POV Change - 3rd Person
Yasaka had come all the way to this abandoned place to make sure the Yokai Tribes were all fine. To make sure they were still happy with her leadership. Even if she had to leave the leyline that empowered her, she had to make sure her faction didn't fall apart. Which meant putting aside her own selfish needs and putting the factions well-being first.
But it turns out that those Yokai Tribes had moved location without telling anyone, only having left behind a message hidden behind barriers only people on Yasaka's level could access.
"I understand that they had their reasons...but why couldn't they have told me or at least one of my subordinates? Would've saved me a trip all the way here..." Yasaka sighed as she slowly floated into the air, her magical power making flight as easy as breathing.
Just as she was about to take off, a massive howl came from a nearby mountain, followed quickly by a guttural roar that actually blew the top off the mountain. An eyebrow raised in curiosity, Yasaka sensed for life over there and only found a single lifeform. It seemed to be a Yokai but at the same time...Human?
She flashed over to the mountain and soon had her suspicions confirmed:
A Werewolf. A Human-Yokai Hybrid. Usually the produce of an Okami Spirit taking human form and impregnating a human woman, or a Okami Spirit taking human form and being impregnated by a human man.
They were middle-level Yokai known for their brute strength and healing factors which made them just as dangerous, if not more so, than Vampires.
But the energy in this Werewolf...was massive. Not near Yasaka's level but not too far off either.
It stood at around 8 and a half feet tall but if it stood up straight and without hunching it's back, it would no doubt be 9 and a half feet tall. It's body was covered in thick black fur but even that fur didn't hide the rippling muscle that covered it's body. All four of it's limbs ended in claw-tipped extremities, and each of the claws looking like it could easily cut through metal like a hot knife through butter.
Yasaka could see that it looked...different when compared to normal Werewolves. She'd seen hundreds of them in her factions vanguard - they were all intimidating-looking. But this Werewolf was even more so. For one, she knew that the biggest Werewolf in her army would be 7 and a half feet but this Werewolf in front of her was taller and bigger than that one.
"Oh? There's a little wolfy all the way out here?" Yasaka tried to keep it light, knowing that a Werewolf who's size and strength were so obvious even without using her energy vision, would no doubt be a leader in it's own right - she didn't want to offend him. "I should take you back to Kyoto so you can't hurt anyone out here, shouldn't I?" Yasaka offered her assistance, still keeping it light and not ordering the Werewolf, knowing that tonight was a full-moon and that most Werewolf's have a hard time controlling themselves on such nights.
But it would seem this was the Werewolf's first full-moon, as instead of putting some sense into him about how she wasn't a threat, it did the opposite as the Werewolf instantly lunged at Yasaka.
Even though she could see him moving, clearly, he was still moving far too quickly for a Werewolf. 'Way, way too quickly,' was all that passed through Yasaka's head as she flashed to the side, teleporting out of the way by a few feet.
She heard the snap of the Werewolf's jaws, followed by a sonic boom from it's initial lunge and it's body movement mid-air - it's arms slashing so quickly that they actually appeared in Yasaka's eyes as blurs.
"I'm not your enemy--!" Yasaka tried to get out but the Werewolf appeared in front of her just as quickly as it had gotten up here in the first place, stunning her and making her throw up a barrier of blue foxfire and solidifying it. But despite the barrier's strength, it was crushed nearly instantly as the Werewolf burst through it, throwing the air in the surrounding area into dismay.
Yasaka found a growl escaping her own throat but quickly suppressed her own animal instincts - this Werewolf was obviously under it's first full-moon where they have the least control.
...Even if Yasaka found it completely unbelievable that an 18-year-old Werewolf could display such power. 18 being the time when they first change.
She teleported behind the Werewolf and continuously made barriers around the Werewolf, he blue foxfire becoming almost glass-like as it was compiled together into a triangle cage around the Werewolf. Said being continued to slam against the barriers made but to no avail, they stayed solid. But Yasaka could feel the power behind each of his hits and every single body slam felt like a cruise ship slamming into the barriers. If it weren't for Yasaka's unnaturally deep energy reserves...the Werewolf would no doubt break free.
This continued, with Yasaka reinforcing and repairing the cracks in the barrier and the Werewolf hitting the barriers with everything it had.
All until the moon disappeared and the sun started to rise above the horizons.
The banging stopped. The repairing of the barriers stopped. The barriers came away to show an incredibly handsome youth with silver hair and pale white skin. His body was just as muscular as his Werewolf form, like an Olympic Gymnast or Swimmer. Just minus the fur, obviously. But looking at the man's body, the lines of defined muscle...the object dangling between his legs...Yasaka felt something she hadn't felt in so long. Not since before that man left her and Kunou...
She felt attraction. Pure, unadulterated...lust.
She quickly teleported to him and picked him up in her arms, getting a few 'innocent' touches in on his gorgeous body, before quickly teleporting away with a small smile on her face.

POV Change - Haru Kobayashi (MC)
My eyes cracked open, the sunlight blinding me--Huh, this is just like that time I woke up in this world, isn't it?
The only difference being that my body felt like I'd been hit by a ballistic missile and used as a rug by a few tanks. I tried to get up but my muscles failed me and just started to convulse - not good, really. But turning my neck to the left, I saw a short blonde girl looking at me with her yellow-amber eyes.
When our eyes came into contact, I squinted a little before looking at the top of her head, at her...fox ears?
