The icicle melted instantly then became a gaseous cloud of water vapor. I made it move forward towards Kate. She froze it solid again using ice control then reshaped it.

It split into many icicle that began to spin like drills. This would be bad if they hit me I have to get a little serious. Casting fly and ice protection spells I tried to fly up. The ground grasped at my feet i couldn't get off the ground!

Well played the drill like spears of ice flew at me at break neck speeds. I cast equipment change and dropped my robe. I was now wearing armor black as the abyss. It radiated magic you could actually see it floating just above the armor. Each piece was intricately inscribed with many runes and words of power.

The icicles hit the magic aura and a blinding flash of light occurred. When the icicles made contact with another magic energy as condensed as the armors. It caused a explosion of pure energy disrupting the ice magic briefly.

I activated a ring which held the spell warp. Instantly I appeared behind Kate staff to the back of her head. "You loose now lower your staff." When the match was over she looked tired and out of breath but happy.

Never thought she could do so much already with only a day of practice. On her own it's incredible how far she got. Now it's time to learn real power young one I thought to myself.

I gave her a little bit to catch her breath. Alright I'll attack you this time try to defend against my assult. I walked about Ten feet away from her. Then readied my self, once I was ready I nodded to Kate and said GO!!!

I started to run away from Kate to get some range. She started to cast something that felt different from her prior attacks. At the same time I had cast three spells at the same time. using resonances which allows me to become multi versions of myself in one body. Multiple voices saying incantations at the same time can be a serious threat towards any mage.

Triple casting is a force to be reckoned with. I had summoned a cloud of darkness to block Kates view. While also casting a enhancement spell to increase my speed. The last spell was a mid level light spell.

It refracted the scenery behind me to in front of me. Basically invisibility, but way less energy extensive. It took me only a few seconds to dash around to behind Kate. she finished casting her spell and it sent eight different ice spike. Down into the cloud of darkness.

Live burial was the next spell I cast the earth beneath Kate became liquid. Pulling her down into the earth with a plop sound. All the way up to her neck she sank now the ground was solid and she was trapped. Unable to move even a inch, she wasnt good enough to cast with just incantations so she lost there.

I walked over to Kate and reversed the spell bringing her out of the ground. You have much yet to learn but we can call it there. spells are not particularly difficult it's just to know how to combo them togeather for the best outcome.

But with a little practice you'll be able to fight for extended periods of time. Your body will also become stronger which will allow you to hold more energy at a time.
