Good News

"What are you doing here?" asked Stella

"You better be here with good news" said Stella as she ignored the silence of the person she was addressing.

"The question is, do I usually bring you bad news?" asked Curtis as he sat down across Stella's desk.

"Well it depends on the situation, but generally no" replied Stella

"Hmm good to know what you think about me" said Curtis

"Mhmm, so what brings you here Curtis?" asked Stella with a raised eyebrow.

"Well as you said earlier I have good news" said Curtis

"Hmm is that so? then let's hear it" said Stella

"Well the last batches of the antidote has been administered, and as we speak right now, everyone has fully recovered, and there are no remains of witches brew" said Curtis.

"Curtis that is not good news" said Stella

"That is great news" she said with a smile that spelt relief.

Stella was extremely relieved, everyone had totally recovered, no one died (Luckily) and things were more or less back to normal, now she had one thing less to worry about.

"Now I can finally rest easy, the only thing left to make me sleep peacefully, is Azazel's demise" said Stella as she closed her eyes.

"Yes about that, I also want to suggest to you that we increase the security, we cannot be caught unaware like we were the last time" said Curtis

"That is true, I have been thinking about that too" said Stella

"But for now we just have to manage, there are still many things that are yet to be put in place" said Stella

"I see" said Curtis

"Anyway, you are not going to talk about Armand" said Curtis

"Oh here we go again Curtis" said Stella as she knew that Curtis was going to bring this matter up.

"Don't start" she said

"Oh I see, because I remember telling you that there was something off about him" said Curtis

"Yes, yes, you were right about him, so leave me be" said Stella

"Of course I was right, little girl you seem to forget that I have a lot of experience with deciphering people's true intentions." said Curtis

"Curtis don't you dare call me a little girl, in that teenage human form of yours" said Stella

"I can do whatever I want, I am way older than you anyway" said Curtis

"Yes okay agreed, but not with that bay face of yours, it's too funny when you talk like that" said Stella as she laughed.

"Whatever you say" said Curtis as he turned to look around, but there was a little smile on his face.

Meanwhile in Azazel's camp.

Selene was pacing back and forth in front of Azazel's tent, she looked nervous.

"Go in cat eyes he's all yours" said Liam as he winked at Selene as he came out of Azazel's office.

Selene only frowned at the Vampire, at this point she had gotten used to the stupid nonsense that he uttered from that dirty thing that he called a mouth hole, so she decided to save her breath, if she got money for every time she cursed him, she would have been a millionaire by now.

Besides she has many more important matters to discuss with Azazel, matter that concerned their overall goal.

Speaking of vampires, what in the world did Azazel need to discuss with that potty mouth of a vampire? thought Selene to herself.

"Cat eyes are you okay?? because you have not said a single word to me since I saw you today, this is a huge surprise to me" said Liam as he snapped Selene out of her wandering thoughts.

Selene glared at Liam as if wanting to kill him, which was not a surprise to him, he was used to her glares by now.

"I didn't know that you liked to gossip, and here I was trying to mind my own business like you told me too" replied Selene coldly.

"Ouch Cat eyes, are you talking about the other day??" asked Liam as he chuckled.

"Don't take it personal Cat eyes, what I said that day was a general warning, some things needed to be put in place, other than that, what I said that day does not affect our relationship at all" said Liam as he winked at the relationship part.

Selene rolled her eyes "Save me the lies, which relationship?" she said angrily.

"Stop fooling yourself cat eyes, you know" said Liam smugly.

"Ha, In your..." said Selene

"Dreams" said Liam as he completed Selene's sentence, which irked her even more.

"Ugh, I utterly despise you" said Selene

"I know, I know cat eyes, well you better get going, I am sure that you do not want to keep the boos waiting any longer" said Liam as he curbed Selene's temper before she blew like a bomb.

"Drats, you wretched Vampire" said Selene, talking to Liam all this while had made her forget that she had a meeting with Azazel.

"You, I'm late, this is all your fault" said Selene as she pointed her finger aggressively at Liam.

"Whatever you say" said Liam

"Anyway, see you around cat eyes... oh and goodluck" said Liam as he winked once again before leaving.

Selene braced up herself, she was going to face fire and she knew it, she looked at the ground, and she put on her most sincerest fake smile, and she stepped into Azazel's office.

"My Lord, the great Azazel, everyone trembles at the mere mention of your name" said Selene as she decided to praise him to try to ease his anger, but Azazel had no reaction.

"My only master and boss, Azazel, I am sorry that I am late" said Selene as she bowed to the ground.

"I was held back by a nuisance and I lost track of time" said Selene.

"Save it Selene" said Azazel as he was not in the mood for her lies.

"What is it that was so important that you just had to tell me?" asked Azazel coldly.

"My Lord, I have news from one of my news sources" said Selene

"And?" asked Azazel as he wanted her to get straight to the point.

"Start talking Selene, I am very busy" said Azazel

Selene wanted to ask what he was busy with? because as far as she knew, he really did nothing other than to sit here all day looking so serious.

"What exactly were you busy with My Lord?" asked Selene as she foolishly let her curiosity get the best of her.

"Thinking of how to get rid of all my enemies" said Azazel as he surprisingly replied her, without adding his usual insults.

"Do you want to be added to the list?" asked Azazel with a raised eyebrow.

"Ahh No no My lord" said Selene as she laughed sheepishly.

"So what is it?" asked Azazel

"Apparently, the half-vampire boy is a antidote for Witches brew" said Selene.

"I knew that boy would be a problem, we should have just killed him" said Selene and Azazel shot her a cold stare.

"You will do no such thing Selene, you will leave the boy alive, he is very valuable to me" said Azazel.

"Yes My lord" said Selene

"But this could also been avoided if you had not so generously told me to reduce the dosage of witches brew in the potion bombs" said Selene.

"Selene what are you tying to say?" asked Azazel questionably.

"Nothing My lord" said Selene quickly

"I am just telling you what is going on" said Selene.

"So what do we do now?" asked Selene.

Azazel didn't reply he just looked at Selene and said "Handle it"

"What did you say my lord?" asked Selene as she was sure that she did not believe what she just heard.

"I said handle it" said Azazel

"Except you cannot handle it" said Azazel

"No My Lord, I can" said Selene quickly she could not believe that Azazel trusted her to let her handle this very important matter.

Azazel was giving Selene exactly what she wanted, which was power, and he was sure that she would not disobey him.

"If that is all then you may go now" said Azazel

"Yes My Lord, I will take my leave now" said Selene as she bowed.

"Hmm" said Azazel as she left.

After a few minutes someone else stepped into Azazel's office.

It was Nia, she was here to give her weekly report on Clove's wellbeing.

"Master Azazel, I am here to give my weekly report" said Nia as she bowed.

"Go on then" said Azazel

"Well Master Azazel, she is doing way more better than before, she has started eating again, and her countenance has changed" said Nia

"Thank you" said Nia as she bowed her head.

"Hmm, is that all?" asked Azazel??

"What do you mean Master?" asked Nia

"Is there nothing else that you want to tell me?" asked Azazel

Nia looked nervous and she tried her best to avoid Azazel's gaze, dis he know something?? but she could not tell him, she gave her word to Clove that what she knew stayed between them.

"No Master Azazel, there is nothing more, that is all I have for you" said Nia confidently as she looked at Azazel.

Nia concluded that she should keep her promise, sure it was Azazel that hired her, but she was Clove's servant, and she would be loyal to her and her alone.

"I see" said Azazel suspiciously like he expected more.

"Yes Master" said Nia

"Well then you may go" said Azazel

"Yes Master" said Nia as she bowed and left.