"Ah!" the girl gave a surprised yelp before rushing backward, out of the door and peeking from behind it with only half of her face showing. Sniffing the air, I found a similar scent to what I smelt before I went berserk and blacked out last night. Was she the Therianthrope who took me out? I don't think so. She's too weak, or that's what my instincts tell me. Same species at the very least. Maybe even family members.
"Excuse me..." I croaked out, my voice feeling particularly rough - just like the rest of my body, it seemed - and before I continued, I coughed a few times to clear my throat, "...Could you tell me where I am?"
But all I got in reply was her face going slightly red before she rushed off.
...Was I truly that handsome? So handsome that even lolis--No, stop that thought process, Haru. FBI could be listening your thoughts. Or Chaos. Don't know which one is worse, honestly.
Forcing myself through the pain of getting up, I found myself in a bed, in a bedroom that was quite...oriental-looking. Or is traditional the right word? Traditionally oriental? Yeah, that works. Taking the blanket off I saw that I was in a silver-white kimono with a black obi sash tied around my waist. Though the kimono seemed a little small around my chest and shoulder region because it didn't fully close, meaning it showed off a glimpse at my built pecs.
...Whoever picked this out is a pervert.
As I thought this, a voice entered my ears and I turned to the door to see a much...bigger version of the earlier blond fox girl. Bigger on ALL fronts, trust me.
"Ah, so you're awake, Mr...?" her voice was smooth and sounded melodic like the chiming of a bell - I wonder how well she can sing? - but hearing her question, I politely smiled before replying to it.
"Haru. Haru Kobayashi," I greeted with a small bow before it suddenly hit me who this was and who the little fox girl was, "Yasaka-sama," I greeted with a more respectful tone as I inwardly felt a bit nervous - did I attack the leader of the Yokai Faction?! Oh for Chaos' sake!
But to both my surprise and relief, Yasaka only chuckled before replying, "Fufu~ Please, refer to me as Yasaka, Haru-kun. We should be close enough after last night's fight, no?" she said, her beautiful face becoming even more so as her plump lips spread into a wonderful smile that seemed to light up the room.
...But what's with that first name calling? Is my handsomeness working against (for) me once again?
"Haha," I laughed politely before walking over toward Yasaka, "How could I refer to you in such a casual way, Yasaka-sama? You're the leader of the Yokai Faction after all," I politely denied, knowing that if I started to just refer to her without honorifics, I'd bring trouble my way. Not from her but possibly from her subordinates. I could deal with them, surely. But that didn't mean I wanted to go through the effort of doing so.
"Hmm," she brought a hand to her chin, her smile fading away as her yellow eyes looked flirtatiously up at me, "And what if I were to order you as the Leader of the Yokai Faction, to simply call me Yasaka with no honorifics?" she asked, seemingly playfully but my instincts told me that she was being serious. Ultra serious.
Shaking my head with a helpless smile, I replied to her, "There's no need to do that...Yasaka," I said, knowing that I'd rather beat up her subordinates than upset such a mature beauty--I mean, to upset the leader of the Yokai Faction. Yeah, that's what I meant. 100%.
Yasaka smiled widely at that before taking a step to the side suddenly and revealing the little fox girl, who had been hiding behind her this whole time, "Kunou, don't you think you should introduce yourself to Haru? Ah, and remember to apologize for earlier. You ran away from him when he'd just woken up," she reprimanded like the mother she was and I smiled at it. Though when she saw me smiling at her actions, Yasaka went a bit red in the face before pretending to find the floor incredibly interesting.
Cute.
"Um..." Kunou stepped forward, her hands fidgeting as she struggled to keep her eyes looking up at me and her face going red with embarrassment, "I'm sorry that I, uh, ran away when you woke up..." her voice got quieter as she carried on but all I did was squat down until I was eye-level with her and gave her a pat to her head, ruffling her silky blonde hair and fluffy ears.
"It's okay, Kunou-chan. I'd no doubt be scared if I saw a stranger appearing in my home as well," I smiled as she closed her eyes and pushed up against the head pat, "You can call me however you want, so don't feel too nervous around me, okay?"
Seeing her nervousness around me visibly decrease, I chuckled before standing back up and looking over to Yasaka who looked slightly envious of her daughter. I thought of patting her head but discarded the idea when I thought about how inappropriate it was - we barely even knew each other. Maybe after I got to know her I'd give her an insurmountable amount of head pats. For sure.
"I assume you brought me to Kyoto after stopping me in my Werewolf form?" I asked and Yasaka quickly gave a nod, her expression slightly redder after she knew I'd caught her looking so jealous of not getting any head pats, "Then I'll have to thank you for stopping me. Who knows who I'd have hurt in that form if you hadn't come and stopped me, Yasaka," I bowed, deeply, knowing that this wonderful woman in front of me had stopped me from doing something I'd have regret for the rest of my life. Coming out of my bow, I smiled at the mother-daughter pair, "If you'll excuse me, I should be getting back to my apartment. My neighbor will probably start to panic about my whereabouts if I don't return soon."
I went to leave but Yasaka put her hand on my shoulder and looked up at me with a smile. Even Kunou, the girl who'd seemed terrified to be in my presence, stood in front of me with a vaguely indignant look on her face, "I brought you to Kyoto for a reason, Haru," Yasaka started before moving back in front of me, "What would you say if I offered you the position as mine and Kunou's personal guard?"
...Eh?
