(1 hour later)

In these four hours, Alex had time to think about a few things, and he remembered that he wanted to ask the system why he did not care about pain. It's not that he doesn't feel pain, but if pain was in his way, then he didn't care about it.

So in his thoughts, he asked the system, "Why were there a few times when I just didn't feel pain?'

A red window appeared and in it could be read,

*Because the achievement system's goal is to make the host as powerful as possible, even in subtle ways that you might not even notice.*

He thought and realised that this made sense until a certain thought struck him. 'Then what are the achievements?'

To answer his question, the system window's text changed.

*Acheivment's is an unused energy (In your old world) that made a few become gods with this energy*

*Except these people accumulate that energy without gaining anything, while the system puts that energy to use in order to create abilities or make you stronger*

'Then won't that energy get drained?' to the question of Alex the windows text changed.

*No, because, this energy is a type of energy without limitation, but not at the same time. For example, this energy is as if someone had infinite stamina*

*Even with infinite stamina, they wouldn't have infinite strength*

'Why wasn't this energy discovered then?' The system answered by changing the text in the window again.

*Because the level of technology isn't high enough*

'Fair enough.' He thought as he fell asleep for the rest of the flight.

(A few hours later)

After the flight ended, he started investigating, but after a while, he had to stop because it was getting late. 'I should find a place to rest.' Thought Alex, while walking out of an alley.

'But at least I have a proof of which world I could be in if my theory is correct' Alex walked to the forest, and the reason is that he thought he would be much safer hidden by tree leaves than if he appeared without a record and without money at a hotel.

He could have stolen money, but that is not his style, plus he is not strong enough yet to draw attention to himself from the world.

Alex could know with his stat alone that he could already pretty much bend steel a little because he is 10 times stronger than average human beings. Even if it doesn't sound like much, that means his strength can reach a thousand pounds of lift force. (1)

So he was confident in surviving the encounter with a normal demon. Of course, Alex will still take precautions in order to not encounter one while he is resting.

After finding a spot in a tree in a forest, he pulled out of his pockets a small piece of newspaper and saw an article about a mysterious soldier with a shield helping America in the war. He thought, 'This has to be Captain America, so we are probably in Marvel.' The reason he thought so is that the world needs to have an absolute point in time and Captain America's creation is, according to him, an absolute point in time in Marvel.

(6 hours later)

Alex couldn't really sleep because of the time he spent sleeping on the plane. He decided that he would go around the forest in search of a demon. After travelling a bit deeper, Alex heard the scream of a woman. He immediately knew this had to be a demon.

-Third person pov-

In the middle of a forest, we can see Alex sprinting at a speed similar to Ussain Bolt's. When he arrives, we see a demon eating a woman's leg. The demon seemed to have noticed Alex but failed to react in time because he was distracted.

-Alex pov-

As my blow hit the demon, I could feel the bones of the demon breaking around my fist, and it forced the demon to take a few steps back. I could see the mark of my fist imprinted on his ribcage. I could easily tell this demon was similar to those from Demon Slayer. 'I know I can't beat it that easily unless the sun shows up. Wait, the sun! It should be close to morning, so the sun is about to show up.'

He knew that his current and only hope of beating a demon was with the sun, so he could only stall for time.

Before Alex could read the window, the demon in front of him attacked with his fist. Knowing he needed to stall time, he ducked under the attack and then kicked the demon sideways. The kick, as intended, broke the demon's leg.

Before the demon could start his healing, he uppercut him as hard as he could, breaking the demon's jaw. Because the demon was a very weak one, its healing was pretty slow, and Alex knew that and used it to his advantage. He picked up the demon and put him in a place where the sun could hit him.

'I hope this isn't going to be long.' The sun rose in the distance, as if to respond to Alex's thought. The demon started begging for mercy to let him live, but after just a minute, the sun hit the demon and he slowly became dust.

After a few seconds, a red window appeared in front of Alex.

"Now that's something I like," Alex thought, because he could now have a solid way to grow.
