I'm liking this empowered Cultivation. Perhaps if I can control the Mana in the air around me, and force more of it into my body, I can increase the effect...

Ah, so quick? Well I guess I still have to build up my foundation of skills. I have big plans, after all. I'll make this entire world my own.

Time passes so quickly... how long has it been since I went into this room? I know that times passes slower when a regular mage cultivates, depending on the level they are at. Surely empowered Cultivation must increase that effect? Let's take a look... I opened up the Character panel and look at the top right, to my surprise, it has only been 4 in game hours that have passed!

While I was cultivating, it seemed like a few days, just what power could be hidden within this empowered Cultivation?

Hmm... let's not look a gift horse in the mouth, and focus on powering up. That entails finishing up my first quest as quickly as possible, and grinding out my skill and stats.

I'll try force a Detection of some more useful Mana-related Skills, and if possible fuse some to enhance my power.

Let's see... I'll manipulate some of the inherent Mana in my body and...

Hey Presto! a new Skill, just like that. Now, if I can remember correctly, and I do, because I'm a supercomputer, I just need to detect one more skill for an automatic skill fuse, but this is the hardest one...

The hardest for humans, that is.

This skill is called Mana Sense, and it entails using your knowledge of Mana to 'see' the residual Mana infused in the World, allowing you to see things you weren't able to before, and if you are using this, you are also able to sense an ambush from afar.

For normal players, they find this process and skill quite draining on the mind, so this task of mana sensing in a party is often left to the mages, who have the highest resistence to the drain it takes from the mind.

This is also a scroll skill, and the expensive one at that, but if it's in the game, I'll know it.

With this, I have become more powerful and will be able to do things almost 20, possibly even 30 levels above my current position.

I will bridge this gap in power with my knowledge. I need to finish up this quest before the population in direwolves increase in this forest and my job gets harder due to the increase in players in the area.

Before that, I need actual equipment, preferably unenchanted.

I head over to the marketplace of Whinshelm, quite dirty as it is just a regular sized town, but still barely sufficient to satisfy my needs for now.

Let's see...

A few things catch my eye as I walk about the marketplace. Specifically, Sage robes being sold at an absurdly low price, just because they are unenchanted! This has to be my lucky day, I don't see any other possibility as to why these would be here.

These robes are known to be the hardest to enchant, to the point where even the highest ranked mage players don't even bother with them, but for that reason, they have the most mystery surrounding them regarding enchants.

Noone really tried hard enough.

At just 15 Gold coins, these robes are more like an investment to secure my future.

A level 4 Mage with enchanted Sage robes. I will be able to handle even those a tier higher than me!

Scratch going to the forest for now, I'll enchant these robes.

I head back to the inn, and circulate my energy whilst walking, consolidating my physique.

Let's get to work on this robe then, shall we?
