Please

"Ouch" said Maddie as she cried out in pain, she felt a huge prick in her heart, as if she was dying.

"Maddie are you alright??" asked Annie as she was worried, why did Maddie sound like she was in pain?

"Maddie are you okay?" asked Matt as he and Annie stopped arguing with Curtis and they both turned to look at her, ever Curtis turned to see what was going on.

"I'm fine, it's nothing really" said Maddie as she felt better immediately it was just a short prick of pain, but it was extremely painful, she was seriously worried of what just happened, it came surprisingly.

"What happened??" asked Annie

"I don't know what it was, but I'm fine now" said Maddie

"Are you sure?" asked Matt

"Of course I am" said Maddie

"Okay if you say so" said Matt.

"Anyway Curtis, you know something, why are you not telling us??" asked Annie

"It is not in my place to tell" said Curtis

He knew that Stella was probably the one who decided to do this, and he had no place to reverse what she thought was best for their safety.

"Look Curtis you are being very suspicious" said Annie as she was annoyed.

"I do not know what you are talking about" said Curtis as he feigned ignorance, while Maddie and Matt knocked on the barrier, it was preventing them from going out but it definitely wasn't soundproof, they could hear some noises from the outside.

If you thought of it, it was actually stupid that it wasn't soundproof, what was the point?, or maybe it was soundproof but what happened earlier shattered the noise barrier?? who knew?

"Okay look Curtis, you don't need to say anything" said Annie as she was sure that this was very important for Curtis to keep quiet like this.

"You can just break the barrier for us, and we won't tell anyone that you were the one who let us out" said Annie

Curtis looked at Annie, and he tilted his head towards her as if saying "Are you serious?" and Annie replied with a "pleaseeee"

"Okay then suite yourself" said Curtis as he sighed, and he touched the glass and it immediately shattered with no hesitation.

"Thank you Curtis, you are the best" said Annie as she hugged him and quickly let go.

"Come on guys, let's go find out what's going on" said Annie as she turned to look at Maddie and Matt who were totally surprised on how fast Curtis broke the barrier.

"Okay" said Maddie

"Alright, let's go" said Matt

Curtis was looking at fading images of Annie, Maddie and Matt, he sighed, he wondered if he was being too soft on Annie.

She would think that he was weak and soft if he kept on spoiling her and allowing her to do whatever she wanted.

Meanwhile in Azazel's camp.

Azazel was sitting calmly in his office, completely disregarding the total turmoil that was being experienced by the people in his camp, they would take care of themselves, or so he thought.

The blank cold stare on his face was quickly replaced with a brief surge of pain, and he clutched his chest.

Something was wrong and he knew it, he quickly stood up and wore his black jacket, he had to find out what had happened this time.

Meanwhile inside the camp.

Clove was holding on to the little bit of consciousness that she had left, she was loosing a lot of blood, and she knew that she did not have enough time left.

She closed her eyes, getting ready for the fate that she had seen beforehand, she was ready to give up, until she remembered Nia, the girl would not forgive herself if she left without saying goodbye, she had already lost so much, and Clove did not want to be added on that list.

Clove forced her eyes open, she used the last strength in her, and she muttered a spell, that would send her message to Nia wherever she was.

Meanwhile back at the camp.

Annie caught sight of Mira, and she immediately called out for her, if someone was to know what was going on it would be Mira.

"Hi Mira" said Annie.

"Oh Hey Annie, Hey Maddie and Matt" said Mira as she turned around and smiled.

"Hello" said Maddie and Matt.

"Mira do you know what's going on?" asked Annie

"I mean with those earthquakes or whatever they are??" asked Annie

"Oh those, well they are not earthquakes" said Mira.

"We are attacking Azazel's camp, but the barrier was too strong, and hence why there were shocks going out through the whole plains" explained Mira.

"Ahh I see" said Annie

"Yes anyway, you three better get somewhere safe, we are going to shoot again" said Mira as she walked away.

