Ice Potions

"Good Morning Uncle Capi" said Annie as she walked into the lab with a smile.

"Ahh Good Morning Annie" said Captious as he looked up and smiled back.

"So how are you today?" asked Captious

"Well I am good Uncle and how are you?" asked Annie

"I am well" said Captious

"Ahh you are good, well I know something that would make you feel even better" said Captious

"Oooh what is it?" asked Annie

"Well Stella is coming back from her trip today" said Captious as he smiled.

"Haha really??" said Annie

"That is awesome news, I really missed her" said Annie

"Haha" said Captious

"So what are we doing today?" asked Annie

"Well seeing how the weather outside is" said Captious

"Today's lesson will be about Ice Potions" said Captious

"Ooh that sounds cool" said Annie

"Haha that was a joke" said Annie as laughed and put on some rubber gloves.

"Haha okay" said Captious

"But before we do that, I want to see you make a heat potion" said Captious

"Okay uncle" said Annie as she walked over to the vials and she began to mix all sorts of ingredients together.

She poured a clear liquid into the vial, and then she added a red powdery substance that seemed like a red type of pepper, she added some black powder, along with a white one, and she gave it a zap of magic.

"Tadaa" said Annie as she smiled

"Nice work, now let's see if it works" said Captious

"Okay" said Annie as she stood back the threw the vial on the floor, this was her favourite part of potion making... testing if the potion worked.

The vial shattered on the ground and with it the potion splashed everywhere.

Captious walked over to check the area where the potion splashed on, and as he expected it was hot over that area,

"It worked" said Captious

"Haha yayyyyyy" said Annie

"Now let's move on to the next potion" said Captious

"Ice potions can be used for many things" said Captious

"They can be used to freeze someone, or poison the heart of your enemy" he said

"We have different degrees of Ice potions and each one is more powerful than the last" said Captious

"The highest level of Ice Potion that you can make, is one that in the long run, eternally freezes whoever it is used on" said Captious

"That sounds very dangerous" said Annie

"Oh it is" said Captious

"It spells imminent death for whoever it is used for, not only does it start by freezing the internal organs of the person, but it also leaves them in an ice cube kind of state" said Captious

"Umm Uncle I don't think that I would ever have use for such a potion" said Annie

"Oh I know Annie, but you must just be aware that such a potion exists" said Captious

"Umm Uncle is there a cure for this potion?" asked Annie

"Sadly no there is not" said Captious

"But you can prevent it" said Captious

"How?" asked Annie

"If you bathe in a fire ant's pool, then your body would be able to repel the frost" said Captious

"Huh what?? a fire ant's pool?? as in bathing with literal fire ants?" asked Annie

"Yes" replied Captious

"Somehow, I feel that is worse than freezing to death" said Annie

"Haha anyway, let us get back to our lesson" said Captious

"Okay Uncle" said Annie

"Now tell me what is the basic component for any Ice potion?" asked Captious

"Well Ice?" asked Annie

"Correct" said Captious

"And I happen to have a bucket of ice right here" said Captious as he carried a bucket full of ice from behind him.

"No way, where did you get that from?" asked Annie in awe as he literally pulled the bucket from thin air.

"Magic" he said

"Haha of course" said Annie

"Let's make a level 1 ice potion" said Captious

"Okay" said Annie

"This Ice Potion will instantly freeze anything it comes in contact with, for a temporary period" said Captious as he started preparing to mix the potion.

"This potion's power can vary from level to level, on the lowest level, some might use it to preserve food, and on a higher level, some may use it to preserve a biome" said Captious

"Wow a whole biome??" asked Annie in shock.

"Yes, it depends on the quantity of the potion and how many witches use it at once, on a particular area" explained Captious

"Ahh I see" said Annie as Captious sprinkled a bit of snow into a large vial.

"Watch me carefully" said Captious

"Because if not you may risk accidentally freezing yourself" said Captious

"Okay Uncle" said Annie as she watched him, very carefully.

"And there" said Captious as he finished making the potion.

"Now let's test it" he said

"Okay" said Annie

"Captious walked over to the fireplace, which was heating the room, and he threw the vial there, almost instantly the fire went out and was replaced with ice.

"Oooh that's so cool" said Annie

"And that is a basic Ice potion" said Captious as he snapped his fingers and the fire ignited itself again.

"Well that is enough for today, you can go read up on the different Ice potions in depth and then tomorrow we can do the practical aspect" said Captious

"Okay Uncle" said Annie

"You may go now" said Captious

"Okay see you later Uncle Capi" said Annie as she waved and walked out of the lab.

As soon as she walked out of the lab, she was ecstatic when she saw a certain someone walking in the direction that she was headed.

"Aunt Stella, welcome back, I missed you" said Annie as she rushed to meet her and she hugged her.

"Aww Annie dear, I missed you too, how have you been?" asked Stella as she hugged her back.

"I have been good Aunt, how was your trip?" asked Annie

"Haha It was good my dear, and happy belated birthday" said Stella

"Aww Thank you Aunt Stella" said Annie as she smiled.

"You are welcome dear" said Stella as she smiled back.

"Well dear, you can go now, I have to go to my office, there are lots of things that I have to do" said Stella

"Aww, but you just got back, you should rest first" said Annie

"Haha dear, I know, but I cannot, if I don't attend to it no one else will" explained Stella

"Okay Aunt Stella, take care" said Annie

"Thank you dear" said Stella as she smiled and waved at Annie.

Meanwhile later in Stella's office.

"So how was your trip?" asked Captious

"It was fine...stressful, but fine" said Stella

"I told you that I did not think that going over there was necessary" said Captious

"We only have 3 months left" said Stella as she looked up at Captious.

"You know how I love to do things in order, and not at the last minute" said Stella

"It is better for the resident of the Agricola realm to know what is coming, so they can be ready and willing to evacuate" said Stella

"I know, but you could have sent a representative, you did not need to go there in person" said Captious

"I know, but people love the truth, and they would take the matter seriously if I the words come directly from my mouth and not from anyone else" said Stella

"So what did you tell the residents?" asked Captious as he knew Stella could never tell them the truth, if she did, it would cause an utter pandemonium in the whole Witch realm.

"Well I told them that the council had some important and confidential matters to tend to in the Plains of Kadama" said Stella

"And what did they say?" asked Captious

"There was an uproar at first, with every witch complaining of how they would survive and work without the use of their land" said Stella

"And what did you say?" asked Captious

"Well I said that, the council will compensate everyone who agrees with no fight" said Stella

"And will we do that?" asked Captious

"Of course we will, I will make sure to provide all the families with free housing for as long as the battle will go on" said Stella

"I see" said Captious

"Yes, enough about that, how is Annie faring?" asked Stella

"Well she is good, she is progressing very rapidly, which is better for us and for her" said Captious

"Good" said Stella

"And what about our allies?" asked Captious

"Well you know how the werewolves are... they would rather stay out of it and mind their own affairs, but King Henry as assured me that his soldiers are our soldiers" said Stella

"So we are ready" said Captious

"Not quite, we still have some things to sort out" said Stella

"Well I will leave you to it" said Captious as he stood up.

"Thank you" said Stella

"But wait, where is Sapiens? I have not seen him all day" said Stella

"Ahhh well that beloved professor of ours, is still busy playing hubby with Elora" said Captious

"Ahh haha okay then" said Stella as she laughed, wow Sapiens had really changed over the past few months.
