Kidnapped

"Matt!!" called Annie as she could not believe what was going on right now, that Eagle was taking Mat away just like that.

"Someone do something, that eagle is taking Matt away!" said Annie as she looked at the others as they all looked as helpless as she did.

Annie did not know what to do at all, but in that same moment, she suddenly got an idea, as she held Alina's bow tightly in her hand and she took aim as she closed her right eye to aim at the bird as she pulled the arrow back.

Annie took a deep breath as she was about to let go of the arrow, but she could not do it at all.

"*Sigh*, I can't do it, it's just a bird" said Annie as she sighed in frustration and she put the arrow down, she could not do it, it was after all an innocent animal, but it was not so innocent as it was taking Matt away.

Annie and the others watched as they could no longer see Matt or the eagle at all as Alina sighed, this was trouble serious trouble.

"What just happened??" asked Maddie as Annie fell down to the ground on her knees, Matt was gone… he was taken by that bird, to who knows where?

"Matt was taken that's what" said Ollie as he replied and he looked at Maddie who looked very confused, they all were, this made no sense at all.

"I don't get why Matt didn't try to escape?" asked Maddie as she sighed.

"Because he did not want to hurt the bird, it is still an animal after all" said Curtis as he sighed and they all stopped talking as they heard crying and they turned to look at Annie who had started to cry.

"Oh Annie, don't cry, stop crying" said Maddie as she walked to Annie and she helped her up.

"How can I not cry when Matt was taken by that Eagle because of me? He was only trying to protect me, and he got taken instead" said Annie as she cried and Maddie hugged her.

"Don't say that Annie, of course Matt protected you, because it would be a different story now if you were the one that was taken" said Maddie as that did not make Annie feel better at all.

"Oh my…" said Alina as they all turned to look at her as she sighed.

"Alina, you know something don't you?" asked Ollie as he looked at Alina, he could sense that she knew what was going on here.

"Well no, not exactly, I don't know what is going on here, but I do know who that eagle belongs to" said Alina.

"Who?" asked Annie as she walked to Alina and she looked at her with desperation.

"That Eagle is one of trained pets of the only person who lives far away from the rest of us" said Alina.

"Who? Where do they live? Where?" asked Annie.

"Well, I don't know the girl personally, but she lives over there, in the upper mountains" said Alina as she pointed to the right as they could see the shapes of many little mountains not too far from the waterfall.

"Is there a chance that the Eagle might have taken Matt there?" asked Curtis as Alina looked at him.

"Yes, there is a chance, a great one, because all her pets are usually well trained, and they don't take what does not belong to them, which was why I was surprised to see her Eagle out of its territory and flying to low, it was as if it was looking for something, or rather someone" said Alina.

"What are you trying to say Alina?" asked Ollie as Maddie also did not understand.

"What I am trying to say is that… did you all notice that the Eagle did not seem to have eyes for any of us?" asked Alina.

"How do you mean?" asked Alina.

"Well it only went for one person, and that was Matt, I don't think that it was going for Annie, the only reason he went for her, was because Matt was guarding Annie, and as soon as he came down low enough, he grabbed no one else but Matt" said Alina.

"So you are trying to say that this is a kidnapping?" asked Maddie as Alina nodded her head.

"I believe so" said Alina.

"Well then, we are going over there, and we are going to get Matt back, because this is not fair, how can you just kidnap someone like that?" asked Annie as she sniffed, she was so angry right now, they had to go and get Matt.

"Wait, take it easy Annie, relax a bit, we can't do anything rash, first, let's go and ask my Master, he will know what to do, he knows the girl very well" said Alina.

"Okay, let's go then" said Annie as she nodded her head and she walked ahead, they had to find Matt, they had to.

Matt could see as Annie, Maddie, Ollie, Curtis and Alina all started to get smaller and smaller, he was getting further and further away from them as the Eagle was soaring higher with him, he did not understand why the Eagle would take him, it made no sense at all.

He was of course more than able to get himself free from here, but he did not want to harm the bird at all, Matt decided that it would be best for him to allow the bird take him to wherever he wanted to take him to, and then from there, he would escape and go back to Annie and the others.

Matt could see the waterfall, as the surroundings below him changed and they got more rockier and not as plain and smooth as the colony was, Matt was sure that the eagle had its nest very high up, and that was where it was probably taking him to.

The Eagle cawed as it got closer to what looked like a cave, as it made its descent gently, as if aware of the half witch, half vampire that it was carrying as he set him down gently on the ground first as it landed.

Matt looked around, the Eagle did not seem hostile at all, in fact, it looked very trained, it did not even look like it wanted to eat him, he just stood there, as if waiting for orders.

"Oh good boy, very good boy Elvis, you desire a treat for brining my guest here" came the voice of a girl from the cave as Matt turned to look at the cave as a girl in a cloak walked out and she walked to pat the Eagle as the Eagle cawed.

"Who are you?" asked Matt as he did not understand what was going on here.

"Oh where are my manners?" asked the girl.

"Welcome home my love" said the girl as Matt knew that she was bonkers.

"Who is your love?" asked Matt in nothing but confusion and disbelief for what he was hearing right now.

"Oh you are" said the girl once again with a smile.

"Oh, I am out of here" said Matt as he turned around to find a way down from here.

"Uh, uh, not so fast my love, you can't just leave, you just got here" said the girl as she walked closer to Matt.

"Excuse me, but I am not your love, not at all" said Matt as the girl remained smiling at him.

"Oh love, come on, don't play so hard to get" said the girl.

"Anyway, this should make you relaxed to get settled in your new home" said the girl as Matt did not know what the heck she was talking about as in the same moment, Matt was sprayed with something that made him start to cough as he became dizzy and the last image he saw before he drifted into unconsciousness was the smiling face of the crazy girl who kidnapped him.

"Master, master, are you home?" asked Alina as she rushed into the house after she and the other put the buckets full of water away.

"Alina, what is the matter?" asked Ivor as he had just arrived back home himself, only to see that the house was empty and that everyone had gone out, and now Alina returned, calling for him with so much urgency.

"Master, something bad happened" said Alina.

"What happened?" asked Ivor in concern.

"Is Annie alright? Is Curtis alright?" asked Ivor.

"Oh Ivor, you have to help us, please help us" said Annie as she walked into the room.

"What happened Annie?" asked Ivor as he looked at Annie.

"It's Matt, he was kidnapped, we all went to the waterfall to fetch water, and then we started to hear this cawing sound, only for us to see an eagle hovering around us, and then it started to move down, and Matt pushed me out of the way, and then the Eagle took Matt, Ivor he took Matt" said Annie as she explained as fast as she could in a single breath.

"Annie, breathe, breathe" said Maddie as Annie nodded her head and she began to breathe in and out.

"Matt was taken, Alina told us that you might know something about it" said Curtis as he was much more calmer than Annie and Ivor looked at him.

"You say he was taken by an Eagle?" asked Ivor.

"Yes, he was" said Maddie as she nodded her head and Ivor sighed.

"To the upper mountains?" asked Ivor as Alina shook her head.

"There is only one person who lives up there" said Ivor.

"Who is she?" asked Annie as she stopped taking deep breaths.

"Queen Lilith" replied Ivor as they all looked at him in confusion.
