Chapter 1

Meet Ronny, the most dangerous person around the town. He is part of a dangerous gang- The Flaming Dragons. He took control of the gang and became their leader. He has smuggled illegal drugs, weapons, and expensive diamonds. Everyone in school fears him, even the administrators. Still, he is a popular senior because everyone feared him and his gang members around the school. Everything is going great for him, but then, she enters his life- Lexi.

Lexi, the new girl. She is in his rival gang- The Venomous Serpents. She did not know much about him or his gang. He noticed her walking around the halls. She had on black short shorts with a dark red crop top hoodie and a pair of black boots, short pink hair, light ocean blue eyes; she stood 4'11" with a chubby yet slim body, and nice curves. As the mark of her gang, she had a snake tattoo travelling down her right leg. She had dark blood rose on her right arm, with thorns around it. Her body was 95% scars, and she was not ashamed. She walked past him and his gang members. The halls were empty and quiet, and Ronny called her.

“Hey! New girl!”

She noticed him and walked past to her locker, keeping her bike keys and helmet inside.

Ronny came up to her and said,” Hey! You better answer me when I'm talking to you”.

She looked at him, rolled her eyes and said, “What?”

"What's your name, new girl?"

"Lexi.” She looked at him and asked, “Why?"

“Well Lexi,” he said, “This school is my playground. You are new. You must not know the rules. Serpents like you are not allowed to roam the corridors. Especially not our dragons' ”, he said as he checked her out.

“Got it. Anything else?” She said.

“No. Not for now. Go to your class. Which subject do you have right now?”

“Maths. I was putting my stuff away.”

“Oh really, maths huh? This will be good. I got maths too. I think I'll be seeing you in class, little serpent.”

She rolled her eyes and put her stuff away. “Yeah. I guess.” she said, walking to class, thinking to herself, "What a day.”

“That new girl's hot. Why did she have to be a serpent?” he thought as he walked to his class.

She kept walking, looking over her shoulder, to see him. “Why do all the guys I like got to be in the enemy camps?” She said to herself as she looked away.

In Maths class, sir gave all the students an assignment.

A serpent threw a note at Ronny's friend, Klaus- “Meet me after school. We need to settle some stuff." He passed it to Ronny.

Meanwhile, Lexi was sitting in front of him, playing with her hair. Ronny was distracted, looking at Lexi. Klaus nudged Ronny and gave him the note. Ronny read the note and started smirking. “Better be prepared if you want to take on the dragons.” He wrote on the back of the paper, giving it to Klaus. He threw it to Tom, the serpent who sent the note in the first place.

After reading the reply, Tom sent a note to Lexi. She looked at the note and took a deep breath. “OH boy.” She said to herself. She looked over her shoulder to see him, and then she looked back smiling.

Ronny got nervous as she saw him. "What's happening to me? She is a serpent. It would never work." He thought as he smiled, watching her play with her hair.

Both thought to themselves, "If only I could leave."

As the bell rung, she walked out, took a deep breath and walked to her locker. Ronny caught up with her and said, “I noticed you looking at me.” However, she ignored him. He called her again. “Hey! I am talking to you. The least you could do is answer.” She looked back and stopped, “Hey. Sorry…”

“Anyway. Get Tom in line. He is messing with the wrong person. My friend Klaus here will kill him. There has been peace between the two gangs for some time now, and I don't want to ruin it.”

She looked at him, “Yeah, that's fine. I'll talk to him.”

However, all the time, Ronny kept thinking, "I'm the leader. If I became weak, either there would be a mutiny or I would be dead. Either way, the dragons would perish. I cannot do that. They are my family. I worked hard to get to this place. This peace is the result of my hard work. It's all to keep my promise to her.”

"You better," Ronny said as he left to talk to others.
