The following days in the company were perfectly normal and peaceful for Hannah. So far, she had no problem with anything and luckily, those assassins had not come looking for her.

As usual, Hannah was sitting behind her desk, working when Dave showed up. This was the first time she was seeing him after so long. He smiled at her in greeting and Hannah responded with a curt nod. She found it strange that Dave was the only employee who came to the CEO's floor. Maybe it was because the others had nothing to do here. Dave also had nothing to do here except to help her with work sometimes and give her a headache most of the time.

Seeing Dave was not one of the things she looked forward to in the company. After asking some unnecessary questions, Dave finally said, "I was thinking if you could join us for lunch". He had his eyes narrowed as he looked at Hannah, waiting for her response.

Hannah wanted to refuse but she was also hungry so she agreed. Packing her things and keeping them in place, Hannah stood up and walked with Dave to the cafeteria. When Dave said 'us' Hannah didn't expect to see so many people at the table where Dave directed her to. All of them were staring at her with curious eyes that made Hannah somewhere uncomfortable. She cleared her throat, hoping to distract them but they kept stating like there was something on her face.

One of them said, "You must be Hannah right?" Hannah nodded at the lady who she had never seen before. She has never really seen the employee of this company and the only one she knew was Dave. "We are from the secretarial department. Good to finally meet you".

"Same". Hannah said and took her seat in the space that was provided by one of them. She did not know that Dave was in the secretarial department. They talked for a while and all the employees introduced themselves to her. She learned that the lady who had spoken first was Katherine and she was quite the chatterbox as she kept on talking about anything and everything. They stood up to get their food and when they got back, their chattering continued.

Katherine spoke, "I heard you will be replacing Camden. Is that true?" Her question made everyone look at Hannah, their eyes asking the same question. Hannah stopped eating and looked at everyone who had their eyes on her. She knew nothing about replacing Camden and she had only been in the company as Axel's secretary.

Hannah sighed internally. She had only come here to eat but it seems she was going to be talking for a while. She should have just stayed back behind her desk, at least it was quiet there, Hannah thought.

Hannah shrugged, "I don't know". She went back to her food, ignoring the eyes that were threatening to drill holes in her body. Her answer and nonchalant attitude may have thrown all of them off but not Katherine as she kept on asking questions,

"Which company are you from? You must be very good at what you do else Mr. Miller would not have hired you," asked Katherine. "No ordinary person gets to be Mr. Miller's secretary, so I guess you must be from a really good company".

Hannah, not knowing what to say, kept quiet. She did not become Axel's secretary because she came from a good company but because she was an assassin but she couldn't tell them that, so she only nodded, "yes", and went back to her food.

Katherine spoke again, "what is the name of the company?"

Hannah sent a barely noticeable glare at the lady. If only Katherine could allow her to eat peacefully and not stop after every bite. "Half moon industries," said Hannah as that was the only company she knew other than Starlight Industries.

"Half Moon industries?" This time, another girl from the table spoke, "I thought mr. Miller didn't hire anyone who works for a company below his." The girl's voice sounded shocked.

"Don't worry, it's only a matter of time before she gets fired like the others," another lady, whose name was Lilian remarked.

Hannah paused and looked up from her food, willingly this time, to see the person who wished her fired. She was ready to say mean things to the person but when she opened her mouth, she was interrupted by Dave.

"Come on Lily, just because you were rejected doesn't mean everyone would end up like you. At least she lasted longer than you did". Dave's words were mean but the others laughed except for Lilian who had an ugly expression on her face.

Katherine turned to Hannah and said, "Lilian used to be in the secretarial department but one time, when Camden went on a business trip, she was asked to fill in for him. Unfortunately, mr. Miller was not happy with her work so she was demoted to the front desk." Katherine sounded like she was trying hard to stop herself from laughing but she couldn't. She burst out laughing and so did the others on the table.

Lillian's expression turned uglier and she stood up and walked away but not after hitting her tray on the table that made a loud noise, enough to draw other people's attention to their table.

"I think she's angry" A guy commented and Katherine smiled,

"It's not the first time, she will get over it soon," she turned to Hannah and whispered, "she is always like that ".

Hannah nodded at Katherine and went back to continue eating. She thought that they were going to stop asking questions but who was she kidding? They kept talking and she began to think that they didn't have a lot of work to do. If they did, they would be done eating by now and would be back to their desks.
