"So that's the plan?" asked Matt as he was reading a book.

"Yes it is" replied Annie

"Okay that sounds like a great plan, I am sure that Maddie will love it" said Matt

"Hehe yes" said Annie

Annie, Matt and Maddie were all together in the library, Annie came here in the name of studying when she actually wanted to talk to Matt, and Maddie decided to tag along with her.

So in the end Maddie, Annie were all reading different books, Maddie was concentrating on what she was reading, while Annie and Matt were talking in their minds.

"So when is your birthday?" asked Annie curiously

"Ahh well it's in March" replied Matt

"Wait March?? but that was last month why didn't you tell me?" asked Annie

"Ahh well remember that last month, me and my family went to visit my Grandfather, so he was overjoyed to celebrate my birthday for me" said Matt

"That still does not explain why you didn't tell me" said Annie

"Ahh well I did not see any reason to, you were not going to be able to be there anyway, because of your training and all" said Matt

"So what?? that's not fair, I could have prepared a gift for you in advance" said Annie

"I didn't want you to trouble yourself over nothing important" said Matt

"Oh so it's nothing to you?" asked Annie

"Well then fine, Goodbye Matthew" said Annie as she disconnected the mind link, and looked down at her book in anger.

"Hey guys, come and look at this" said Maddie as she looked up from her book and looked at Annie and Matt who were sitting in the sofas' right across each other.

"What is it Maddie?" asked Matt as he walked over to her

"Hey Annie's what's wrong?" asked Maddie as she noticed that Annie was angry.

"It's nothing Maddie, I am just tired, I will see you later" she said as she smiled as Maddie and ignored Matt totally as she walked out of the library with the book in her hand.

"No wait?? what happened? why is Annie so upset all of a sudden?" asked Maddie

"I have no idea" replied Matt

"No, you must have done something, didn't you? because she was fine, till you stood up and came over here." said Maddie as she looked at Matt with judging eyes.

"What are you saying? I did not do anything" said Matt

"Well I don't care, all I know is that you better fix it, look how angry Annie looks" said Maddie

"Okay okay" said Matt as he could not believe that Maddie was being so annoying right now.

"Good" said Maddie

Meanwhile later that day.

Matt had tried to talk to Annie and apologize to her, but she would not even look at him, she was really angry, this was the first time that Matt had seen Annie so angry.

So he went to the only place he knew that he could get advice from... that was none other than Evie's room, where he knew she was busy being lazy as always.

"Hey Evie" said Matt as he knocked on her door.

"Come in" said Evie

"Hi Evie" said Matt

"Helloo Matt" said Evie as she had an apple in her hand.

"So what is it?" asked Evie

"How do you know that I have something to ask you?" asked Matt

"Well why else would you be here?" asked Evie

"Okay good point" said Matt as he sat down on her bed.

"So what's wrong?" asked Evie

"Well Annie is upset with me" said Matt

"What why?" asked Evie

"Well because I did not tell her when my birthday was" said Matt

"*Gasp* are you serious??? I thought that you did" said Evie

"Well I didn't, and I don't get what the big deal is" said Matt

"Are you stupid Matt??" asked Evie as she looked at her so called older brother in disbelief.

"Hey" said Matt as he looked at Evie with a warning look.

"No because it's the truth, If I was Annie I would make sure not to even set my eyes on you again" said Evie as she took a bite out of her red apple.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Matt

"*Sigh* My innocent naïve brother, can't you see what is going on here?" said Evie as she sighed, and he was supposed to be the mature one here, but here she was giving him relationship advice *Sigh* the work of a sister was never easy.

"No what is going on?" asked Matt

"Gosh Matt, Annie is upset with you because you did not tell her about your Birthday" said Evie

"Yes I know" replied Matt

"Yes, but you don't seem to understand, that she's angry because she cares for you" said Evie

"What?" asked Matt

"Yes, Matt, why else would she be angry? You were there for her birthday and she wanted to be there for yours" said Evie

"And apart from that that was not just some Birthday Party, it was 18th Birthday, and you call yourself her friend" said Evie

"It might not seem like such a big deal to you, but it was to her" said Evie

What Evie just said, slapped Matt hard in the face, it was all true, no wonder Annie was so upset at him, he would have never missed her birthday for anything in the world (the witch realm, vampire included) and it only made sense for her to wish the same.

"I messed up" said Matt

"You think" said Evie like she was stating the obvious.

"Yeah yeah" said Matt

"Anyway, do you need my help? Because I still need Annie to be my sister-in-law regardless of if you mess up or not" said Evie, but she left that last part out, as she still wanted to be alive today.

"No, don't worry, I will handle it myself, I really did mess up, so let me fix it" said Matt

"Ooh okay Goodluck then" said Evie

"While you go do that, I will continue with the plan hehe" said Evie as she laughed.

"Okay then, see you Evie, and Thank you" said Matt

"Haha, you are welcome, If I'm not here who else would give you quality advice" said Evie as she smiled smugly.

"Yeah Mhmm last time I checked, I also have 3 other sisters" said Matt

"Yes, but are they as well skilled in the relationship department" said Evie proudly.

