⌜Chapter 38⌟

91st floor boss battle, against the named boss monster Dorz'l the Chaos Drake. Its body is as big as a building with 30 floors, its black colored scales is oozing with black miasma, its pure red eyes showing madness.

*Roar!

Its roar reverberated in the whole 91st first floor, making everyone there hear it.

Tanaka stepped in front with a big smile on his face.

"I'll get the dragon slayer title after this. Isn't that great?"

Tanaka was very excited at the moment. The title meant not a lot, but it was one unique title in the game, it will allow him to tame dragon type monsters, which meant Tanaka will finally have a flying mount, which made him very excited.

Anyway, this its his um.. 69th try of fighting the boss monster, and just to defeat this boss monster, he made a lot of preparations; he didn't use his scythe today because it will be difficult to use it against this kind of opponent.

So fighting off this kind of monster, Tanaka brought a lot of spears, about a thousand of them, and also some swords, and he also took one of the rare items in the game which is a bow, he definitely didn't steal it from another player.

He also crafted a lot of arrows using rare materials and he crafted it on his own, which made it more powerful than normal because he received a Grandmaster Blacksmith a few years ago? For him, at least.

Tanaka is also happy that Kayaba didn't get himself exposed this time, at least he didnt do anything stupid and listened to him.

So first thing first before fighting the boss monster, Tanaka took out a spear from his inventory and then threw it towards the dragon at a fast speed.

*Swoosh! *Boom!

Because of his high level and attributes, strength and Agility being the main attributes of his, his strength differed from a long time ago. The moment he threw the spear, and it created an enormous shock wave, it immediately broke the sound barrier.

*Roar!

Dorz'l roared as the spear stabbed its body, the spear pierced through its wings creating a small hole, and Tanaka was not done yet, he threw more spears towards Dorz'l and all of it pierced its wings.

Now there is nothing left to its wings. Dorz'l started falling towards the ground and due to its massive body, it created whistling sounds as it fell to the ground, Tanaka didn't waste the chance and immediately went to the place where Dorz'l would fall and prepared the spears by stabbing the but on the ground and its head facing the skies.

He put about 10 spears on the ground and when Dorz'l is near, Tanaka immediately ran away and took out a lot more spears, then started throwing as Dorz'l fell to the ground.

*Boom!

There was a loud explosion as Dorz'l crashed to the ground. It also created a gigantic pit from its fall but one thing is that the spears that were on the ground pierced its body.

*Roar!

Dorz'l roared loudly, then out of rage it started spewing dark flames from its mouth, Tanaka immediately took out a huge shield from his inventory and blocked the incoming black flames.

Tanaka raised the shield as he received the torrent of flames that were showering towards him. His health bar also decreased at a fast pace, but Tanaka remained calm and didn't worry, he had done this too many times to panic.

The flame breath lasted for about a few seconds before Dorz'l stopped breathing flames. Tanaka immediately used this chance to throw the shield that almost melted towards the dragon before running away then drinking health potions as he does so.

After his health bar recovered, Tanaka started throwing spears again, and it did little damage but it kept shaving of some percentage from the Health of Dorz'l , it didn't take long for the dragon to roar and started smacking the spears with its arms.

Tanaka then took out a sword and a spear in his other hand before throwing the spear again, Dorz'l smacked the spear away but as he does so, Tanaka appeared from below it and stabbed the sword towards its chest.

After Tanaka stabbed the sword, he immediately jumped away before pulling out spears from his inventory and then throwing it towards Dorz'l, who wanted to attack him with its claws but it prioritized blocking the spears and did not attack Tanaka.

Tanaka kept barraging Dorz'l with spears then when he have the chance, he will dash towards it and stab a sword towards a part of its body, it didn't take long for the dragon to look like a porcupine because of the spears and swords stabbed to its body.

*Roar!

Dorz'l roared loudly and summoned lightning everywhere. It struck the ground, creating a deep pit. It was now raining lightning, Dorz'l health bar also started recovering at a fast pace, it won't take long for it to get back to its full health. Tanaka stopped throwing spears and stopped at his tracks.

"finally"

Tanaka took a deep breath and pulled out the scythe from his inventory. Unlike in the past, where it was silver colored, this time, the scythe is pure white, as if it was glowing.

Tanaka then charged towards Dorz'l at a great speed while avoiding the lightning strikes everywhere. His movements were quick and avoided the lightning strikes that even if other people see they won't be able to react.

As he got close to Dorz'l the more lightning came striking towards him. It forced Tanaka to block the lightning with his scythe, but his speed is still the same, he broke past the lightning zone and immediately reached Dorz'l .

"This is the end"

The scythe glowed in dark color as if it was sucking all the light around.

*Swooosh!

Tanaka swung the scythe and in the next moment, everything turned into a void, there was no light, but then a small shard of light appeared, then another and another, it didn't take long for the shard of light to scatter and everything regained back its color.

There Tanaka is standing while the body of the enormous dragon is gone.

"Subjugation complete"
