Chapter 44:The Animal Whisperer

The African sun blazed overhead as Subham, Saheli, and Ankan made their way through the dense wilderness. Their guide, Mosi, had given them some space to explore, trusting in their training and instincts. The trio had been walking for hours, marveling at the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife.

"We should split up to cover more ground," Subham suggested as they reached a fork in the path. "I'll go this way. You two stick together and head that way."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Saheli asked, a hint of worry in her voice.

"Yeah, we don't want to get lost out here," Ankan added.

Subham smiled reassuringly. "I'll be fine. If anything happens, I'll signal."

Reluctantly, Saheli and Ankan agreed, and they parted ways. As Subham ventured deeper into the wilderness, he found himself in awe of the natural beauty around him. The vibrant colors, the sounds of the animals, and the sense of untouched nature filled him with a strange sense of peace.

After a while, Subham noticed something unusual. The animals he encountered seemed unnaturally calm around him. A majestic elephant, a herd of gazelles, and even a pride of lions watched him with curiosity but showed no signs of aggression. Intrigued, Subham extended his hand towards a nearby zebra, which cautiously approached and nuzzled his palm.

"Well, this is new," Subham muttered to himself.

As he continued walking, more animals began to gather around him. They followed him as if he were their leader. Subham, still bewildered by this strange phenomenon, decided to test it further. He raised his hand and commanded the animals to stop. Instantly, they obeyed.

"Alright, this is getting weird," he thought, but a smile played on his lips.

After exploring for a while longer, Subham decided to reunite with his friends. He turned back, the horde of animals trailing behind him like an entourage. When he finally saw Saheli and Ankan in the distance, he couldn't wait to see their reactions.

"Hey, guys!" Subham called out.

Saheli and Ankan turned around, their jaws dropping as they saw Subham approaching with a menagerie of wildlife following him.

"What the...?" Ankan stammered.

"Subham, what did you do?" Saheli asked, wide-eyed.

Subham chuckled. "I don't know. They just... started following me. But don't worry, they won't harm us."

Saheli and Ankan watched in amazement as the animals approached them, sniffing curiously but showing no signs of aggression. Soon, the three friends found themselves playing with the animals, laughing and enjoying the surreal experience.

Saheli, caught up in the moment, accidentally stepped on a tiger's tail. The tiger growled and turned to pounce, but Subham intervened immediately. He locked eyes with the tiger and gave it a death stare, his Chelisthenics God Core pulsing with energy. The tiger, sensing the immense power and authority in Subham's gaze, cowered and backed down.

"Whoa, that was close," Ankan said, exhaling deeply.

Saheli, her heart pounding, looked at Subham with admiration and a hint of fear. "How did you do that?"

Subham shrugged, trying to downplay the moment. "I guess it's the core. It lets me connect with the natural energy around me. Seems like it works on animals too."

Ankan grinned. "Dude, you're like the real-life Tarzan!"

Saheli laughed, the tension easing. "Yeah, except without the loincloth."

The trio continued their journey, the animals now a part of their strange, growing family. Subham, though still puzzled by his newfound ability, felt a deeper connection to the world around him. And as they walked, the three friends knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together – with a little help from their new animal friends.