"Oh okay, then miss relationship expert, I am sure mom will not approve of your new profession" said Matt

"Ahh well don't you have some apologizing to do?" said Evie as she shooed him away.

"Mhmm" said Matt as he walked away, he would tease Evie some more, another time, but for now he really did have somewhere better to be, and someone to apologize to.

...

"Hey Annie, wait" said Matt as he was walking in the hallway and he saw Annie who immediately ignored him an turned the other way.

"Annie stop" said Matt as he ran quickly with his vampire speed and he held Annie's hand before she could even blink.

"How di-??" asked Annie in shock, until she realized the answer to her question.

"What do you want?" asked Annie as she maintained her angry face

"I want us to talk" said Matt

"Fine, we are already talking are we not?" asked Annie

"Yes, we are" said Matt as he let go for her hand.

"So what is it?" asked Annie

"Annie I am sorry" said Matt

"For what?" asked Annie as she feigned ignorance

"I am sorry for not telling you about my Birthday, it was wrong of me to think that something like that was not important to you, I know that you only wanted to know more things about me and I shunned it as not important, and for that I am sorry" said Matt

"Hmm" said Annie as she looked away.

"So am I forgiven?" asked Matt as he saw that Annie had calmed down.

"I promise to make it up to you" said Matt as he saw that Annie did not reply.

"How?" asked Annie with a raised eyebrow.

"I will not speak until you forgive me" said Matt

"What no way" said Annie but Matt didn't reply he just looked at her quietly and nodded his head.

"Well okay fine suit yourself" said Annie as she walked away, thinking that Matt would stop his nonsense and start talking again, but to her surprise he did not.

"Okay fineeee, I forgive you" said Annie as she turned around and rolled her eyes.

"Yayyyyyyyy, Thank you" said Matt as he smiled and hugged Annie

"Okay, okay put me down now" said Annie as she laughed.

"Okay" said Matt

"I really will make it up to you" said Matt

"Haha well okay, I will be waiting" said Annie as she smiled.

Meanwhile back in Maddie and Annie's room.

"So have you two made up now?" asked Maddie

"Haha yes, we have Maddie" said Annie as she smiled.

"Ahhh Phew that was tiring, anyway what caused your fight anyway?" asked Maddie out of curiosity.

"Well Matt over here" said Annie as she looked at Matt

"Did not tell us that his Birthday was last month" said Annie

"No wait what??" said Maddie

"How could you" said Maddie

"Oh no, don't be angry at me too, I just got Annie to forgive me" said Matt

"Oooh well only for the sake of Annie, I will not be angry with you, but in order for me to forgive you completely you must give Evie what she has been asking for all this time for her birthday" said Maddie with a smile on her face,

"Aww no way, you both know what she wants me to do, and it's embarrassing" said Matt

"But that's the only way I can forgive you" said Maddie

"Annie say something" said Matt as he turned to look at Annie

"Haha well I would love to see you dance" said Annie as she laughed.

"Aww what" said Matt

"Haha then it's settled" said Maddie

"Yayyyyy" said Annie as she laughed.

A month later.

"What's wrong?" asked Maddie as she was drying her hair with a towel.

"No time to explain, just come quick" said Levi as he had just barged into Maddie's room without knocking while panting heavily.

"Huh??? what happened is everyone okay??" asked Maddie as she stood up quickly.

"Like I said, no time to explain, just hurry and come quick" said Levi as he starting running again.

"Okay" said Maddie as she threw the towel on her bed, and rushed out of the room to follow Levi, with her hair still damp.

She saw Levi's figure run to the next hallway, so she quickly followed after him barefoot, she did not have time to wear shoes when he came panting like someone was in trouble.

And all the adults had went out for a meeting, leaving only her, Annie and Matt in charge so if something was wrong then it would leave them to handle it.

She followed behind him, till he entered the dining room, and then she was caught with a surprise.

"Happy Birthday Maddie!!" said Annie, Matt, Levi, Evie and the rest of Sundew Siblings.

Maddie was shocked, the dining room was decorated and there was a happy birthday banner hanged on the celling.

Maddie turned away and looked at the ground, this was cruelty, here she was thinking that something serious was happening, and they come here doing this.

"Maddie?? are you alright?" asked Annie as she walked over and touched Maddie's back.

"I'm good" said Maddie as she looked up

"You guys, are so mean, Levi you are horrible, I thought something serious was happening" said Maddie

"Haha sorry Maddie" said Levi as he felt guilty for tricking Maddie like that, but they all knew that was the only way to get Maddie to come over here.

"I am just so surprised, when did you guys plan all this?" asked Maddie

"Haha well a month ago, this was all Evie's Idea" said Annie

"Evie of course" said Maddie

"Haha I am guilty as charged" said Evie as she smiled

"Haha Thank you, all of you, I really appreciate this" said Maddie

"This is my first Birthday Party" said Maddie as she smiled.

"We know" they said

"Haha You guys" said Maddie as she smiled and pulled all of them into a hug.

"Who wants cake?" asked Annie

"We doooo" said everyone as they smiled.
