⌜Chapter 37⌟

Seeing the Gleam Eyes charged towards them, Asuna and Kirito panicked. They have seen the strength of the boss monster. It was powerful, it was very fast and immediately reached them in a single moment.

Kirito and Asuna weren't able to prepare in time but just as they thought they will be attacked by the boss monster, they suddenly saw a scythe enveloping the waist of Gleam Eyes.

"You think you can escape?"

Tanaka smirked, then immediately pulled the scythe pulling Gleam Eyes along with it, Tanaka then spun it around, stunning the gleam eyes. Then followed by a powerful slash towards its chest.

*Boom! *Roar!

What followed was a massacre of attacks from Tanaka, he just discovered a new thing about his scythe today. He had never thought it was possible to stun the monsters with his scythe, this made him extremely happy.

Now a lot of new moves appeared on his mind and he immediately tried it on the Gleam Eyes. What happened next was the Gleam Eyes being infinitely stunned by his attacks, though the damage is not a lot since there is a stun effect.

It was much better to fight a vulnerable enemy than fighting something that could fight back.

"Maybe I can do some Tekken combo?"

Tanaka smiled when he suddenly thought about this, so with a quick move, he sent Gleam Eyes flying towards the skies even with its massive body, Tanaka then jumped into the sky and slashed his scythe a few times then he slammed the monster on the ground.

*Boom!

The monster bounced on the ground and just-in-time Tanaka landed on the grounded, he then followed up with a flurry of attacks that kept Gleam Eyes on the air for a long time.

'This is actually difficult than I thought'

Tanaka found it was actually quite difficult. He almost broke his combo a few times due to hitting the wrong part, but he could regain it by kicking the monster up.

'I guess I need to practice this more'

Tanaka smiled and continued his barrage of attacks. His combo lasted for about 20 minutes before his combo was broken.

"Well, it only has half health left, time to end it"

Gleam Eyes died turning into small shards of light and leaving its item drops on the ground. Tanaka took a deep breath and picked up the items. He then turned his head towards the couple but said nothing before climbing to the next floor.

But he said something on his mind.

'Die you normy couples, now that I think about it, valentines is coming close, not like there is something I could get from that, why is it even something needed to be celebrated?'

Tanaka complained in his mind as he climbed towards the next floor, reaching the 75th floor Tanaka could not help but look around, his cheat could only bring him to 74th floor so this is a new for him, also he decided to rest here for now, he had been clearing the floor without stopping for the past few weeks(for him).

He looked around the 75th floor for a while before going into one inn and changing his appearance to Guild Master Ice. Today is his beloved rest day.

"Hmm, let's see what's on my rest day schedule, first is taking a nap, then after that strolling around, then after that learn music from Yuna then after that a feast for the whole Guild, then after that nap again, after that..."

Tanaka started writing his schedule for his rest day, he is much more serious on his rest day than taking the matters of the guild.

After he was done, he started his schedule for today, so he started napping.

While he was sleeping, the whole Players of Sao were making their way towards the 75th floor, they already had gotten used from the unbelievable speed that 'Madara' is clearing the floors, the front liners are nothing but a back up plan right now.

Though they are thrilled since they didn't need to risk their lives to clear the floors anymore, ever since the reappearance of Madara their lives have become burden free.

They don't have to think or stress about clearing the floors or think that they will be stuck inside the game, they were very thankful for 'Madara' doing this for them, even though they were still stuck in the game, they had treated the same as real life for now.

And there was also the appearance of Guild Master Ice that gave them a sense of security ever since he killed off the red players who had been attacking the low level players, and if there are also new red players, the Iceforge guild will immediately take care of them.

The existence of Iceforge guild is now the strongest guild and also something that everyone could trust. There was also Guild Master Ice known as the Knight of Justice, no one knew who named him that but they thought it was fitting for him but no one dared to say it in front of Guild Master Ice.

-A few days later-

The boss of the 75th floor turned into light shards as it has finally been defeated. Tanaka picked up the items and made his way toward the next floor, but just as he climbed up the stairs, there was a man waiting there.

"Kayaba, no, should I say Heathcliff?"

Kayaba said nothing and only looked at Tanaka. Then he sighed.

"You don't have to say anything, I will clear the real boss of the 100th floor while the others can fuck you up for all I care"

Tanaka could immediately tell what Kayaba was thinking.

"I see, then as my thanks, take this"

Kayaba moved his hand and an golden egg like appeared floating on top of his hand.

"I hope you take care of it"

"Then I will do"

Tanaka nodded and as it landed on his hand it disappeared and entered inside his chest. After it was done, Kayaba nodded and left.

"Hey, do nothing stupid that will expose you. I don't want my run to be ruined by your mistake"

"i will"

After that Kayaba disappeared, Tanaka just continued his run.
