Chapter 15. Love

We drove to the restaurant in silence but as we moved, Roman sneaked looks at me as he drove. It was quite cute.

When we finally got there and walked it, I remembered it from back when I was much younger. My mother loved it here. The stinging thought of not having her with me anymore hit me.

"Are you alright?" Roman asked noticing how tense I got.

I gave him a nod and smiled.

"Reservation for three." Roman then told the attendant at the entrance.

"Name please." She asked politely.

"Roman Da'Shawn." He said when the lady finally looked up at him and bit her lip like I was not in sight. I growled quietly and Roman sqeezed my hand probably understanding my jealousy.

The lady then led us to our seats and watched us sit then just stood there without offering a word. I looked up at her trying to show her that she was out of place.

"Excuse me." She said finally after meeting my gaze.

Roman chuckled helplessly.

I rolled my eyes at him.
