The battle has only just began

Ten days north, a man received news that a group of six new Vincetti were heading into a suicide mission, due to insufficient information. The weight of the news hit him hard, knowing that they were unprepared and would not stand a chance against the powerful two-scarred demon leading the division of demons. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, he knew he had to act quickly and set out on his journey.

With a heavy heart and a sense of urgency, He set out alone, determined to reach the village before it was too late. He pushed himself to the brink, running nonstop for three days, covering the distance that was supposed to take ten days on horseback. His mind was focused on one thing: saving the new Vincetti from certain death and bring balance to the world.

As he traveled, he thought of the families of the new Vincetti, and how their lives would be forever changed if he failed. He thought of his own family and how proud they would be if he succeeded.

Despite the physical and mental strain, he knew he had to be strong and stay focused on his mission. He pushed himself to the limit, driven by his determination to succeed and his duty as a Vincetti warrior.

As Gabriel's group set out on their journey to defend the village, they made their way towards the town, walking in full armor and carrying their weapons. The journey was grueling, as they had to walk the entire way in their heavy armor, but they pushed on, determined to protect the innocent villagers.

They approached the town and set up camp on the tallest hill near the outskirts, providing them with a better vantage point to spot any demons or their division. The group worked together to set up their tents and start a fire to cook their dinner.

Sitting around the fire, they discussed their plan of action and how they would defend the town if the demons were to attack. They were all determined to protect the village, but they also knew the danger they were facing. Gabriel couldn't shake off the feeling that they were walking into a suicide mission due to the lack of information about the enemy's strength and numbers.

But, he knew that as a Vincetti, it was their duty. He took a deep breath and steeled himself for the battle ahead, ready to face whatever the demons would throw at them.

Leopold, the eldest of the group, took the first shift while the others settled around the campfire.

Chloe sat next to Gabriel. "Are you nervous?" she asked, her eyes scanning the darkening horizon.

"A little," Gabriel admitted. "But I trust in our training and the strength of our clan."

Reagan, the second youngest of the group, sat on the other side of Chloe, his eyes closed in concentration as he focused on the aura of the surrounding area.

Gareth, the youngest of the six, sat next to Melanie, the second eldest. She was quiet, but her eyes were sharp and focused, scanning the area for any sign of danger.

"We'll be fine," Leopold said, his voice firm and confident. "We will protect this village and all those in it."

The night was calm and quiet so the group let their guard down a bit and began sharing stories and jokes around the campfire as they kept watch in the mist of the night.

The conversation flowed easily, with Leopold regaling them with tales, his father would tell. Chloe sharing her favorite memories of growing up in the clan with them, and Reagan and Gareth excitedly discussed the weapons they had been given.

Gabriel sat back, listening to his cousins as he scanned the darkness for any sign of movement. The night was quiet, and the only sounds were the crackling of the fire and the distant hoot of an owl.

Suddenly, there was a loud scream from the other side of the camp. The group jumped to their feet, weapons at the ready. It was Melanie, she was dragged off in the night.

The others quickly jumped to their feet, weapons at the ready, but the enemy had not been noticed by Leopold who was on watch. In the chaos, Melanie had been taken and the group realized they were under attack.

Panic set in as they searched for their missing member, calling out their name and scanning the darkness for any sign of movement. But there was nothing, no trace of the attacker or Melanie.

Suddenly there was a blood-curdling scream heard from the woods, sending chills down the group's back.

The group quickly sprinted into the woods towards the sound. They ventured deep into the woods, finding evidence of a struggle - broken branches and a trail of blood leading deeper into the forest.

Gareth, the youngest of the group, was the first to speak. "We have to split up and follow the trail," he said, his voice shaking with fear but clear and concise.

Leopold, the eldest and leader of the group, nodded. "Gareth and Chloe, you two defend the village. Gabriel, Reagan, and I will follow the trail and see if we can find Melanie."

As they set off into the woods, Gabriel couldn't shake the feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach. They had been so careful, so vigilant, and yet one of their own had still been taken. What kind of enemy could move so quietly, so quickly, without being detected?

As they followed the trail, Gabriel's mind raced with possibilities. He couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, that at any moment, the enemy could strike again, especially when each step was on the blood of family

Suddenly they came to a clearing. There, lying in the center of the clearing, was Melanie. But she was no longer alive.

The three approached Melanie's motionless body hoping for the best, but they knew it was too late. The reality of the situation hit them hard, as they were now one member short in the face of an impending attack. Leopold realized that the eerie silence was not a good sign.

As if on cue, thousands of demons emerged from the trees, charging towards the three of them with terrifying speed. Gabriel, Reagan, and Leopold quickly moved into their defensive formation, bracing themselves for the impending battle.

As the demons swarmed, Gabriel, Reagan, and Leopold took up arms and fought with all their might. They sliced through the hoards, clashing flesh to steel as they battled. The demons were tough, their flesh as hard as steel, but the Vincetti's sword still cut even if it wasn't smooth.

The demons charged at the three, so the Vincetti began cutting down the demons, but still the demons kept coming. Even with Decapitated heads, legs or arms, they would continue charging the Vincetti. even as a respected group of warriors born to kill hundreds of demons, they were vastly outnumbered.

Despite the overwhelming odds, they fought on, determined to protect the village and avenge Melanie's death. The ground was slick with blood, the air thick with the stench of death. But the Vincetti never wavered, their training and determination driving them to fight on.

The Vincetti fought through the night, cutting down demon after demon, their blades flashing in the moonlight. But even as they fought, doubt grew in their mind, and they knew that this battle was one they might not survive but the battle continue'd to rage on

Gabriel, Reagan, and Leopold fought bravely, slicing through the hoards of demons with their swords. Their armor protected them from the demons' sharp claws, but the sheer number of their foes was overwhelming. Just as they were beginning to feel like they were losing the battle, a deafening yell echoed through the forest, causing the demons to part and retreat.

The three were momentarily stunned but soon realized that the yell had come from a group of three massive demons with a scar running down their face. The demons stood tall and imposing, their eyes locked onto the Vincetti warriors. The Vincetti's swords chipped, their armor bent, and bones broke as the demons opened a path for the Vincetti warriors to face them. The Vincetti knew that these three demons were the leaders of the hoards and that this was going to be a tough battle.

The first demon, a towering figure with jagged teeth and glowing red eyes, began to speak. "I think I see three young Vincetti," he sneered, unable to pronounce their clan title correctly. "But what do I know? They're just people to me."

The second demon, slightly smaller but no less intimidating, spoke up. "No, brother," he corrected. "They are Vincetti, and they say they are strong. What shall we do with them?"

The third demon, the largest and most fearsome of the three, stepped forward. "We kill them and eat them," he suggested with a sinister grin.

Gabriel, Reagan, and Leopold watched in horror as the three scarred demons discussed their fate. They knew they had to act fast if they wanted to survive.
