not for the fact that she was harmed by her own sword, the poison would not take full effect on her till she cried, that was how the spell on her sword worked, in case a knight wanted to kill himself with his own weapon.

"Haha" laughed the rogue as Albert did not pay any attention to him at all, he was focused on making sure that Christina would be okay.

Albert was panicking, but he did not have time for that at all, he had to heal Christina now.

"Chrissy, this is going to hurt okay?" asked Albert as he was panicked.

"It's alright Albie, I won't scream, pull it out, and do it quickly" said Christina as she was biting her tongue, the sheer amount of pain that she was feeling right now was excruciating.

"Alright" said Albert as he braced himself, he wanted to count down, but he knew that would only make Christina feel more pain, so without warning, he quickly pulled out the sword, the blade was stained red with flesh blood.

Albert quickly put the sword down on the ground and he placed both his hands on Christina's open wound as she bit the insides of her cheeks and she closed her eyes as she breathed heavily in and out.

"Pain is only in the mind, pain is only in the mind" said Christina to herself as she recited those words like a mantra.

Albert closed his eyes as he applied pressure with both his hands on the wound, his hands were covered with blood, and he murmured a spell under his breath as in an instant, Christina's physical wounds began to heal, and his blood soaked hands were no more as he opened his eyes again.

Christina sighed as she began to feel sleepy, she opened her eyes and she closed them up again as her breathing slowed down.

"Chrissy, I'm sorry, so sorry" said Albert as this was all his fault, if only he had let them stay in the Castle, then this would not have happened at all.

Albert took one look at Christina's dozing face.

"It…It's… alr…ight…Al…bie…" said Christina as she was finding it hard to speak, her body had gone into shut down mode in order to stop the poison from spreading to any other parts of her body.

"I'm sorry" said Albert once again as Christina drifted into slumber.

"You will pay for this!" said Albert as he stood up and he turned to look at the rogue who seemed to be enjoying the show.

"Awww, the little prince is upset because his girlfriend is on the verge of dying" said the rogue as he laughed mockingly.

Albert grunted as he thought of a plan, he could not fight the rogue, Christina was better at sword fighting than him, and if she failed he would die as well, the only option would be to cast a spell, but his spells were not powerful enough.

"Well this has been fun, but I have places to be, I am sure the King of the Witch Realm would do anything to get the dead body of his son, and his girlfriend" said the rogue as he laughed and in one quick motion he moved towards Albert as he raised him up in the air with his right hand and he began to strangle Albert as Albert gasped for air.

"Goodbye Prince" said the rogue as he strangled Albert even more, Albert was starting to lose consciousness as his head was getting lighter and his eyes were beginning to close on their own, he could not utter a spell, not now, not at this moment.

He was about to drift into unconsciousness when it felt like an invisible force woke him up, it told him to keep his eyes open, he struggled to do so, but he did in the end.

As he looked at the Vampire face to face, he felt nothing but disgust, the pure bliss in the blood red eyes of the Vampire as he smiled in victory, it irked him, he was not going to die to this rogue, no, he was not!

The rogue was laughing maniacally, as he looked into Albert's eyes as Albert stared at him with anger.

The rogue suddenly felt his voice cease as he stopped laughing, he looked at the boy who he was still strangling, his grip had loosened, and the eyes of the boy were no longer brown, but they were green, bright green.

The Vampire felt like life was being drained out of him, he could not longer breath, and he could not look away as he felt like he was glued to Albert's eyes, he started to dry up from the inside, and before he knew it, the rouge was reduced to nothing but a pile of dust.

Albert fell down to the ground as he coughed and he looked up, his eyes were still green, bright green, he quickly remembered Christina, he had to get her help now, he stood up and he rushed to her as he carried her in his arms and he casted a floating spell as they went flying up in the air.