"Let's get out of here first" said Matt

"Yes Annie, I agree with Matt, let's go to our room" said Maddie

"Okay then, let's go" said Annie

Meanwhile back in Azazel's camp.

Nia had found somewhere to hide, and luckily the barrier was been repaired and been fortified, and the attacks had seemed to stop, other witches who were also hiding sighed when they heard the attacks had died down.

Nia stoop up, she touched her head, she felt as if she was hearing a voice, calling out to her.

"I must be hearing things" she said to herself as she shook her head.

"Nia" came Clove's voice as it became clearer.

"Milady??" asked Nia, as she was sure that she heard her voice, but she felt that something was wrong, as if Clove's voice was getting weaker.

Without wasting a second, Nia did not ask anymore questions, she rushed to find Clove, she hoped that Clove was alright.

...

"Milady"

"Milady" Clove thought that she was hearing things, her eyes were closed and she was getting weaker.

"Oh Milady, what happened to you??" asked Nia as she started to cry, she rushed to Clove's side, and she put Clove's head on her knees.

"Nia" called Clove softly.

"I'm here Milady, who did this to you??" asked Nia as she saw the wound and the blood.

"Nia, don't worry about that" said Clove as she coughed, her voice was beginning to crack.

"I am happy to see you one last time" she said as she smiled and she used her thumb to caress Nia's cheek

"Milady, please, please don't go" said Nia as tears dropped from her eyes, she needed to do something, Clove could not die like this.

"Maybe I can heal you" said Nia as she proceeded to cast a healing spell, it seemed to be working, Clove's wounds were starting to heal, and Nia had a hopeful look on her face, but all her hope was shattered in an instant, when the wounds stopped healing and they looked even worse.

"No, No no" said Nia as she was sad, angry and severely devastated, she was useless she could not even protect her lady, and now she could not save her either.

"Nia don't worry yourself, I don't want to fight it anymore" said Clove and that made Nia cry even more, the fact that Clove had given up, but she was not going to give up.

"No Milady, No I can save you" said Nia as she tried once again, but kept on failing, over and over again she tried and tried again, but every time the spell was reverted it crushed her more and more.

"Nia, be strong okay" said Clove as she smiled she could not even open her eyes anymore.

If it was any other attack, Clove would have died by now, but it was certain that whoever did this, had casted a prolonging spell on whatever weapon they used, so that the victim would suffer, and woefully feel the worst kind of pain, as they slowly slip into an eternal rest.

"Clove!" called Azazel, his voice didn't seem any different from his usual voice.

"Aza" whispered Clove.

"Clove" said Azazel as he moved closer.

"What happened?" asked Azazel as he completely disregarded Nia.

"I don't know I just found her like this" said Nia as she started crying even more, her eyes were red and her lips were quivering, her dress was covered in blood.

"No don't" said Nia as she held Azazel's hand as he was about to touch the wounded area, she did not even hesitate to stop him.

Azazel looked at Nia with anger, Nia was not even fazed, with tears in her eyes she said.

"I already tried, it only makes it worse" she said as she let go of his hand.

"You don't believe me, try it yourself, and just cause her more pain" said Nia as she cried and she tried to dry her tears but they just kept on coming.

Regardless of what Nia said, Azazel tried to cast a healing spell, and just as Nia had said it only got worse after it appeared to get better.

"Aza" called Clove, and Azazel kept his eyes on the wound.

"Aza look at me" she said as she knew he wasn't looking at her, Azazel hesitated, but Clove moved her bloody hands and moved Azazel's face to look at her.

"Aza I love you" she said as she opened her eyes for the last time, and she closed them forever.

Azazel did not have any expression on his face, he knew that she was gone, he just stood up and carried her in his arms, he totally ignored Nia who was sobbing greatly.

Today was a horrible day, and it was not because of the attack, but because of a great loss.
