"Don't go there Chrissy" said Albert as he sighed and he sat back down at his desk, that day was one of the worst memories of his life.
"No Albie, I will go there, and you will sit here and listen to me" said Christina as she was not going to let this slide.
"Do you remember how poisoned I was?" asked Christina.
"How can I forget?" asked Albert as he looked up at Christina and he sighed, he could never forget, he always blamed himself for what happened to Christina, he was even relieved that she had managed to make it out of the horrible experience.
"It took me three days to be detoxified, and another three on best rest for my internal wounds to be healed" said Christina as she looked at Albert, from that day on Albert changed with her, he was no longer mean or annoying, but he would always look out for her, treating her like she was someone he cared for a lot.
"You don't know how worried I was.. because it was my fault… I caused it, I was the one that insisted that we go to the Forest, and you tried to talk me out of it, you only went along with me to protect me" said Albert as he smiled.
"Albie, I don't regret that day" said Christina as Albert looked at her.
"Yes, not at all Albie…" said Christina.
"Because that day, you stopped being a boy… you became a man" said Christina.
"And not only in strength or in power, but in mind and thought as well" said Christina.
"You stopped being childish, and you finally reached maturity" said Christina as Albert looked at her, at that time, his eyes had stayed green for three days, he did not even notice until the third day, he had been too worried about Christina to ask why everyone looked at him weirdly.
"I put you in danger, regardless of if I became mature or not, I still put you in danger" said Albert.
"Oh I know that Albie, yes I do and I agree with you" said Christina.
"But you were not the only one responsible for putting me in danger… because I myself agreed to go with you" said Christina.
"Because I would go to the ends of the earth with you Albie… I would enter into danger with you… and you know why?" asked Christina as Albert kept quiet.
"Because I love you…" said Christina.
"I love you Albie, I always have and I always will" said Christina as she smiled.
"But I still do not forgive myself for that day Chrissy" said Albert as he sighed.
"All the scolding of my father, of my mother, and of your father did not matter to me, all I wanted was for you to be alright, to be okay, and come back to me" said Albert.
"And I did, didn't I?" asked Christina as she smiled and Albert replied.
"I am here, with you am I not?" asked Christina as she smiled and Albert nodded his head, he never knew just how much Christina meant to him until that day, the mere thought of losing her killed him on the inside, because it would be his fault, all his fault.
"Look Albie… I loved you since we were children, but you were always so stupid and big headed to notice" said Christina.
"And it got even worse when we became teenagers, which is why I tried to forget you, but I could not" said Christina.
"We grew up in this Castle together, our entire lives contained in these walls" said Christina as she smiled.
"In this same Castle, right out there in the garden, on my 20th Birthday, you told me that you love me" said Christina as she smiled.
"Right out there Albie, you told me to marry you, and be your Queen, and I said yes" said Christina as she smiled and she looked intently at Albert as he could not bear to look at her.
"We got married in this same Castle, and in this same Castle my son… our son, our precious bundle of Joy Ollie was born" said Christina as she smiled.
"Do you remember how nervous you were? Do you remember how you held him so gently in your arms for the first time?" asked Christina as she smiled and Albert could not help but smile as well at such fond memories.
"You and I have such good history Albie" said Christina as she smiled and Albert looked at her.
"We have lived our lives" said Christina.
"And now it is time for our son to live his" said Christina.
"He needs to experience new experiences, go out and see the world on his own, make new friends, and find his own love, just like you and I have" said Christina as she smiled.
"He can do all this, within these walls, he does not need to go out there and harm himself" said Albert.
"Oh Albie" said Christina as she smiled.
"I made a mistake, and I do not want him to do the same" said Albert as he sighed.
"Would you have learnt if you had not made your own mistakes?" asked Christina as Albert kept quiet.
"Let the boy make his own mistakes my love, it builds character and experience" said Christina as she smiled.
"I will not put the life of my son in danger in the name of making his own mistake that could obviously be avoided" said Albert as he raised his voice.
"You being overprotective will do him more harm than good" said Christina as she raised her voice as well.
"Christina!" called Albert.
"What did you just call me?" asked Christina as she looked at Albert.
"I meant Chrissy" said Albert as he corrected himself.
"Oh you better have Albie" said Christina as she scoffed, he knew just how much she did not like it when he called her by her name like that, it made him sound like her father, and Christina said that he was not, he was her husband and they were equals, there was no need for him to use a commanding tone with her.
"Look Chrissy, I just don't want to do anything that I will regret" said Albert.
"Oh Albie…" said Christina as she sighed.
"You are still as stubborn as always" she said as she laughed.
"Our son will be fine" said Christina as she laughed.
"He looks like me, but acts like you" said Christina.
"You and him are cut from the same cloth" said Christina.
"A hard hand never worked on you, and you know that" said Christina.
"He is just as stubborn as you are, and if you don't let him do what he wants, he will find his own way" said Christina as Albert sighed.
"I am scared" said Albert as he sighed.
"Then don't be Albie" said Christina as she smiled and she walked closer to him and she held his hand.
"He will be fine, he is stronger than you think, he is our son" said Christina as she smiled and she kissed the back of Albert's hand.
"Come on Albie, don't fight anymore, don't argue, just let him go" said Christina as she smiled and Albert sighed as he looked into her eyes, how could he say no to her request when she put it that way?
She was always right, and that annoyed him sometimes, could he not just have his was for once.
"*Sigh*, There is no room for refusal is there now?" asked Albert as he sighed.
"Not at all" said Christina as she smiled and she shook her head.
"Fine, alright, he can go" said Albert as he sighed, he wondered if he was being soft by always granting her whatever she wished for.
"Thank you Albie, my love, that's why I love you, because you always listen, and you have a good heart" said Christina as she smiled and she kissed Albert on his right cheek.
"Mhmm" said Albert as he knew that she was just coaxing him.
"I will speak to him later… when he has calmed down" said Albert as in all his life, he had not seen his son speak in such a way to him before, he really sounded angry, like he had not been granted justice.
"That is a good idea Albie, Ollie was really upset this evening, very, very upset" said Christina a she frowned.
"I just hope that he would want to speak to me" said Albert.
"Oh Albie, you worry to much, he will calm down, he won't stay angry for long, he is my son after all" said Christina as she smiled.
"I thought you said that he is our son" said Albert.
"Ours, mine, anyway he is still a child" said Christina as she smiled.
"That you are right about" said Albert as he sighed and he kissed the back of Christina's hand.
