Chapter 9- Details of Competition

So, i have decided to arrange a fair competition for your survival.

This is the competition that will decide who is going to be summoned in next world as heroes.

"Now let's talk about the details of this competition." Goddess spoke the details again with her smile.

"If it's a competition then Is there also any rewards for winning it." Yamada asked after some thought.

"Definitely there's a reward but keep patience children, we will talk about it later." Goddess patiently listened and replied him.

"I arranged this whole competition to be fair to show other people abilities and skills.

These skills will help you to survive under adverse conditions in the another world." Goddess continued,

"There are three stages means three waves in this competition but you had to survive only one of them, rest of the stages are your choice."

"Survive from what?" Hitaka questioned her.

"What do you guys read in your Summoning novels about surviving?" Goddess in response to him asked her own question.

"Monsters" Kirihara replied instantly.

"So you know, that's your answer. Discuss among themselves about these questions." Goddess replied him sarcastically.

"What we have to fight monsters here they are just ordinary students not some millitary officer?" Miss Asami, asked her in concern towards her students.

"There's no need to worry more teacher, we will somehow pass this competition with our abilities." Suzune spoke tried to lift her worries.

"It doesn't mean that you have to fight the first wave of monsters, you guys have to just survive upto start of the second wave." Goddess told her the real meaning of her previous words.

"Oh! that's a relief so, it means that we can also run away to a safe place until start of the second wave." The back benchers trio spoke in relief.

"I will beat those ugly monsters with this baseball bat", a sport student spoke laughing showing his bat.

"We also need those weapons like their sport tools for our survival." Masaki kirigashima and another student Selena, who just kept quiet until now spoke together.

"Looks like they are best friends, despite having present in another class facing such dangerous competition they still support each other." Miss Asami spoke again watching their faces with a relief.

"Hey kirihara, do you know something about both of them?" Helix asked looking at kirihara.

"Which one, Masaki and Selena right?" Kirihara confirmed him.

"Yup, about them." Helix affirmed it.

Kirihara started spoke non- stop, about their rumours of hobbies and their relationships outside the school.

"They are best friends outside their classes, they came together in this highschool from the same middle school.

Rumours have been that hitaka had been dating Masaki and seen outside the school together.

And some even say that Selena girl had always a crush on one of the sport student. She is a big fan of body builders, so much that her social sites are filled with their posing posters."

"What a strange hobby didn't it?" Kirihara finally stopped.

"Yup, every one had their own hobbies." Helix agreed with him.

Here both boys talked, busy in their thoughts meanwhile, goddess calmly solved their worrying doughts.

"Yes,but don't worry i will provide you various weapons of your choice for fighting them."

"But it's unfavorable to us, if we talk about sports class in our competition, then they are in more favourable position such as they are physically more fit in fighting than us." But some students still complained to her.

"Unfortunately, You are right but you completely forgot that they are only ten students but your class have twenty one students to fight.

In other words, you guys are fortunately more favourable in numbers." Goddess made them realise how they neglected their advantages.

"Oh one more thing, no one will be able to exit the competition until only atleast 18 students remain alive." Suddenly she spoke again dropping another bomb on us.

"Didn't you Just say that we can exit the competition after passing of first wave." Suzune argued irritated from her mischief.

"te.hee.. Yes, you can exit the competition but only 18 students will remain." Goddess spoke with laughter agreeing with her but still didn't change her condition.

"We had all discussed about competition rules and the waves but where is the place where we will be fighting among us." Masaki spoke thinking about their fighting place.

"The competition will be held in a artificially made special dimension which i had designed myself for you guys." Goddess spoke proudly about her creation.

"What is the advantage of we exit upon reaching the first wave?" Asuna asked her.

"Surviving first wave means that you guys are eligible to leaving the competition.

According to rules, i will provide you skill points for surviving the first wave of monsters." Goddess elaborated her words.

"About the skill points—" Miabi, a grey haired girl tried to ask her.

Goddess spoke cutting off before her words completed, "You guys will know in your own in another world after watching your status screen.

"Okay, but is there any other ways to gain more skill points." Miabi asked her again changing her question.

"Yes, if you kill monsters according to their Rank, you will gain skill points after calculating their points and number of kills." Goddess told how the points she had set for killing the monsters.

"Whatt.. There are higher ranking monsters too.." Tumo spoke nervously.

"Yes there are but not in the first wave." Goddess agreed with her thoughts but she told that they were in the later stages.

They tensed listening but Goddess next words made them relax.

"So, if we want more skill points than others Then, at last we had to fight those monster." Kirihara said with tensed voice.

"Oh and there is another most easir way to earn skill points, want to listen" Goddess spoke with a smile trying to lifting our mood.

"Yes yes, do tell us." Backbenchers trio faces brightens and they asked goddess with enthusiasm.

"You just had to kill the students present around you. Goddess spoke as her earlier kind smile turned into dangerous grin.

"Whattt.. kill the students around you. Students became bewildered listening to her.

"Goddess sama stop messing with us." Some students started shouting angirly at her.

"Yes Goddess sama please stop joking with us." While some pleaded with her.

"Do i look like i am joking with you people, Yes, each student and teacher here represent equal to ten skill points." Goddess elaborated with seriousness.

"Skill points for killing human." Listening to this for a moment a smile came on the faces of some students of sports class but they hid it immidiately.

Now matter how hard they tried to hide it from the students but it can not escaped from the eyes of Helix and Selina. They became alert the moment they sensed blood lust.
