"Am sorry Marta, I brought all these ill luck to your home, but rest assured I will definitely find thana and I will bring her to see you. And I promise to take care of her and Lydia." Ava said. her eyes burned with determination, as she knelt before Marta's grave with Lydia.
yes, they already buried her and they will head straight to get thana from here.
"Marta am sorry, I couldn't.. I couldn't protect you.." Lydia clenched her clothes, her eyes were already watery, tears threatening to fall, but she continued. "i-i-i couldn't protect you, i-i could do nothing but stand and watched them kill you.. if not that our magic was taken away, you could have killed them right??" She smiled bitterly as the tears washed over her face. "but rest assured, I promise you that no harm will come near thana, and I will protect her with my life. Rest in peace Sister." Lydia said as she placed the flowers she bought on Marta's grave. They both moved back then paid their respect by bowing before Marta's grave.
Ava felt really sad. Marta was nothing but a kind woman who loved to take care of people in need. And it all becae her.. 'because of me..' She thought as a tear rolled down her cheeks. "We should get going before it gets dark, our journey is still far." Lydia said as she Rose up picking up her bag she started walking. Ava quickly stood and bowed shortly before grabbing her bag and ran after Lydia. "can I ask something?" Ava asked curiously. "What is it?" Lydia replied without turning to look at her. "uhm...what... what fortress are you from??" She asked.
Seriously she has been wondering what fortress Marta and Lydia came from. She knew they knew magic the first time she saw them. "Fortress?" Lydia asked confusedly, as she turned to look at Ava. "I mean, what kingdom?" Ava said. "Eston" She shrugged. "What? Est..Ava greets her ladyship." Ava's eyes widened in suprise and she crossed Lydia, then bowed her head. "Don't be silly.." Lydia chuckled softly.. "I never thought I would ever in this life time meet anyone from Eston" Ava beamed.
Eston is the second most powerful kingdom in their continent. "there is nothing special about my kingdom, besides I hate it.." Lydia scoffed. "How can say you hate the second most powerful kingdom in continent Acura" Ava sighed. "I just don't like it, I wish I came from your kingdom." Lydia sighed. "you..you know my fortress??" Ava asked surprisedly. "of course I do, princess Ava of Cestan" Lydia grinned. "You... how did you know?"
Ava was really surprised, how did she know her? did Marta know her too?
"it already dark, we must find a place to sleep." Lydia said looking at the sky. it was then Ava realised everywhere was dark. They were not ordinary beings, so their eyes are sharper and shines more in the dark. thus they walked deeper into the Forest.
.
"moma?! moma?!" thana yelled once she opened her eyes. she was covered in sweats, and she panted like she had ran a marathon race. the two guys who were asked to watched her rushed in when they heard the girl scream. "moma..where is moma.." thana teared up when she didn't see her mom. "I had a dream that moma died, I want to see moma... where is moma?" thana cried tugging on the leg of one of the men who rushed in. 'what do we do Zak?' the man whose leg was tugged by the girl communicated telepathically with the other guy.. they both felt for the girl, but then the feelings disappeared almost Immediately. 'we should just tell her the guy referred to as Zak replied. 'What?' his eyes widened. 'lord Axel will kill us' he communicated. "moma.." thana cried. she knew her moma wasn't with her, even if she is still little she could sense her scofsn't anywhere close, so she's sure she's not anywhere near home. 'Say something' Zak communicated to the guy whose leg was trapped in thana's little hand. 'say what?' the guy scoffed. anything, we'll be in trouble if Lord Axel finds out'. Zak communicated. 'I'll kill you after this.." the guy sighed then crouched and carried thana back to her bed. "moma..moma." thana cried. "go to sleep." the guy said and covered her eyes with her palm, and in the next second she was dosing off. "m..moma.." she muttered. the guy heaved a long sigh of relief then walked out of the room and Zak followed. "why did you do that?" Zak asked. " I had no choice, you refused to help me." the other guy retort. "jeese Inez." Zak scoffed. "tomorrow won't be easy with that girl." Zak sighed..

Ava opened her eyes once she heard the strange sound again.
At first first she thought she was hallucinating, but when she heard the sound again, she became affirmative she wasn't hallucinating.
they have sharp hearing ability. they are able to hear sounds from a very far distance.
they were in their tent at the middle of the Forest. She sat up when she heard the sound again.
It was footsteps...
She woke Lydia immediately, and Lydia Sat up noticing the look on Ava's face. "what is.." Lydia paused when she also heard the sound of footsteps. "Quick, let hide." Lydia said and stood up and Ava followed suit. they packed up their tents and pit in in their bags and they put out the fire they made to keep them warm. "let go.." Lydia said and headed deeper into the Forest. "we can't walk around the Forest by this time." Ava whispered. "I know, we are going to hide so we would see who are those people." Lydia said, and Ava nodded in response.
Shortly after they've hidden amongst the fat and short trees feel in the Forest, they heard voices. they were really close, and finally the people Lydia ans Ava were waiting for arrived at the place where they camped. they were four men, and they were all dressed in black, and that alone alarmed Ava and Lydia. One amongst the four men climbed down from his horse and walked around where they had made fire. "Seems some one was here." his thick voice echoed. "search, they are close by.." he said again. "they?" another asked. "yes, they were two." he replied as he looked intently at the place where the fire was put out.
Ava looked at Lydia, as she trembled. Unlike her, Lydia was relaxed as she looked at the man who was walking round the place where they had made fire.
After a short while two out of three returned. "My lord, we didn't see anyone." one of them said. "They shouldn't have gone that far.." the man whom they reported to said. "My Lord! I found something.." The last one came running, and when he was before them he showed them a half green Jade pendent.
Ava's eyes widened then she touched her waist and it was indeed her's.
it was given to her by her father, as a gift from her mother. She can't loose it.
She looked at Lydia for help, and Lydia shook her head indicating she should make a move. "but.." She sighed.
the man collected the pendent looking intently at it and like he saw some kind of direction on the Pendent, he raised his head and looked at the direction where Ava and Lydia were hiding, and a smirk curved on his lips...
Ava froze immediately his gaze landed on her.
D-did he see her?? how?? She panicked. and she completely froze when the man approached her direction.
